Archbishop of Sloth

Meanwhile in a different place, Shaule and Halibal around there neck was a piece of the Rubkis Cube Subaru gave them even do they don't know why he gave them this, as were looking down with members of the Witch's Cult, as they were looking at large groups of people, as they narrow there eyes

Shaule spoke to Halibal. "This is bigger then Normal".

Halibal spoke looking down. "Yeah no shit, they are planning something let's get out of here and tell Bo-"

Halibal then shadow like arms coming for Shaule as rushed and cut them half, as Shaule saw it as well the hands were cut, but the other members count see them, as they heard a voice

",hahah, why isn't this interesting you can see my hand, you two must be one us..... No you don't smell like us".

They turn there head too see, a thin man who stood at 180 centimeters tall, slightly taller than Subaru. His cheeks were gaunt and the skin on his bones was unusually thin. If it weren't for the twinkle of madness in his grey eyes, the Sin Archbishop would appear completely devoid of vitality. His complexion and lips, mirroring the rest of his figure, were deathly pale and had a sickly green tint to them. Sloth's deep-green hair was fairly short but still long enough to catch someone's eye. Despite his madness and general lack of social decorum, his hair was stylised neatly into a bowl cut. In the anime adaptation, His eyes were black instead of grey.

[Insert image of Petelgeuse]

Halibal looked at him as he spoken. "An archbishop huh, as we haven't delt with you before".

Petelgeuse laughed looking at but. "Oh I am not as weak as lust".

Shaule tightened her grip on her weapons, eyes locked onto Petelgeuse. "So you admit Lust was weak, huh?"

Petelgeuse tilted his head, his grin widening unnaturally. "Oh, my dear, dear sister, do not misunderstand. Lust was valuable in their own way. But I, Petelgeuse Romanee-Conti, am the most devoted among us! The most faithful! My love for the Witch surpasses all!"

Halibal rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah, you're crazy. We get it." He adjusted his stance. "You should've just let us leave. Now we gotta kill you."

Petelgeuse let out a shriek of laughter. "Ohhh, my dear, ignorant lambs! You think you can kill me?" He raised his hand, and dozens of invisible hands burst from the ground, reaching for Halibal and Shaule.

But this time, the Rubik's Cube pieces around their necks glowed.

The unseen hands faltered.

Petelgeuse's manic expression twisted in confusion. "What...?"

Shaule wasted no time. She lunged forward, slicing through the air where the hands had been. Petelgeuse leapt back, his movements jerky, as if his body wasn't fully under his own control.

Halibal grinned. "Looks like our boss gave us some handy anti-Witch Cult gear." He cracked his knuckles. "Which means, Archbishop, you're screwed."

Petelgeuse snarled, his amusement vanishing. "Blasphemers! You dare defy the will of the Witch?!" His body trembled violently, and more hands erupted around him—hundreds, no, thousands—stretching and warping unnaturally.

Shaule and Halibal glanced at each other.

Shaule sighed. "You take the right, I take the left?"

Halibal smirked. "Yeah, let's make it quick."

And with that, the fight truly began.

Shaule's eyes glinted as she charged forward, her weapons slicing through the air with lethal precision. The hands reaching for her were torn apart with each swing, vanishing into nothingness before they could even touch her. But Petelgeuse's twisted laughter filled the air, growing louder and more disturbing with every passing second.

"You think you can stop me?" Petelgeuse cackled, his voice like a twisted melody. "I am the will of the Witch! I am her chosen!

Halibal grinned, his aura darkening as his shadow expanded unnaturally. "Yeah, you keep saying that. But this is gonna be your last performance."

He slammed his hand down onto the ground, summoning his shadow manipulation to stretch across the battlefield, trapping the Archbishop in a labyrinth of darkness. The shadowy tendrils wrapped around Petelgeuse's limbs, pulling him into place. The mad Archbishop's eyes widened, and he struggled against the dark matter, but the more he fought, the tighter it became.

"Impossible!" Petelgeuse howled. "No one can control me! Not even you—!"

But before he could finish, Shaule appeared from the other side, slashing through the dark air with a burst of energy that cracked the ground beneath her feet. The slash connected with Petelgeuse's chest, sending him stumbling backward. His pale skin rippled like water, and his form seemed to shimmer and blur as if the very air around him was reacting to his presence.

"Die," Shaule muttered under her breath as she prepared for another strike.

But before they could finish him off, Petelgeuse's form morphed. His limbs contorted in grotesque angles, his body twisting into an unnatural, even more terrifying shape. His once serene, if not manic, expression was now replaced by a twisted sneer of fury. His voice dropped to a whisper, barely audible above the growing chaos around them.

"No one... no one escapes my love for her..."

Then, with an explosive burst of power, Petelgeuse's body erupted into a torrent of invisible hands, swarming like a tidal wave. The hands surrounded Shaule and Halibal, overwhelming them in sheer numbers, pushing them back, forcing them to fight tooth and nail to keep from being consumed. But the more they struck, the more the hands multiplied, surrounding them in a suffocating grip.

Shaule cursed under her breath, her breath ragged as she sliced through another wave of hands, but she was losing ground. "This guy..."

Halibal grunted, launching an energy-based attack to destroy some of the hands, but they only seemed to multiply faster. The more he fought, the more they came. He turned to Shaule. "We can't keep this up forever. We need a plan!"

Shaule glanced at him, her expression grim. "You're telling me? Keep your focus. We have to force him into a corner."

"Alright, you handle the hands. I'll deal with him," Halibal said, and his shadowy tendrils grew more aggressive, flickering like flames as they surged forward.

With a new burst of energy, Halibal flung his arm forward, summoning more tendrils that latched onto the invisible hands, ripping them apart as he moved toward Petelgeuse. The Archbishop's wild eyes narrowed, sensing the danger, but it was too late. Halibal was already there.

He formed a blade of shadows and plunged it into Petelgeuse's chest, tearing through his form with brutal efficiency. Petelgeuse gasped, his body distorting and unraveling like a marionette with its strings cut. He let out a sickly scream, his body flickering, disappearing, and reappearing with a sickening lurch. It was clear his regeneration was failing.

"No... No! I am the Witch's chosen!" Petelgeuse shrieked, his body twitching uncontrollably. "She will never abandon me!"

But in his madness, he didn't notice the final attack coming.

With a powerful slash, Shaule cut through the remnants of Petelgeuse's form, slicing off the last of the Archbishop's influence. The twisted figure fell to the ground, its limbs disintegrating into nothingness, leaving only a faint green mist behind.

Shaule exhaled, wiping the sweat from her brow as she looked down at the fallen enemy. "That was too close."

Halibal nodded, his body shaking from the exertion. "Yeah... But it's done. Petelgeuse is gone."

They both stood there for a moment, catching their breath, but it was clear that the calm was only temporary. The Witch's Cult would be on alert. And the looming presence of the Witch's hand still lingered in the shadows.

Shaule glanced at the piece of the Rubik's Cube hanging around her neck, the soft glow pulsing gently. "Subaru... You have no idea how much you're dragging us into."

But they both knew one thing—this war was far from over.

Then they saw more hands, as they cut, they saw another Witch's Cult Member, but he spoke in Petelgeuse voice. "You think it was that easy too stop me".

Halibal looked at him as he spoke. "You have too be shitting me, he can transfer body".

Shaule looked him as she spoke. "Yeah, but how many times do we need too kill him".

Then both the Witch Cult and Witch's Hand heard as the rooftop was blasted open, as they saw the white whale, everyone's face dropped.

The air was filled with a deafening roar as the White Whale descended upon them, its massive body blotting out the moonlight. Dust and debris scattered from the collapsed rooftop, and the oppressive presence of the Demon Beast sent waves of fear through both the Witch's Cult and the Witch's Hand alike.

Shaule's heart pounded. This wasn't just any threat—it was a disaster.

"Drop everything and RUN!" she repeated, her voice carrying urgency.

Petelgeuse, for all his madness, was no fool either. His twisted grin had vanished, replaced by something almost human—fear. "ESCAPE!" he shrieked, his new body trembling.

The White Whale let out another chilling roar, its glowing red eyes scanning the battlefield. Then, without hesitation, it moved.

It was fast. Too fast.

One of the Witch's Cultists turned to run but didn't even get the chance to take two steps before a massive gust of wind struck them. Their body vanished. No blood, no scream—just gone. As if they had never existed.

Shaule felt a cold sweat trickle down her back. "That thing isn't just here to fight—it's here to erase us."

Halibal clenched his fists, frustration evident on his face. "Dammit, this wasn't supposed to happen. The Cult had something planned, but I doubt even they wanted this!"

The cultists panicked, scattering in all directions. Petelgeuse, despite his usual delusions, was already backing away, whispering to himself frantically. "No... No... I cannot disappear... She will not remember me... I cannot be forgotten... I cannot—!!"

But his words were cut off as the White Whale turned directly toward him.

Its gaping maw opened wide, an eerie glow forming in its throat. The very air around them trembled. Something big was coming.

Shaule gritted her teeth. "We don't have time for this! MOVE!"

She grabbed Halibal by the arm, and they both dove out of the building, landing roughly in the forest below. The ground shook violently as the White Whale unleashed its devastating attack.

A massive beam of pure destruction tore through the sky, swallowing the Witch's Cult members in its path. In an instant, half of the battlefield vanished—people, structures, even the ground itself, wiped from existence as if they had never been there.

Halibal looked back, his eyes wide. "Shit! That's not just an attack—it's erasing everything in its way!"

Shaule pulled herself up. "We need to get out of here before it targets us next!"

They could still hear Petelgeuse screaming, his voice filled with madness and desperation. "NOOOOO! I CANNOT BE ERASED! SHE MUST REMEMBER ME!"

But his pleas meant nothing to the beast.

With another deafening roar, the White Whale lunged.

A sudden explosion of wind and mist engulfed the area. And just like that—

Petelgeuse was gone.

Few hourse later, With the Witch's Cult Petelgeuse came back in a different body

Petelgeuse laughed in fear as he looked at him group. "I managed too change body in the last second".

Meanwhile with the Witch's Hand, Halibal and Shaule were now in the 5th base of Witch's Hand as they took a deep breath.

Shaule looked a Halibal as she spoken. "Start Writing a letter too Subaru, this is not good for anyone".

Halibal nodded, still catching his breath. The encounter with the White Whale had been far too close. If they hadn't escaped in time… He shook his head. No point in thinking about that now.

He grabbed a piece of parchment and ink, quickly writing down the details:

The Witch's Cult was gathering in large numbers, planning something massive.

Petelgeuse could transfer bodies upon death, making him much harder to eliminate.

The White Whale appeared unexpectedly and attacked both sides indiscriminately.

The Whale's attack didn't just kill—it erased people from existence.

Petelgeuse barely survived by switching bodies at the last second.

Shaule crossed her arms, deep in thought. "Something isn't right, Halibal. The Cult wouldn't intentionally summon the White Whale into their own ranks. That thing doesn't discriminate—it sees everything as prey."

Halibal finished the letter, sealing it with the emblem of the Witch's Hand. "You think someone else is pulling the strings?"

Shaule exhaled sharply. "Maybe. Or maybe the Cult bit off more than they could chew. Either way, Subaru needs to know."

Halibal called over one of their trusted messengers. "Get this to Subaru—now."

The messenger saluted, taking the letter and vanishing into the night.

As the silence settled in, Halibal turned to Shaule. "…Think he's gonna be pissed?"

Shaule scoffed. "Subaru? Pissed? Oh, absolutely."

Halibal chuckled. "Yeah… figures."

They both looked up at the night sky, knowing that whatever storm was coming next—they'd all be caught in it.
