FREYA
Adrien's memories were back but his presence here remained unknown, though it had just been a night. It was surreal, the feeling of having him back, and I was in a daze, not fully coming to terms with the idea that all my worries were suddenly figments of my past.
It was freeing in the best way possible and as I lay in bed, bathed in the warm rays of the morning sun, I could not shake the worrisome feeling that though Adrien was back, this was only the start of some terrible things to come.
Our enemy remained unknown, a swirl of smoke shifting around in the shadows, dissipating as soon as we caught on hold.
I was alone in the room, the kiss Adrien left on my forehead a distant and pleasant memory. He would be somewhere with Ishmael, planning the day. A council meeting would be held with their king once again establishing dominance over his kingdom. It was an event I looked forward to.
