An Encounter with Little Red Riding Hood

As soon as Kanna heard the news, she immediately guessed that the person in question must be the clumsy orca.

She hadn't expected that they had arrived on the island around the same time. Since everyone was already here, it was only a matter of time before they met, which piqued her curiosity. She decided to find an opportunity to visit both Shark Shark and Happy Orca.

After settling into her new residence, the others left one after another due to their own tasks. Everyone felt reassured about Rhodes Island's security, so they simply reminded Kanna to carry a communicator when she went out to play. That way, even if she got lost on the island, they could quickly locate her.

Once the others had left, Kanna stayed in her room for a while before deciding to embark on Kanna's Grand Rhodes Island Adventure.

The moment she stepped out of the door, she sensed a gaze fixed on her.

With just a quick glance, she spotted a hidden Little Red Riding Hood not far away.

She waved at the figure and greeted her, "Hello! I'm Kanna. Do you want to come play with me?"

She recognized her immediately. Though younger than in the game, how could Kanna not know her? The legendary mysterious hunter-wolf of Rhodes Island. The absolute predator of all Lupo. A member of Rhodes Island's SWEEP team. A genius skilled in maneuver warfare, special operations, and stealth combat—Red.

At that moment, Red looked at Kanna in astonishment.

"You can see Red? Red's skills are still lacking. Red needs more training!"

Muttering to herself, Red quickly disappeared into the corner.

Kanna scratched her head. In the game's setting, Red was a bit reclusive, but that was due to her unique personality and past experiences.

She hadn't expected that a simple greeting would shake Red's emotions so much.

As she walked forward, she opened her communicator and found the contact that Kal'tsit had set up earlier.

After hearing Kanna's report, Kal'tsit was silent for a few seconds.

"Thank you for letting me know, Kanna. The person you just saw is named Red. I'll go talk to her. I believe you two will become good friends in the future."

Kanna's current residence was specifically arranged by Kal'tsit—right next to Red's.

Kal'tsit knew that Red was naturally curious about unfamiliar things. She would observe them until she understood them, then lose interest. The original plan was for Red to keep an eye on Kanna.

However, she hadn't expected Red to be discovered immediately and to fall into self-doubt just because Kanna greeted her.

This forced Kal'tsit to put down her current work and go find Red to comfort her.

Fortunately, there were quite a few people on the island who could spot Red. If they met a few more times, Red would eventually get used to it.

Meanwhile, after finishing the call, Kanna continued her adventure.

Thanks to the operator tag hanging around her neck—and the fact that she was just a child—she was easily let through whenever she encountered patrols or security personnel.

Some of the operators who had seen her before even greeted her warmly.

Following the scent of flowers, she opened a door and was immediately greeted by the sight of various plants and flowers filling the room.

She stepped inside carefully. It was obvious that the owner of this place had put a lot of effort into it.

After all, with the constant Catastrophes on Terra, gathering such a wide variety of plants was already a troublesome task. On top of that, maintaining them, choosing suitable environments, and creating a matching ecosystem made it even more difficult.

This small garden, therefore, felt especially precious.

As a polite little dragon, Kanna was certainly curious about whether these plants were edible and how they might taste, but she wouldn't dare take a bite without the owner's permission.
