Chapter 44: Isabella’s Special Day with Her Little Brother

The morning sun bathed the luxurious mansion in golden light as Isabella quietly entered her little brother's room. She smiled at the sight of his peaceful face, his tiny hands clutching a stuffed toy. With careful movements, she knelt by his bed and gently stroked his soft hair.

"Wake up, little soldier," she whispered lovingly.

The boy stirred, rubbing his sleepy eyes before looking up at her. "Bella…?" he mumbled, his voice still groggy.

"That's right," she said, scooping him up effortlessly into her arms. "Today, you're coming with me. We have a very special day ahead."

Still half-asleep, he clung to her, nestling his face against her shoulder. Isabella chuckled, holding him close as she carried him to the bathroom to freshen up. She personally helped him get dressed in a tiny, customized military-style outfit. When he saw himself in the mirror, his eyes widened in awe.

"I look like a soldier!" he gasped, turning to her.

Isabella grinned. "That's because you are my little soldier. And today, I'm going to show you my world."

The Military Base Visit

As they arrived at the elite military base, the sight was overwhelming. Rows of soldiers trained with precision, heavy-duty vehicles roared in the background, and a sense of discipline filled the air. But the moment Isabella stepped out of the car, everything changed.

The soldiers immediately stood at attention, saluting her. "General Isabella!" they greeted in unison.

Then, their eyes shifted to the little boy in her arms, and their expressions softened. "Welcome, Young General!" one soldier called, causing the others to smile.

The boy blinked in surprise. "They're calling me General?"

Isabella smirked. "Of course. You're my little brother, after all."

The soldiers adored him instantly. Some ruffled his hair, while others playfully knelt to his level, asking him questions. He giggled, feeling important and welcomed.

One of the commanders approached, handing him a mini version of an officer's cap. "A true general needs a proper hat," he said with a wink.

The boy beamed as Isabella placed the cap on his head. "Now, let's start your training!" she announced.

Training and Fun

Under Isabella's watchful eye, he learned simple self-defense moves. She patiently guided his tiny hands, teaching him how to stand strong. Though clumsy, he laughed joyfully as Isabella cheered him on.

"You're doing great!" she praised.

Next, she let him ride in a military jeep. The soldiers ensured the ride was slow and safe, and he squealed in delight as the wind brushed against his face.

Afterward, Isabella took him to watch the soldiers train. He sat on her lap, completely fascinated by the disciplined formations. But after a moment, he turned to her with a curious look.

"Bella, why do you work so hard?" he asked softly.

Isabella's smile faltered slightly. She pulled him closer and looked into his innocent eyes. "Because I want to protect people," she said. "But more than anything, I want to protect you. You're my little brother, and I'll never let anything bad happen to you again."

His eyes widened at her heartfelt words. Then, without warning, he hugged her tightly. "I love you, Bella."

She froze for a second, then melted into the embrace, closing her eyes. "I love you too, my little soldier."

A Jealous but Happy Family

Unbeknownst to them, a few figures stood at a distance, watching.

His stepmother, Mama Emma, and his six other sisters had secretly come to the base, unable to bear being apart from him for too long. They saw him laughing, training, and bonding with Isabella, and though their hearts swelled with joy, a small pang of jealousy crept in.

"He's having too much fun with Isabella," Olivia pouted.

Emily adjusted her glasses. "Scientifically speaking, it's only natural. The brain forms deeper bonds through shared experiences."

Lily crossed her arms. "Well, I want my turn next."

Sophia smiled softly. "It's okay. We'll all have our time with him. What matters is that he's happy."

Emma nodded, placing a hand on her heart. "Yes… He finally looks free."

Home and Goodnight

After an eventful day, Isabella carried her exhausted little brother back home. His small arms were wrapped around her neck, his breaths slow and peaceful against her shoulder.

She gently laid him in his bed, tucking him under the blankets. As she brushed his hair from his face, she whispered, "Sleep well, my little soldier."

That night, as the family gathered in the living room, Isabella proudly said, "He had the best day with me."

The other sisters exchanged determined looks. Tomorrow, it's my turn.

Their hearts burned with renewed determination. The journey of bonding had only just begun.
