After noticing this, he was somewhat surprised. This guy, he's only level one, how can he eat so much? After thinking for a moment, he tore off a large chunk of meat from the wild boar carcass. This piece of meat was almost as big as a wild boar's leg. Then, in front of Gobro, Cobra ate the entire chunk of meat.
Gobro stared at him in shock. His appetite... it was almost on par with his own.
"Are you full?"
"Yes, yes, I'm full." Cobra quickly nodded. In fact, he wasn't full yet, but he felt that if he said he wasn't full, Gobro would probably hit him again.
"Really full?"
"Really..." As he spoke, he glanced at the remaining wild boar meat in Gobro's hand and swallowed.
Seeing that look, Gobro knew at once that this guy wasn't full yet. He directly handed over the last leg of the wild boar. "Keep eating! Finish it if you can."
Hearing Gobro's words, Cobra was about to snatch it, but then he remembered that slap and slowly took the meat from Gobro's hand, before beginning to eat it in big bites.
Seeing this scene, Gobro was very satisfied. He could still be taught well. Not bad.
Before long, Cobra had finished the remaining meat, his stomach bulging noticeably.
"Burp~"
"Are you full this time?"
"I'm full, really full." Cobra answered quickly. This time, he wasn't lying; he really was full.
After confirming that Cobra wasn't lying, Gobro felt a bit surprised. This guy, though much smaller than him, only had a slightly smaller appetite. Could Cobra have some special bloodline?
Even if there was no special bloodline, just the fact that this guy could eat more than a normal goblin meant he was stronger than a regular goblin. After all, based on that devour skill, the more monster meat he ate, the faster his strength would increase.
"How does it feel to be full?" Gobro asked.
"It feels great, so comfortable, I've never felt this good before."
"Glad to hear that. From now on, follow me and don't tell anyone about what we do. I'll make sure you're always full."
Hearing Gobro's promise, Cobra quickly nodded, his heart already set on Gobro. Even though Gobro hit him, he also made sure he ate enough, and he loved the feeling of being full. As long as he could eat his fill, he would do whatever Gobro said from now on.
Although he was full now, Gobro had no intention of giving up hunting. His strength was still too weak, and he needed to simulate as much as possible to improve his abilities.
However, before that, he needed to recruit some subordinates, as the corpses of the beasts couldn't be wasted.
Thinking this, he said to the Gobra behind him, "Let's go back."
"Okay."
Soon, the two returned to the camp, back to the original cave. Gobro noticed that 90% of the goblins were sleeping, and the remaining 10% were staring into space. None of them were training. Upon seeing this, Gobro quickly realized the reason. After all, these goblins had only recently been born. Although they were born with the ability to speak the monster language, no one had taught them anything else, and they acted purely on instinct.
Seeing these goblins in such a dispirited state, Gobro suddenly felt grateful that he was from the modern world and understood the principle that hard work leads to rewards.
After entering the cave, a few goblins who were staring into space glanced at them and quickly withdrew their gazes. Gobro began carefully selecting his future subordinates. The cave was very dark, but this environment didn't affect the goblins' vision, so Gobro could see clearly.
His selection rule was simple—he would choose those who seemed dumb and easy to deceive. However, when he looked around, he realized that every face looked equally foolish, making it hard to decide. Just as he was about to pick a couple of them randomly, he heard a noise behind him. He sensed something and turned to look. The sound was coming from the direction of the ogre cave, and it seemed like the ogre was getting up. Gobro quickly signaled Gobra, and the two of them rushed to hide.
Luckily, the ogre wasn't quick to get up, and by the time it fully stood, Gobro and Gobra had already hidden. As the ogre got up, it walked straight toward the goblin cave, just as they had expected.
Gobro, hidden in the shadows, was curious about what the ogre was going to do. Then, the ogre let out a furious roar at the goblin cave. Immediately, all the goblins were startled awake. A few of the largest goblins quickly ran out of the cave, and upon seeing this, the other goblins followed suit.
Seeing the terrified expressions on the goblins' faces, the ogre couldn't hide a smug smile in the corner of its eyes. It seemed to enjoy the frightened and comical appearance of the goblins. Then, the ogre punched the smallest goblins a few times, crushing them into the ground. The sight of blood and gore shocked many of the goblins.
Gobro, hidden in the dark, was also surprised by the ogre's strength. The ogre's power was so terrifying that a single punch could crush a goblin. Although he didn't know the exact strength, it had to be at least level 10 or higher.
The ogre shouted, "A bunch of useless creatures! How are you hunting? The food supply is getting lower. If you send me this little food again next time, this will be your fate!" It pointed at the crushed goblins.
The goblins were all terrified by the ogre's words. The pressure it placed on them was overwhelming. After showing off in front of the goblins, the ogre was satisfied to see them too frightened to look up and left.
Gobro, witnessing this, was more determined than ever to eliminate this ogre and become the leader. He didn't want to live in such danger every day.
But now, he changed his plan. Let the meat be wasted; he would skip recruiting the goblins for now and focus on secretly improving his strength. As long as he was careful, he shouldn't be noticed.
"Gobra, let's go, we'll continue hunting."
"Okay."
Although Gobra was already full, he didn't dare defy Gobro's orders.
The two of them returned to their usual hunting grounds. After spending so much time here, Gobro understood why, even after seven whole years, no humans had discovered this place in the simulation world.
The goblins' territory was located in a vast valley. The entrance to the valley was blocked by a large patch of vines. These vines had grown so naturally that, unless one looked very carefully, it was impossible to find the entrance to the valley.
