Jason sat across from Noah in the library, a Bible open in front of him. His fingers tapped impatiently against the table as he read a verse, then sighed in frustration. "I don't get half of this. It's like a puzzle with missing pieces."
Noah chuckled. "Yeah, some parts can be hard to understand. But you don't have to figure it all out at once. Faith isn't about knowing everything—it's about taking steps, even when you don't see the whole path."
Jason leaned back in his chair, arms crossed. "Easy for you to say. You've been doing this for years."
Noah shook his head. "Not really. I still have questions. I still struggle sometimes. But I've learned that God isn't looking for perfect understanding—He's looking for a willing heart."
Jason sighed, rubbing his temples. "So, what, I just believe blindly?"
"No," Noah said gently. "You keep searching. You ask, you learn, and you take it one step at a time."
Jason was quiet for a moment, staring down at the pages in front of him. Then, almost hesitantly, he asked, "So… what's church really like?"
Noah brightened. "It's not as intimidating as you think. It's just people gathering, worshiping, learning. You don't have to pretend to be someone you're not."
Jason hesitated. The idea of stepping into a church felt… overwhelming. But at the same time, something in him was curious.
"You can come with me this Sunday," Noah offered. "No pressure. Just check it out."
Jason let out a breath and nodded slowly. "Yeah… maybe I will."
It was just a small step. But for the first time, Jason felt like he wasn't standing still.
