New power

"Let me show you an example of how to make bricks, Vix. We'll use a simple method,"

they walked toward the riverbank.

Kai and Vix stopped near the river, and Kai touched the soil to search for clay.

"We need to find clay that's perfect for making bricks," Kai explained.

He picked up a lump of clay and rolled it into a small ball.

"If it holds its shape without cracking, it's suitable for bricks," while showing the ball to Vix.

Next, he removed any impurities like stones, sticks, or debris from the clay.

After that, he found some sand and explained to Vix, "This is to prevent the bricks from cracking when they dry. Just use a ratio of 3:1—three parts clay to one part sand."

Kai gradually added water to the clay and sand mixture, stirring it until it reached a dough-like consistency. It was pliable but not too sticky.

"Now, we need to create a mold," He carved a rectangular mold out of wood, making it about 20 cm x 10 cm x 5 cm—the standard size for bricks.

He pressed the clay mixture into the mold, smoothing the surface with his hands. Once the mold was filled, he carefully removed it, leaving behind a perfectly shaped brick.

"Lastly, you need to place the bricks on a flat, sunny surface to dry. Turn them occasionally to ensure they dry evenly,"

He also added, "Protect the bricks from rain using leaves or a makeshift roof. Depending on the weather, the bricks may take 3-7 days to dry completely."

Vix watched closely, nodding as he absorbed the process. "This is amazing. With this, we can start building proper shelters and maybe even a small village."

Although it is still far from building a village, but not wanting to dampen the mood.

"Exactly. Once we have enough bricks, we can start constructing something more permanent. For now, let's focus on making as many bricks as we can."

Kai handed a brick to Vix.

"Now, try using your power on this brick. I just want to see how your power works," Kai said, curious.

Vix nodded and focused. Suddenly, his hands began to glow, and the brick started to melt like lava. The heat radiating from his hands was intense, far beyond Kai's expectations.

Kai's eyes widened in amazement. "Whoa! That's incredible! Your power is like a living furnace!"

Vix explained, "My body undergoes combustion—exothermic oxidation. It releases heat and light. Essentially, my body acts as fuel, and when combined with oxygen, it produces energy in the form of heat and light."

He broke it down further:

Me + Oxygen = Carbon Dioxide + Water + Heat and Light

"But my weakness is that it burns everything to ashes," Vix explained, looking a bit frustrated.

Kai, who understood what he meant, immediately thought of a solution.

"Your power is a gift from this world, but you just need to control it—like how fire works in our world. For example, we use methane in our homes for cooking and heating. Methane combustion is a controlled reaction where methane reacts with oxygen to produce carbon dioxide, water, and energy in the form of heat and light."

Kai simplified it for Vix:

CH4 + 2O2 = CO2 + 2H2O + Energy

"Methane is the main component of natural gas and is widely used as fuel. If we can find a natural source of methane here, we can use it to control your power and make it more efficient."

Kai then explained how to find methane:

1. In Watery Areas : Look for bubbles rising to the surface in watery areas. These bubbles could be methane released from the bottom. You can collect this gas using a container and test it with a flame (carefully).

2. *In Wet and Muddy Soil : Methane is often produced in wet, muddy areas with organic waste. Dig into the soil and check for gas emissions.

Vix nodded, starting to understand. "So, if we find methane, I can use it to control my power and prevent everything from burning to ashes?"

"Exactly," Kai said with a grin. " Once we find it, we can refine your power and use it more effectively."

Vix was impressed with kai explaination even he was still young but he knowledge and power of this was beyond human thinking .

A while later, Rose, Kit, and Kat returned from their walk.

Rose, with a mischievous look on her face, gave Kit a hint about something she had taught her earlier.

Without warning, Kit placed both hands at her side, bent her knees slightly, and started murmuring something.

"Kameeehameeehaaa!!!" She swung her hands forward, releasing a whirlwind of energy that hit Kai, sending him flying backward.

Kai, mid-air, glared at Rose and showed her his middle finger.

"Fuck you, bitch !" he shouted.

Rose, feeling smug, then gave Kat a hint. This time, Kat stomped her foot on the ground, causing the soil to rise and float. She aimed her hand at Kai, and the soil flew toward him, burying him under a pile of dirt.

Rose gave both girls a high-five, laughing.

"Feel that? Hahahaha!"

Vix shook his head, watching his daughters' antics.

As usual, Kai easily removed the dirt and, this time, quickly ran toward Kit and Kat, catching both of them.

"You two lose... I've got you now!"

"Don't teach them weird things, Rose," Kai scolded.

Rose pretended to look away innocently.

"I just wanted to show you their powers," she said, trying to defend herself.

Kai, annoyed by his sister's behavior, retorted, "You could've shown me without aiming at me, you sh**!"

Rose just smirked, clearly enjoying herself, while Kit and Kat giggled in Kai's arms. Vix couldn't help but chuckle at the chaotic but heartwarming scene.

"Should we eat now?"

Vix then invited everyone to have lunch.

Kai, as usual, was deep in thought, staring at Kit and Kat's powers. As a lazy person, he was determined to find a way to make the most of the kids' abilities.

Rose and Vix, noticing Kai's creepy smile, quickly grabbed Kit and Kat and ran toward the vegetable garden.

"Let's go, kids! Your uncle Kai is planning something weird again!" Rose said, half-joking.

Kit and Kat giggled as they were carried away, leaving Kai behind, still lost in his thoughts.

Kai snapped out of it and called after them, "Hey! I wasn't going to do anything bad! I just had a great idea!"

But they were already gone, leaving Kai to shake his head and mutter, "Fine, I'll figure it out later."

He then joined them for lunch, still brainstorming ways to harness the kids' powers for their growing community.
