Blue's eyes widened as the dark room suddenly became brightly lit. The soldiers lying on the ground fired rifles that turned out to contain flashing paper beads like a party. Everyone laughed as they came up to Blue and addressed him.
"Close the door! Don't let this coward escape the party!" shouted the white-haired man, who was none other than the supreme leader at the headquarters.
Blue laughed behind his invisibility mask. Robots in the shape of musical instruments appeared from behind the walls, playing songs that made the quiet atmosphere turn into one full of excitement. Blue finally took off his mask because the air inside the room did not contain toxins like outside.
The poisonous gas that is still scattered in some areas around the world is a result of the remnants of war. This case had happened before a few years ago. However, the conditions in Blue's time were more alarming. Mutant blood that contaminates the environment has a deadly toxic effect on living things that breathe, drink, or eat it. Blue and the humans who survived must now survive while continuing to work to neutralize the poison so that it does not spread.
Armies around the world are deploying the Iron-Dam, just like the one used by Blue earlier with the Wolfbots, to clean up the remaining carcasses of the Gorogs scattered around the world. Next, the Iron-Dam will be dumped into the crater of an active volcano. Only lava can destroy the Gorog's toxic waste. When cold lava settles in a region, new life emerges, and that's what the humans of the New World era are guarding.
Blue, who was known to be a loner and disliked parties, couldn't escape this time. People were watching his movements and forcing him to stay close. Many female soldiers take advantage of this moment to get close to the handsome man who is considered the hero of the world, continuing the struggle of his father, King D.
As Blue was dancing with a female soldier, suddenly, his memory took him to a memory. Blue was swept away because the dance he was doing, was similar to when he was with a beautiful woman with slender fingers, long eyelashes, and a charming smile.
"Blue? Blue!" someone called out, causing the lieutenant to turn his head. "Are you alright?" asked the white-haired man who was standing next to him.
"Yes, General. What's wrong?" asked Blue, confused, as everyone looked at him sharply. There was silence again, no more excitement.
"Your eyes. Your hair suddenly seemed to emit a bluish glow. Only two things about it, a threat is coming, or ...."
"Blue!" called someone in the distance, which brought the general's speech to an instant halt.
"Red?" called Blue, looking at the well-built, red-haired woman who had just entered the hall.
"Come with me," she invited seriously, which made Blue immediately step out of the party.
"Party's over! Secure the headquarters!" exclaimed the white-haired man with a tense face, who then followed Blue out of the hall.
"Yes, sir!" replied all the soldiers in unison, though there was a look of disappointment on their faces as the party ended so quickly.
They entered a circular door that opened automatically. The moment the red-haired woman's feet stepped on the metal floor, the futuristic atmosphere was immediate. The floor moved automatically, leading them to a solid-looking metal door with no levers or buttons to open it. Blue turned his head and found the general following him on an Oto-fly.
[Welcome, Supreme Leader General Cosmo. Welcome, Lieutenant Blue. Welcome, Major Red. You are allowed to enter], the system said in an adult male voice, which made Blue smile slightly as he recognized it.
The three of them stood at a metal door, which opened when the system allowed it. However, the door turned out to have many layers of steel. Blue and the others waited and remained focused until a white door opened.
A large, futuristic room welcomed the three guests. There were several spherical robots, metallic blue in color, working like officers in the control center. The robots hang from the roof of the room. A pole moves them so that they move freely in the modern-looking room without touching the ground. The robots' two hands have three fingers, and their eyes are cameras that move freely within the layers of the sphere.
"General, Lieutenant, Major," greeted a black man, tall and bulky, with dreadlocks pulled up like a coconut tree and dressed in all white. He approached his important guests and raised his right fist in a respectful salute.
Blue and the others returned the salute with similar gestures and head nods.
"I've told you a thousand times, don't call me Major," said Red.
"And don't call me Lieutenant," chimed in Blue.
"Okay," replied the man in white, looking tense.
"Beta. Is this an emergency?" asked Blue as the man in charge of the headquarters control room pointed to a large screen on the wall of the room.
Blue's brow furrowed instantly. The satellite image showed a figure hiding behind the ruins of the Star State's outermost gate. Blue stared at Beta intently, trying to make sense of the image.
"He called and asked to speak to you. Unfortunately, the signal in this place is not very strong because it is blocked by signal blockers that are still installed in some areas," Red confirmed.
"How many times has this person called? What does he want?" General Cosmo asked suspiciously. Blue looked at the general. He realized that the old man had just found out about it too.
"That's what we're waiting for. He said the same words over and over again. 'I want to talk to Blue! I have to talk to him now, or I'll die!' Yeah, that's it," Beta replied, making Blue's brow furrow.
"It must be a robot. If it were human, it wouldn't be repeating the same sentence over and over again. This must be a trap! It's been deliberately set up to contact you when our best lieutenant is home. Ignore it!" The general ordered, making Red's and Beta's faces tense.
Just as Blue agreed with the general's words and turned away, the sound of a call came into the control room. Everyone's eyes were instantly drawn to the satellite feed where the signal was coming from the figure behind the ruins.
"He's calling again," Red said as her eyes sharpened to a red color.
"Leave it alone. He must be a robot," said General Cosmo. Blue remained serious as he watched the movement of the tiny figure radiating red from his body temperature. "Blue!" called Cosmo, stunned that Blue was ignoring his orders and pressing the accept button on the large screen.
"Huh, huh, hello? Hello?" called someone who made everyone's forehead furrow.
"Why does it sound like a child? Just now...," Red said, hanging up.
"Who are you? I'll give you one minute," Blue said sternly, his eyes fixed on the movement of the human-like figure captured by the satellite.
"I just want to talk to my father! I want to talk to Blue! Don't you understand?" The girl's voice replied, shocking the audience.
"What did she say?" asked Red, staring intently at her twin brother.
Blue's heart was pounding. He didn't know what to say.
"Call Blue quickly! If not, I'll die! There's no time!" The little girl shouted as suddenly she moved away from the spot where she had called. The eyes of the people in the control room followed her movements.
"GIGA! Lock onto the target that's calling the base! Follow her movements and get a close-up visual!" ordered Blue, which made everyone's faces tense up instantly.
[Order received. Initiating lockdown. Target identified]
Red immediately step closer, as well as Beta and the General.
"She's human. She's a little girl," Red said when she saw the girl from GIGA's capture.
"The person who called was a man. Why...?" said Beta in confusion.
This time, Blue seemed confident in his decision. He asked GIGA to secure the call so that it would not be intercepted by outsiders.
"I'm Blue. Who are you?" Blue asked, causing everyone in the control room to fall silent.
