In the room where Blue stayed during his time at the New-US Headquarters.
Red came to her brother's room. The athletic woman was silent, watching Blue as he prepared himself for another adventure. Although this time, he did not bring troops because it was not a state duty. The pony tailed redhead sat on the edge of the bed looking uncharacteristically lethargic.
"I'm leaving," Blue said, to which Red nodded. But, Blue could sense something strange in his sister. They were always together. For the first time, he saw Red let him go. Not giving him a hug or a word of advice for him when he was out there. "What's wrong?"
"Hem? Nothing. What were you thinking?" Red replied with a lazy face.
"I should be the one asking. What were you thinking about?" asked Blue suspiciously which made Red immediately stand up and hug him.
"Is it some kind of ritual that I have to hug you and give you a long speech?" asked Red which made Blue chuckle in amusement because he didn't expect his sister to understand his thoughts. "My message is only one. Don't die," said Red who always wore sleeveless shirts as she released the hug.
"Hem, that's something new. I'll remember it well," Blue replied with a smile and Red returned it with the same.
Red escorted Blue to the main lobby of the headquarters. Who would have thought, if the troops under Blue's command were already standing there. Red stopped, knowing that Blue wanted to talk to his comrades before leaving.
"I heard you're going up against the Morons, Blue. They're crazy!" a blond-haired man screeched in a stifled voice.
"Yeah, I know," Blue replied casually. However, the man in front of him seemed annoyed by his answer just now.
"We're coming with you. It's dangerous out there. Even though we have allies, what you're doing is a personal matter, not a state matter," said a bald man who had approached.
"Since it's personal, I forbid you to come with me," Blue said, making the faces of the ten people in the group sour instantly. "I'm leaving," he added and strode off, followed by a small black suitcase flying behind him.
"You'll regret not taking us!" shouted the man in black in the distance.
"I'll regret it even more if you die because of me! Bye!" exclaimed Blue as he boarded the Oto-fly like the one used by General Cosmo.
The small suitcase that followed automatically attached itself to Blue's back, who was wearing a metal protective vest.
Blue equipped himself with the equipment his father had left behind from his ancestors. Red stared at Blue as he left the headquarters wearing a special suit to keep him protected from the dangers of contamination. Blue was only allowed to use personal gear due to working on personal business. Blue left New-US for Great Mazepita, a country formed by the Great Ruler on the Asian continent.
Blue, who is in the Americas, must cross several cities and countries to meet Carla Aurora, who he believes is his biological daughter. The hot night he had with Orla nine years ago convinced him that the woman who became his first love was pregnant when he left her while on assignment at Russ-King.
What Blue doesn't understand is why Orla didn't contact him if she was pregnant with their baby. However, Blue did not blame the beautiful woman. Considering that at that time, the world was in chaos because of the attack of mutant humans nicknamed Gorog.
After Blue left.
Red quietly left the headquarters to the city center where the New-US government was located. Beta, who knew of Red's departure without asking the General's permission, deliberately kept it a secret from the people.
He realized that the old man did not agree with Blue's plan. However, the people who are members of Blue's army, have known Red's plan because they have the same understanding.
New-US Presidential Palace. Downtown, Black Sapphire District.
"You didn't get permission before, Red," the receptionist said when Red asked to see the President.
"I know. But don't forget that I have special rights to see the president," she said firmly.
Red glanced to her right and left as two huge three meter tall robots stood flanking her. They were human shaped. They had large hands and could form a cage to hold anyone who was considered a threat to the place.
"You should also not forget, that right only applies if the country's condition is threatened. However, I haven't heard any news that New-US is in critical condition. Don't infringe on your rights, Red," the stern blonde receptionist said, giving her interlocutor a sharp look.
"Red!" someone called in the distance which made the well-built woman turn her head.
Instantly, Red's smile grew. The man she was looking for appeared and greeted her with a handshake. The blonde receptionist's face turned sour instantly as her efforts failed to get Red away from the President who had a busy schedule.
"You came all the way from the contamination area to see me. Right?" the President asked as he shook hands.
"Your intuition is spot on, Mr. President. There is an important matter that I consider could pose a threat to the country if not immediately anticipated," she replied with emphasis as she shook hands.
The President's face turned serious. He nodded his understanding and asked the officials walking behind him to immediately return to their respective rooms. Red was invited to enter a special room located underground, just below the President's main office.
"Delta! Secure the bunker!" the President ordered.
"Understood, Sir," replies the receptionist, who doubles as the president's security officer when in his office.
The President's special bunker.
"Details," the President asked seriously as the two of them sat down on a comfortable-looking crescent-shaped chair named RC or robot chair.
It hovers above the floor surface. The white-colored object can move freely, down and up the stairs. But, the chair was only meant for indoors. Only Red and the President are in the room.
The bunker has been equipped with a state-of-the-art security system that can analyze threats from unarmed visitors. Disabling weapons such as tranquilizer shots, stun shots and iron nets are considered sufficient to protect the President even alone.
"Blue is leaving New-US for Great Mazepita. Personal mission," Red replied matter-of-factly which made the 40-year-old man tense up instantly.
"What's the mission?" the President asked, looking at Red sharply.
"There's a mysterious caller. GIGA picked up the signal. The girl claimed to be Carla Aurora, the daughter of Orla Aurora. Perhaps, you have heard of that woman?"
The President immediately leaned back with his head nodding. Yes, he knew who Orla Aurora was. That beautiful woman, was Blue's lover when the blue-eyed man served in Russ-King. However, the President did not think that the relationship would become complicated like this.
"So?"
"Orla was kidnapped by the Moron army. The shocking news is that they're hunting Carla because the little girl has special abilities like Blue. The Morons, want her power," replied Red which made the President's face serious instantly.
