Chapter:35

Sasuke glared at Haruto, his voice filled with disbelief and rage.

"There's no way this egg could contain the Uchiha clan's Sharingan!"

Haruto merely smirked, his tone calm yet provocative.

"Nothing is impossible."

His eyes gleamed with amusement as he continued.

"Not just the Sharingan—if luck favors you, you could even obtain the First Hokage's Wood Release cells."

Haruto's words hit Kakashi like a bolt of lightning.

His visible eye widened, and for the first time in a long while, he felt truly shaken.

"Even the First Hokage's Wood Release…?"

His mind raced.

If that were true, it would mean that this shop contained artifacts and abilities beyond comprehension.

Kakashi turned to Asuma.

"Asuma, did you hear that?!"

Asuma took a long drag of his cigarette and exhaled slowly, his expression calm.

"Yeah, I heard."

Compared to yesterday's shock, he was no longer surprised.

After seeing Chōji's transformation, Hinata's Pikachu, and the absurdity of the golden eggs, hearing that even Wood Release was possible no longer felt out of place.

But one thing was certain—this mystery shop and its owner were beyond anything Konoha had ever encountered.

Kakashi's gaze lingered on Haruto, his thoughts deepening.

"Who exactly is this man…?"

By now, everyone had recovered from the Mirror of Erised's effects, and all attention shifted toward the remaining golden ball of light.

Haruto chuckled.

"This one's good!"

He reached into the light and pulled out a scroll, radiating an ancient aura.

Chōji's eyes lit up.

"Oh! A scroll-type item!"

Ino sighed with envy.

"Damn it, Naruto's luck is way too good!"

Naruto scratched his head.

"Eh? Why does it matter if it's a scroll?"

Chōji chomped on his chips, speaking through a full mouth.

"Scroll-type items are permanent ninjutsu. They help increase your strength the most!"

Naruto's eyes sparkled.

"For real?! That's awesome!"

He turned to Haruto, practically bouncing in excitement.

"Hey, boss, is this a strong jutsu?"

Haruto gave a knowing smile.

"Very strong. And… it suits you perfectly."

Before Naruto could ask more, Haruto casually dropped another bombshell statement.

"This jutsu was developed by the Fourth Hokage himself."

Kakashi's entire body tensed.

His fingers clenched slightly, and an old memory surfaced.

Haruto continued, his voice carrying weight.

"It took the Fourth Hokage three years to create this technique. Its power is extraordinary."

"This technique is called… Rasengan!"

A hushed silence fell over the room.

Kakashi's eye trembled slightly.

"Sensei…"

Meanwhile, Naruto tilted his head.

"Rasengan…?

Haruto grinned.

"Basically, there's nothing that can't be solved with one Rasengan. If there is… just hit it with another."

Naruto's eyes widened in excitement.

"I wanna learn it!"

Before anyone could say another word, Naruto ripped open the scroll.

FWOOOSH!

The words on the scroll glowed brightly, transforming into golden streams of energy that shot toward Naruto's forehead.

The instant they merged with his mind, Naruto's entire body stiffened.

A flood of knowledge filled his brain—step-by-step instructions, chakra flow patterns, and the mechanics behind Rasengan's formation.

Haruto snapped his fingers, and a steel puppet appeared in front of everyone.

Kiba grinned excitedly.

"Oh, that ridiculously tough puppet again!"

Haruto gestured.

"Go ahead, Naruto. Test it out."

Naruto nodded vigorously, his chakra whirling violently within him.

He stretched out his hand—

A swirling blue sphere began to take shape, crackling with concentrated chakra.

"Rasengan!"

With all his strength, Naruto slammed the Rasengan into the steel puppet.

BOOM!

A violent explosion shook the room.

When the dust cleared, a gaping hole the size of a fist had been drilled into the puppet.

The edges were razor-sharp, displaying a perfect spiral pattern.

Kiba's jaw dropped.

"No freaking way…!"

He had seen firsthand how ridiculously tough that steel puppet was.

Even if someone stabbed it with a kunai, it wouldn't leave a scratch.

Yet Naruto's Rasengan had pierced through it like paper!

Chōji swallowed hard.

"That power… it's terrifying."

He clenched his fist.

"My Armament Haki wouldn't stand a chance against that."

But then he recalled Haruto's words from yesterday.

"As long as I can obtain the intermediate or advanced versions of Haki, I should be able to resist Rasengan!"

His determination ignited.

Naruto stared at his own hand, still in shock.

"Whoa…"

Then, as if realizing something, he grinned wildly.

He turned to Sakura, Sasuke, and Kiba, pointing at them smugly.

"DID YOU SEE THAT?!"

"I DID THAT! ME! UZUMAKI NARUTO!"

"I'm the strongest Genin now!"

Sakura facepalmed.

Kiba groaned.

Sasuke, however, silently clenched his fists.

His mind raced.

Haruto watched the Uchiha closely, a knowing smirk playing on his lips.

Sure enough—

Sasuke gritted his teeth, then suddenly pulled out a wad of cash.

"Boss… give me ten golden eggs!"

Haruto raised an eyebrow.

"No can do."

Sasuke's eyes narrowed dangerously.

"Why not? I can pay more!"

He pulled out another handful of cash, ready to double the price.

Haruto waved a hand dismissively.

"Each person can only smash three eggs per day. That's the rule."

Sasuke frowned deeply.

"Tch… fine. I'll take three, then. Keep the change."

Haruto snapped his fingers, summoning three golden eggs before him.

Gripping the golden hammer tightly, Sasuke smashed all three eggs at once.

Nine golden orbs floated before him.

Even for someone as cold as Sasuke, his heartbeat quickened.

End of the Chapter.
