Catacombs - Part 2

Jake's body grew heavy, his limbs losing their strength as the pain and exhaustion dragged him under.

His vision blurred, the faint flicker of torchlight melting into shadows—

And then, he fainted completely.

The sensation of being carried was the last thing he felt before his mind sank into the abyss of unconsciousness.

When Jake's eyes slowly opened, he found himself standing.

Not in the catacombs.

Not in a dark, unfamiliar place.

But in Silivia.

Or at least… a version of it.

The streets stretched before him, but they were silent.

Not the usual stillness of an early morning—but an unnatural emptiness.

No people.

No voices.

No sound at all.

The air was thick, pressing against his lungs, making every breath feel heavier.

His heartbeat quickened.

This wasn’t real.

Something was wrong.

Then—the city melted away.

The stone paths faded, and suddenly, he was walking on a plain dirt road.

Not through Silivia.

Not through any city at all.
