Chapter 29: Dark Demon's Arithmetic Classroom

Chapter 29: Dark Demon's Arithmetic Classroom

Dark was dumbfounded when he received the notification.

He read it several times repeatedly, and finally confirmed that the notification did indeed have his name on it!

"What on earth is Professor Lily up to?"

There was a 30-minute break between the end of the dueling class and the start of the arithmetic class.

Dark hurried to Professor Lily's office to verify.

The office door was not locked, and it was very quiet inside.

Dark knocked lightly a few times, then pushed the door open a crack.

Instantly, a strong stench of alcohol, as if finally finding a vent, surged out from the crack of the door, almost suffocating a person!

"Ugh."

Dark covered his nose, mustered his courage, and pushed open the office door at the risk of his life!

He saw that the desk, which was usually used to place books, assignments, pencil cases, and other items, was now occupied by a stinky little fairy!

Professor Lily's dragonfly wings were crumpled together, and the area around the desk was piled high with mountains of wine bottles.

It was unbelievable!

The dignified Dean of the Mage Academy of Saint Marian was almost drunk to death in the office!

Was all of this a decline in morality, or a loss of humanity?

"Dark?"

Professor Lily struggled to open her eyelids. Seeing that it was Dark, she couldn't help but raise her arm: "Plea- please help me!"

Before she finished speaking, Professor Lily had already closed her eyes again, snoring like a dead pig.

Dark: "..."

So what exactly happened?

He quickly closed the door to prevent exposing the embarrassing demeanor of the Dean of the Mage Academy.

The office didn't look very messy, there were no signs of fighting, it wasn't a locked-room murder... uh, anyway, that's what it was.

Dark confirmed that Professor Lily had just fallen asleep, so he picked her up from the desk and carried her to the sofa next to it to lie down.

Fortunately, Professor Lily was just a delicate and petite little fairy, otherwise he really wouldn't have been able to move her.

"Clatter."

Something slipped from Professor Lily's other hand.

Dark bent down to pick it up, it was a beautiful flower card dotted with blue flowers.

"Blue Enchantress?"

Pure love and sincere kindness, the promise-keeping Blue Enchantress.

Reaching out to touch it, the flowers on the card surface moved aside, revealing the person hidden behind the flowers, a human boy with a round face, sweet smile, and as angelic as could be.

"Who is this?"

Dark frowned, but then felt that he shouldn't pry into other people's privacy, so he put the [Love Fortune-telling Card] back into Professor Lily's hand.

Then he took off his coat and covered the professor.

Then he turned and left the office, ready to start class!

It was just a substitute class.

First-year arithmetic class was ridiculously simple.

Although Dark didn't have time to prepare a lesson plan, it turned out that there was indeed no need to prepare one.

The biggest problem was having to face students from four academies at the same time.

Because Professor Jones and Professor Lily had switched classes, the two classes in the morning were all four academies together.

The Noble Academy and Knight Academy were fine.

But the students from the Mage Academy and Fool Academy.

He really couldn't recognize them all.

Fortunately, he only needed to teach one class.

"Just try to muddle through."

"Today, I'll just talk to them about what exponential explosion is!"

The bell rang.

Dark rushed into the classroom before being late.

Because it was a large classroom, the students from the four academies were very consciously seated in four rows.

When Dark walked into the classroom, it was eerily quiet inside.

Probably because no one had ever thought that one day a classmate would be standing on the podium to teach them.

Dark felt the gaze of all his classmates, but he was not uncomfortable.

As the son of the kingdom's only duchess, as the son of the Valkyrie, one of the Kingdom Double Swords, where he went was not so eye-catching?

Excessive praise, excessive flattery, and excessive doting, ultimately nurtured that tragic personality.

But fortunately, it was not too late to mend the fold after the sheep were lost.

Dark walked onto the podium.

And then he immediately experienced Professor Kazell's exclusive perspective =_=!

"So Professor Kazell usually has it this hard?"

There were three professors in the academy who were less than 1.5 meters tall.

But Professor Lily and Professor Didi were both winged little fairies, always flying in the air without touching the ground.

Only Professor Kazell, it was particularly difficult!

Dark was 12 years old this year, over 1.5 meters tall, and didn't look short when standing with his classmates.

But once he stood on the podium, he was indeed lacking something.

He looked down and saw that there was a footstool hidden under the table!

Teacher Dark, who suddenly became taller, first introduced himself: "Hello everyone, I am Dark Demon. I believe there should be very few people who don't know me. In short, I will be substituting for this class today. If you have anything you want to know, you can ask questions first."

A class was 90 minutes long. Dark planned to spend a few minutes answering1 questions first, then spend about ten minutes talking about the homework left over from the last class, and then move on to teaching, talking about some content that first-year students had not yet been taught.

Perhaps because his smile was good-looking enough, the atmosphere in the classroom eased a lot.

Emma Metis from the Knight Academy raised her hand, and Dark nodded at her.

Emma immediately asked, "May I ask where Professor Lily has gone? What caused her to be unable to come to class?"

This question was obviously what the students wanted to know, and the classroom therefore stirred slightly.

Dark couldn't help but smile: "Professor Lily stayed up late last night researching Laplace's demon, and only fell asleep recently because she was too tired."

Emma asked doubtfully, "What is Laplace's demon?"

Dark: "A kind of divine beast."

Emma sat down, half believing and half doubting.

Another freshman from the Mage Academy immediately raised his hand.

Dark then said, "The student from the Mage Academy, do you have any other questions?"

The freshman asked sharply, "May I ask why Student Dark is able to stand on the podium?"

If it were me a month ago, you would already be dead.

Dark said, "Because I graded your homework."

The person's expression suddenly froze, and he sat down awkwardly.

Next, there were still many students raising their hands to ask questions.

Most of the Mage Academy students were unconvinced, the Knight Academy students were simply unhappy, the Fool Academy students felt indifferent, and the Noble Academy students were naturally proud and arrogant.

Dark just glanced over and noticed many small movements under the stage.

The Noble Academy students were taking this opportunity to taunt the Knight Academy.

Dark was thinking about whether to give them a warning when he suddenly saw Robert raise his hand.

"Robert Broheim."

Robert stood up and asked the question he cared about most: "May I ask, will the credits for this class still count?"
