Chapter 126

"If Father and Mother ask again, just tell them to rest assured. I still have my limits and principles," Kuki Shinobu said.

"Sigh…" Miyuki sighed. "You, just be careful. I won't say much more. After all, you even got a Vision after leaving the shrine. I can't really argue with that."

"I'll handle things with our parents," Miyuki pinched Shinobu's cheek, and the two walked into the storage room.

Miyuki retrieved the Sacred Sakura petals Shinobu needed.

"Then I won't disturb you and brother-in-law anymore," Shinobu said, waving her hand after getting what she needed. "Sister, I'll head off now."

"Go on, go on," Miyuki nodded, watching her sister leave.

When Miyuki returned to the kitchen, she found that Akio had already prepared a lot of delicious food, neatly plated.

"Shinobu's gone?" Akio asked, noticing Shinobu wasn't there. "I wanted to invite her to eat."

"Yes, she still has tasks to complete," Miyuki nodded, then asked curiously, "Lord Akio, where did all this food come from? Didn't it get burnt earlier?"

"I have a little thing called the Magical Kitchen. It can take ingredients and automatically turn them into delicious dishes," Akio explained with a smile.

"I see…" Miyuki visibly became a little downcast. She loved cooking for Akio, but with this Magical Kitchen, would he still need her?

"I don't usually use this thing," Akio said with a smile. "When Miyuki's around, I only eat the food she makes! It's much better than anything this Magical Kitchen can produce."

"Miyuki, I'm entrusting my future meals to you," Akio said with a grin.

"Alright! Leave it to me!" Miyuki said happily. Being needed by Akio was what made her happiest.

"Lord Akio…" Miyuki looked at Akio, wanting to say something.

"Still calling me Lord Akio?" Akio smiled teasingly.

"Mmm… I think it's still intimate, but the meaning is different now," Miyuki said shyly. "I want to call you Lord Akio~"

"Then it's up to you," Akio said with a smile.

"Oh, by the way, Miyuki, come here," Akio said.

Miyuki quickly walked over to Akio, who held out a golden diamond-shaped gem.

"What's this?" Miyuki asked curiously, looking at the golden gem.

"Miyuki, if you accept this, you'll be bound to me for life. Can you accept that?" Akio asked seriously.

"Of course!" Miyuki nodded earnestly. "Even without this, I would serve by your side for the rest of my life, until I no longer have the strength to do so."

"With this, you won't have to worry about those issues anymore. You'll be able to stay by my side forever, for centuries or even millennia," Akio said with a smile.

"This is a Pseudo-Herrscher Core of the Herrscher of the Void, similar to my powers," Akio explained. "With it, you'll gain power beyond that of a Vision holder and the ability to manipulate space."

"I… can have this too?" Miyuki's eyes widened. She didn't know much about manipulating space, nor did she particularly seek power. All she wanted was to stay by Akio's side forever. If this could make that happen, she was more than willing to accept.

"Of course," Akio said, merging the Pseudo-Core into Miyuki's body. As a Pseudo-Herrscher Core of the Void, it possessed almost all the abilities of the Herrscher of the Void, though its energy level was only A-rank.

A surge of Herrscher power flowed through Miyuki's body, enhancing and perfecting her in every way.

Soon, Miyuki's transformation was complete. Now, she could be considered a minor Herrscher of the Void. While her strength didn't match that of an Archon, her ability to manipulate space meant that, as long as she wasn't facing the most powerful Archons, no one could harm her.

"So powerful!" Miyuki said, a spear made of spatial energy appearing in her hand, similar to a Subspace Lance but not as powerful.

"There are many ways to use spatial powers. I'll teach you everything in due time," Akio said with a smile. Miyuki's abilities were the most similar to his, so he was naturally the best person to teach her.

"Let's call Himeko over. It's time to eat," Akio said.

"Alright," Miyuki nodded. She immediately sensed that Murata Himeko was admiring the cherry blossoms under a tree nearby.

With just a thought, her figure disappeared from the spot and reappeared beside Himeko.

"Ah!" Miyuki hadn't quite gotten used to teleportation yet. She looked at Himeko.

Pseudo-Cores could sense each other, and she could clearly feel the Pseudo-Herrscher Core of the of Flamescion within Himeko.

"Sister Himeko, are you also a Pseudo-Herrscher?" Miyuki asked curiously.

"I didn't expect Akio to give you the Herrscher Core of the Void," Himeko said, sensing the spatial power within Miyuki. "Yes! Herrscher Cores are the fastest way to grant power, and they're also the means for us to survive in this world."

"Mm, then let's stay by Lord Akio's side together," Miyuki said with a smile.

"Oh? It seems Akio has already won you over?" Himeko stood up, smiling as she walked with Miyuki toward the kitchen.

"I've always been Lord Akio's!" Miyuki said earnestly.

"Hahaha! What a lovely girl," Himeko laughed heartily.

"Wow! So much delicious food?" Himeko exclaimed, looking at the table full of dishes.

Then she turned to Akio and asked, "Akio, do you have any wine?"

"Of course," Akio nodded, looking at Miyuki.

"Alright! Lord Akio, Sister Himeko, please wait a moment," Miyuki got up and fetched two jars of fine wine.

"Mm! The aroma is amazing! This is good wine!" Himeko's eyes lit up. The fragrance of the wine was truly wonderful! And no one was stopping her from drinking as much as she wanted!

In her previous world, Theresa wouldn't let her drink, saying it was bad for her health. Didn't she know that? Only by getting drunk could she temporarily forget the excruciating pain caused by her artificial stigma.

"Today, I'm going to drink until I'm completely drunk!" Himeko declared boldly.

"Then we'll keep you company," Akio and Miyuki exchanged a glance and nodded.

"Hahaha! Cheers~" Himeko raised her glass with a laugh.

The three sat at the table, with Akio and Miyuki joining Himeko in her drinking spree.

This drinking session felt like a celebration, as if Himeko had finally let go of all the burdens she had carried for so long!

She felt an unprecedented sense of relaxation and joy.
