Chapter 2: Iosefka, the First Beast, and the Hunter’s Dream...

Issei's Point of View:

As he admired the beauty and attractiveness of the woman, her sweet voice snapped him out of his stupor.

"Don't just stand there with your mouth open, sweetheart. Follow me, I need to examine your body, and you still need to rest a little more"

Before he realized it, the woman was already in front of him, taking his hand. Without resistance, he simply nodded and held her soft hand, letting her guide him.

'Damn, not only is this woman beautiful, but she's also a damn MILF'

Within seconds, he was sitting on the stretcher he had been lying on just minutes ago.

As he sat down, he watched the woman turn around and walk toward one of the cabinets. 'What the hell?! How can this woman have such a big ass?!'

As his eyes focused solely on her backside on her way to the cabinet, she suddenly began to sway her hips.

This was too much stimulation for him, and he could only try to hide his growing tent with his hands while remaining completely hypnotized by her figure.

'Uff... if this is a dream, I never want to wake up'

And at that moment, he saw something that left him extremely aroused. At this point, it was impossible to hide his arousal anymore. The woman in front of him had leaned forward while searching for something in the cabinet, causing her already massive butt to stand out even more, giving him a perfect and complete view of that enormous backside moving slightly from side to side.

'Gulp'

Feeling that if he kept looking at her, he would end up doing something really stupid, he looked away and stared at another part of the room, feeling his face burn.

Shortly after, the woman began examining him. During the entire time she performed the tests, he couldn't look her in the eye. The image of that magnificent ass was burned into his brain like a high-resolution photo, keeping his erection firm throughout the entire process.

"Everything is in order. The transfusion was a success, and now your body is healthy. You no longer have to worry about your illness and can live a long life without concerns"

Like a bucket of ice water, all traces of embarrassment and arousal disappeared from his mind. He could only repeat those words over and over again in his head.

'My body is healthy? Was my illness really cured this easily?'

For years, his body had been sick. No matter how many doctors he and his parents visited, none could help him. They all repeated the same words:

'Your son is gravely ill. His body is weakening, and we estimate he will not live past 18'

No matter which hospital they went to, they always received the same grim news. Worse yet, no one could even diagnose what he had.

Not long ago, they had heard of a distant place rumored to have a cure for any disease—no matter how deadly or rare. Anyone who went there was healed.

The problem? This place was in another country, and according to what they had been told, foreigners were not allowed entry unless they had a special permit.

He had lost all hope of being cured, drowning his pain and fear of death in his beloved porn. When he enrolled in Kuoh Academy with his friends, they started peeping on their female classmates, which earned them a terrible reputation among the girls.

But he no longer cared about things like reputation. If he only had three years left to live, why bother worrying about such trivial things?

Still, deep down, he didn't want that. He didn't want to live the rest of his short life as a reckless pervert. He didn't want to die so young.

After much effort, his parents managed to secure him entry into that miraculous city, but not without taking on a few debts as a price.

At that moment, he swore to himself that if he was truly cured, he would become a better son. He would leave behind all the porn and perversion, focus on his studies, get a decent job, and give his parents a peaceful, debt-free life in return for all their sacrifices.

And so, he set off for Yharnam, the miraculous city.

He had to leave school halfway through the year, but it didn't matter. His life was more important. After a long two-week journey, he arrived in Yharnam.

And here he was now, on the verge of tears, feeling as though he had finally been freed from his curse.

For the first time, he could live without fear. A small flame began to grow inside him—a flame representing his determination. He would do everything possible to help his parents and allow them to live happily, free from all worries.

Without realizing it, tears began to fall from his eyes as his body trembled slightly. In that moment, he could only do one thing.

"Thank you... 'sob...' Thank you so much... 'sob...' "

Just as he was about to thank this beautiful woman again, he felt something soft and silky wipe away his tears.

"Come on, don't cry, sweetheart. A cute young man like you shouldn't cry—especially in front of a woman. Women don't like men who cry all the time"

With a teasing tone, the woman in front of him not only wiped his tears but also caressed his cheeks in an attempt to comfort him.

He couldn't help but chuckle softly at her attempt to cheer him up, but deep in his heart, he felt truly warm from the kindness she was showing him.

"Thank you..."

Even though he couldn't completely let go of all the pain and sadness he had repressed over the years, having such a beautiful and hot woman comforting him made it impossible not to smile, a faint blush forming on his face.

Maybe years of indulging in his lust had made these kinds of thoughts normal, but so what?

A gorgeous and sexy MILF was comforting him—any self-respecting man would think the same way.

While lost in thought, he suddenly felt his cheeks being pulled. When he looked up, all he could see was a white neck before feeling a warm, wet sensation press against his forehead, followed by the soft sound of a kiss.

By the time he realized what had happened, he could only stare at the woman with burning cheeks as the same words repeated over and over in his mind.

"I'm never washing my forehead again"

Just as his mind spun with what had just happened, a beautiful voice brought him back to reality.

"Where are my manners? My name is Iosefka. What's your name, cutie?"

Hearing the compliment from Iosefka made his cheeks burn even more.

In an attempt to compose himself, he quickly responded,

"Ah! My apologies. My name is Hyoudou Issei. It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Iosefka. You can call me Issei"

That was how, for what he believed to be at least an hour or more, he talked with Iosefka about various mundane topics. The more he spoke with her, the more comfortable and relaxed he felt in her presence.

However, he also remained on alert due to her sudden jokes and insinuations. While he felt that she was merely having fun with his embarrassed reactions, he couldn't bring himself to complain when she gave him a good view of her ass several times or when she hugged him, letting him feel her large, soft breasts. Those clothes definitely didn't show how voluptuous and sexy she really was.

He ran into several issues when the teasing escalated too much, and he ended up pressing his erection against Iosefka's body multiple times—mainly against her large ass and flat stomach.

This made him realize that if things continued like this, he wouldn't be able to contain his lust for much longer, and he didn't want to hurt the only woman—aside from his mother—who had genuinely taken an interest in him and was willing to talk to him.

So, in an attempt to ease the tension between them after their last encounter—which had been much more than just a simple touch—he asked the question that had been lingering in his mind:

"Iosefka, I'd like to ask, what are those vials with the red liquid? And especially that golden one?"

At his question, Iosefka glanced at the blood vials and, with a small smile, replied, "Those are 'Blood Vials.' They are a miraculous blood-based medicine capable of curing diseases, healing wounds and broken bones, and even extending one's life by several years"

She took a moment to let him process what she had just said before continuing her explanation.

"Their effects may vary slightly from person to person, but no matter what, they can heal anything. As for the refined blood vial, that is my own creation. I have refined the blood vials, giving them that golden color. They are at least 40% more potent than regular blood vials"

Processing everything Iosefka had said, he could only feel amazed and in awe of his... 'Friend?' He wasn't sure what they were, but he definitely already considered her a good friend with whom he could be himself.

After her explanation, and curious about the refinement process, he asked Iosefka for a more detailed demonstration and explanation. And so, the hours passed as he learned from Iosefka about blood refinement and some additional medical knowledge.

This sparked a curiosity and desire for medicine within him. Who knows? Maybe in the future, he would study medicine and seek to create incredible things alongside Iosefka.

After a meticulous lesson, he managed to create a refined blood vial, though of lower quality than Iosefka's own. It would only be a matter of time and practice before he reached her level.

It was at that moment that they heard a strange noise coming from a door leading to the room before the clinic's main exit.

"What was that?" he asked in doubt, looking at Iosefka, who seemed slightly frightened and uneasy.

"No... it can't be today... there should still be a whole week left... why is this happening now...?"

As he listened to Iosefka's murmurs, he heard the loud roar of an animal and the screams of what he thought were two people.

This only intensified Iosefka's fear, causing her to tremble. Unable to bear seeing her in such a state any longer, he approached her, wrapping her in a hug while his hand stroked her back.

He was merely copying what he had seen in anime and movies, trying to help Iosefka relax—and luckily, it worked.

"It's okay, Iosefka. Everything's fine. I'm here" he said, a slight blush forming on his cheeks due to the embarrassment of copying a phrase from an anime.

But he soon set that aside when he felt Iosefka cling tightly to him, giving him a firm embrace—one he wouldn't have expected from an older woman. Though, considering how miraculous the blood vials were, he wouldn't be surprised if they also granted additional strength to those who consumed them.

Iosefka's Point of View:

When she heard the beast's roar, fear and terror overtook her, causing her to murmur in fright:

"No... it can't be today... there should still be a whole week left... why is this happening now...?"

Moments later, she heard the roar of a beast and the screams of two people not far from them. This caused her to tremble in fear.

But before her fear could take full control, she heard Issei's soft voice along with a pair of arms wrapping around her, one of his hands gently stroking her back.

"It's okay, Iosefka. Everything's fine. I'm here"

Like a beacon in the middle of a storm, Issei's words and embrace helped her relax.

"Thank you, Issei... but we must find safety. The streets are no longer secure, and neither is this clinic"

Grabbing Issei's hand, she tried to lead him deeper into the clinic. However, before they could go far, the roaring and screaming suddenly stopped, replaced by the sound of something large approaching.

With her fear surging once more, she quickly led Issei deeper into the clinic, taking him through several hallways until they reached a closed door. As soon as they passed through, she hastily shut it before leading him up a staircase to the next floor. Once there, they moved through a few rooms until they arrived at her personal quarters.

Releasing Issei's hand, she kneeled beside her bed and pulled out a large box from underneath.

"Issei, help me with this, please" she said, panic creeping into her voice, though she forced herself to remain calm.

"Huh? Ah! Yes, right away!"

With Issei's help, she placed the large box onto her desk. Opening one of the desk drawers, she retrieved a key and used it to unlock the padlock keeping the box shut.

Upon opening it, a set of black leather clothing was revealed inside. "Issei, put these on. It's urgent" she said, handing him the leather outfit. "There's no time to waste. Put it on immediately"

After her words, Issei began changing as quickly as possible, though it was clear he felt extremely embarrassed about having to undress in front of her. However, without paying any attention to that, she turned her serious gaze back to the box and pulled out what appeared to be two ordinary metal canes.

The only difference was that both ends of the canes were sharp, like swords. Near the base, just before the sharp ends began, there was something resembling a grip.

These canes were, in fact, weapons known as 'Threaded Canes' They were trick weapons commonly used by hunters who had a more elegant and noble approach to the act of hunting beasts.

One was her personal weapon, and the other was a spare she always kept in case something happened to her main weapon. Leaving both canes on the desk, she pulled out a 'Hunter's Pistol'. While not as effective unless you were a hunter, it was still a useful weapon.

Lastly, she took out two small pouches that were meant to be strapped around the waist. One was designed to store quicksilver bullets, which was already filled with them, and the other was meant to hold blood vials, which was also full.

Turning around, she saw Issei wearing the 'Hunter's Attire' she had given him. Handing him both pouches, she urged him to put them on. Grabbing the Hunter's Pistol, she walked up to him.

"We don't have much time, so listen carefully, Issei. The Hunt Night is about to begin. The noise we heard earlier was the sound of the beasts awakening" She spoke quickly, her voice carrying a deeply ingrained fear as she secured the 'Hunter's Pistol' onto the holster at his waist.

She could see the doubt and growing fear in the boy's eyes—understandable, given how suddenly everything was happening. But the longer they talked, the more danger they were in. The distant roars and screams were already growing louder.

"I know you have questions, but this is neither the time nor the place for detailed explanations" She gently held Issei's face between her hands, looking directly into his eyes.

"You are now a Hunter, someone blessed by miraculous blood, with superhuman power capable of fighting the beasts that plague Yharnam" She knew what she was about to say wasn't easy to accept, but unfortunately, the boy was now trapped in this place. She couldn't let him leave without some kind of explanation.

"Listen, at any moment, you will start feeling sleepy, and soon, you will wake up somewhere inside the clinic. You will have to find a way out and kill all the beasts. When the hunters eliminate the beasts, everything returns to normal"

It was clear that Issei didn't understand any of what she was saying, but all she could do was hope—and pray—that he would survive the hell he had unknowingly walked into.

"Please, survive... I hope we can see each other again"

At that moment, she placed the Threaded Cane in Issei's hands, her eyes brimming with unshed tears. She knew exactly what awaited him, and she could only hope he would make it out alive.

Just as Issei grasped the cane, the sound of a door shattering echoed through the clinic, startling them both.

"No... no, no, no! Not yet! There's still supposed to be time!"

She clenched the cane tightly when suddenly, the door in front of her was ripped from its hinges, revealing a wounded werewolf. The deep gashes across its body and the axe lodged in its back were clear signs that it had already been in battle.

"W-what is that?!"

Issei's voice trembled as he stared at the beast, fear slowly consuming him.

"Issei, calm down! Showing weakness will only make you prey for these beasts! You have to be strong—I know it's hard, but you must do it to survive!"

Without giving the beast a chance to react, she activated her cane's mechanism, transforming it into a whip lined with blades. The transformation occurred mid-swing, and the weapon tore through one of the beast's legs, causing it to roar in pain before lunging at her.

With a swift movement, she dodged to the side and swung her weapon at the beast's neck.

Mid-swing, the whip retracted back into a cane, and with it, she delivered a deep slash to the creature's throat. Blood gushed out in torrents.

In a desperate attempt to survive, the werewolf lunged at her again. But she was prepared—using the beast's own momentum, she thrust her weapon into its eye, piercing straight into its brain, instantly killing it.

However, due to the inhuman strength, weight, and momentum of the creature, she was knocked to the ground, its lifeless body pinning her down.

"Iosefka!!"

She heard Issei's frantic voice as he rushed to her side.

"Are you okay?" She could hear the concern and fear in his voice.

"Y-yeah... 'cough' 'cough' If you could just help me get this thing off..."

While she was stronger than a normal human, she was nowhere near the level of a seasoned hunter. That fact became even clearer when Issei was able to lift the beast with little difficulty—and that thing was insanely heavy.

"Tha—"

Before I could finish thanking him, Issei wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into a tight embrace.

"Is-sei... gentle..." She could barely breathe due to how tightly he was squeezing her.

The moment he let go, she saw the fear in his eyes, along with the guilt of thinking he had hurt her.

"S-sorry... I didn't mean to hurt you" He lowered his head, small tears falling from his eyes.

"Hey, it's okay, sweetheart, I'm fine"

Feeling a warmth bloom in her chest, she gently cupped Issei's cheeks and made him look at her.

But she instantly regretted it when she saw his tear-filled eyes, filled with fear, yet also deep concern for her well-being.

She was suddenly reminded that, despite looking like a young adult, Issei was only 15 years old—and in a few weeks, he would turn 16.

Guilt weighed heavily on her heart. He had been thrown into this nightmare without any warning, and she knew that, had he been alone, he would have already been dead somewhere in the streets of Yharnam.

Though there was still so much she needed to explain, she decided to spend this moment comforting him.

Following her instincts, she embraced the boy again, gently guiding his head to rest against her chest. Even though her clothes were still soaked in beast blood, she allowed herself to get lost in the moment. She stroked his hair and whispered soothing words to calm him down.

For two whole minutes, they remained like that—holding each other—until he finally stopped crying and started to compose himself.

"Listen, Issei... I know this is terrifying, and it's a lot to take in, but you must focus"

Seeing him nod, she continued,

"As I was saying, you have been chosen by miraculous blood to become a hunter. Your body has been enhanced to superhuman levels, and you are now one of the few people capable of fighting against these beasts"

Giving him a moment to process everything, she continued speaking.

"All hunters, or those chosen by the miraculous blood, are taken to a place we call 'The Hunter's Dream.' It is a mystical and dangerous realm, home to many different kinds of beasts that hunters must slay in order for the dream to end"

She paused for a moment, glancing out the window. There wasn't much time left.

"For the Hunter's Dream to end, hunters must kill every beast they encounter there. But it's not just the hunters who are taken to that place—all the people of Yharnam, sooner or later, end up there. However, most do not survive the beasts' attacks and ultimately perish"

She let out a deep sigh.

"You are now a hunter, and you will be taken to this place. But don't worry, there will be other hunters who will help and teach you everything you need to know. Just stay alive—and visit my clinic. Even if it takes me longer to arrive than you, I will be taken there as well. And when that happens, I promise to explain everything to you in detail. But until then… survive"

At that moment, she gave Issei a warm smile.

Slowly, a crimson-colored magic circle—reminiscent of blood—formed around him. As it activated, she saw Issei's body collapse, unconscious, onto the floor.

"Please… stay alive, Issei..."

She watched as his unconscious body slowly dissolved into red particles.

"I hope my explanation gave him at least an idea of what to do… and that the items I gave him will help him survive…"

And so, beneath the glow of the Red Moon, Iosefka knelt in silent prayer, hoping that some god, any god, would hear her plea and keep Issei safe.

Neither of them realized it at the time, but they had already formed a strong bond—one that, in the future, would save them both from their ruin.
