Chapter 43: A Sister’s Love and a Special Day

The next morning, as sunlight streamed through the grand mansion's floor-to-ceiling windows, the protagonist woke up feeling slightly different. There was a warmth around him, a sense of ease that hadn't been there before. His little body stretched as he blinked sleepily, his small fingers gripping the blanket loosely.

Before he could fully sit up, a gentle hand ruffled his hair. "Good morning, sleepyhead," a soft, affectionate voice called.

It was Olivia, his eldest sister, the world-famous actress. She sat beside him on the bed, smiling radiantly. "Guess what?" she said, tilting her head. "Today is our special day together. Just you and me!"

The boy blinked at her, still groggy. "Just… me and you?" he echoed in his tiny voice.

"Mm-hmm!" Olivia grinned and held up a small, beautifully wrapped gift. "And I got you something."

He hesitated, but his curiosity won, and he carefully unwrapped it. Inside was a customized teddy bear wearing a miniature version of Olivia's famous red-carpet dress. It even had a tiny golden crown on its head. His eyes widened slightly as he touched the soft fur.

"It's yours," Olivia whispered. "I had it specially made so that whenever I'm away filming, you'll have something to remind you that I love you."

His little fingers curled around the bear. He didn't say anything, but his heart warmed at her words.

A Fun and Memorable Day

Olivia had planned the perfect day for her little brother. First, she took him to her private cinema room in the mansion, where she played one of her most famous animated movies. Instead of just watching, she acted out scenes for him, making him giggle at her exaggerated expressions and playful antics.

Then, she led him outside to a beautifully arranged picnic in the mansion's garden, where the rest of his sisters and his stepmother watched from a distance. They wanted to join, but they held back, remembering the plan—they had to let each sister have her own special moment with him.

"Try this," Olivia said, feeding him a bite of freshly baked cake. "I made it myself."

His eyes widened. "You… made it?"

She nodded proudly. "Just for you."

He chewed carefully before giving a tiny nod. "It's good," he admitted.

Olivia's heart soared. Even though he didn't say much, every small reaction from him felt like a precious treasure.

A Bit of Jealousy Lingers

From a distance, Emma—their stepmother—watched with a soft yet slightly jealous smile. "He's opening up to Olivia so naturally," she murmured to herself.

Mia, the youngest sister, pouted. "He hasn't sat on my lap in days… And now he's letting Olivia feed him?"

Charlotte sighed dramatically. "At this rate, we'll have to take turns fighting for his affection."

Emma shook her head, smiling. "No fighting. This is what we wanted, isn't it? For him to trust us?"

Still, in their hearts, the small ache of longing remained.

A Sweet Ending

As the day wound down, Olivia brought him back inside and gently tucked him into bed, the little teddy bear still clutched in his hands.

"Did you have fun today?" she asked softly.

He hesitated, then gave a small nod. "Yes."

Her heart swelled, and she kissed his forehead. "Good night, sweetheart."

As she stepped out of the room, she looked back one last time, feeling accomplished. This was just the beginning. One by one, they would all show him that he was surrounded by love, and that no matter what, they would never let him feel alone again.
