She handed over the comb to Eldon and told him to fix the comb between the necklace and the neck, creating a distance between both of them. It would not be as effective but it was enough to let her breathe for some fraction of minutes.
After fixating it in the way told by Arabella, Eldon ran off to the other room and searched the drawers for the cloth bag.
A swords isn't of some millimetres to be lost, that too his one being over a metre long. There was no way it would fit in a small cloth bag.
He kept searching in the entire room. It almost seemed lost.
"Argh! Why does everything has to feel like a puzzle during an important time!"
Eldon growled with anger as the frustration showed very clearly on his face. His eyebrows being arched as he grabbed his hair.
He started searching the entire cottage instead of just that specific room. He went off to the left wing of the cottage and surprisingly enough, his sword was just lying on a corner right there as if it was in its ' Do Not Disturb' mode.
He took the sword and sprinted towards the room. Being a professionaly trained lad, it look him less than two minutes to get to the guest room from the left wing.
"Here, take this."
Eldon said so while handing his sword off to Arabella. His wounds yet bleeding out of the open injuries.
"Are you sure of your decision? You do understand that you're giving me a family heirloom, moreover one that was given by a God."
Arabella said as she took the sword off of his hand and placed it on the bed. Her gaze fixated on the beautiful cravings made on the silver.
An emerald at the handle which enhances the sword's appearance, the sharp blade with the unique structure of the handle gave that sword an artly expression. No wonder, it was from one of the god's relic. Such a beautiful embodiment of trust between gods and the Marchioness was about to be used for someone who was actually a nobody.
Arabella's voice firm and sturdy, she asked again, " It's not a teenage play in a romance book. Handing over such a precious item will cost you more than you can expect. Afterall it's not even your fault that she is suffering. I already had advised her to not wear it."
"Yes, just use it already."
Eldon waved his hand in an up and down direction pretending that it was just a sword. He sure did hate his lineage a lot to give his heirloom to a complete stranger.
Arabella didn't bother picking up the sword and started enchanting spells on it. The emerald stone being separated from the sword's handle , completely levitating in the air. The turquoise light emitted from it almost blinded the three of them.
But did he actually hate it that much. It was afterall a HIERLOOM, that too handed over by a freaking God! It's not easy to just separate with such an expensive thing, expensive is a minor word, it was a priceless item.
Yet Eldon had no interest in it. His backstory must have been depressing for him to feel nothing while parting with an achievement of his lineage.
Arabella looked at Eldon again but didn't muttered a single word. His eyes were glued to Aurienbergie, his fingers giving out all of their strength in detangling that ornament. The bloody hand and the blood covered chest talked less to him .
He was suppressing all his pain to save a stranger?!
Was Aurienbergie really a stranger? He looked as if he fell for her at the first sight. But there's nothing sort of love at first sight in real life existence.
All that Arabella saw in front of her was two kids, one almost unknown and the another one wanting to be the known part of the unknown.
Affection is not a quick thing. It's not like a lightning that struck people with such sudden intensity that they'll forget everything except their beloved.
It is a twisted emotion, the gradual development of attention, care and kindness towards each other is what we can call an emotion close to love but it's not love.
Love is a fabricated loom that a kitten plays with, twisted so badly that even a single thread looks like a messed up knot.
All these emotions running through Arabella's head with her being an audience of the play that was being played in front of her.
She snapped into reality back again but this time she didn't question him again about the sword.
She had always thought that repetition of events are so boring and she was going to stick with her this resolve this time too.
"Touch that emerald."
Arabella ordered and she continued her spelling.
Eldon, who at this point seemed confused of what was going on decided to simply follow Arabella's order.
He reached out one of his hand near the emerald and touched it. The turquoise ray changing its color into golden while at the same time, the necklace detangling Aurienbergie's neck to collide with the emerald.
The two of the jewels collided and formed into one new amber jewel. A beautiful golden shade, like that of a lighted lamp in a dark room.
The jewel adorned itself on Arabella's hand as it lost it's shine and the surrounding again turned into normal.
The luminesce was gone.
Aurienbergie finally breathing properly after panting for ten minutes straight.
She was still injured. The high blood pressure and the continuous supply and cutoff of the oxygen wasn't good for her health.
"Congratulations... Now all of us are injured."
Arabella said so with a smirk on her lips, facing downward towards the dumb girl and the lovestruck boy.
"What a day to witness this melodrama! Atleast I benefitted from it."
She again added to her sentence, looking towards her bracelet which had stop radiating but still looked beautiful like a coloured quartz.
