Kieran's POV:
Three of Crant's men lunged at me, but I didn't hesitate. I barely moved a muscle sticking them down with my claws drawing blood.
The men fell to the floor unconscious and I wiped my hand off the blood. "You were saying?" I asked.
Crant watched, unimpressed and with a wave of his hand, all his men attacked at the same time.
I threw them off easily. Darius fought, and Caius stayed protecting Sienna from any of their attacks.
"Stop!" Crant yelled, and his men halted.
Half of them had fallen to the floor unconscious if not dead.
He took off his coat, tossing it aside to the floor and settled into a fighting position as he cracked his knuckles.
Darius bared his teeth, ready to pounce, but I shot him a warning look. "Don't."
Darius frowned, and halted. "What…?"
I looked at Crant, raising my index finger and moving it slightly before bringing it down. "He's got the smell of wolfsbane on him."
"You have sharp senses, Kieran. I expected no less," Crant said.
Damn him! He had masked it with the herbal flowers scent.
Before I could blink, Crant attacked, with his men pulling out their guns and aimed at us.
They shot and I moved quickly, pushing Sienna away from the attack. We hit the floor just as the fire round of bullets shot.
Caius moved just as quickly dodging the bullet, and he cursed as a bullet struck the top of his chair. "You pests."
His face turned fearful and his fangs grew longer than when we had fought. A large dark wing appeared and the bats encircled around him.
He moved precisely, knocking the men one after the other. The men screamed as he grabbed them, and threw them from a height.
Crant took out his bullet and refilled it with different bullets. They smelt different from the silver and he aimed at Caius attacking one of his men and shot.
No! "Caius!" I yelled, and he turned, the bullet barely missing him by an inch.
Crant shot again, and missed. He continued until he got Caius' leg. Caius fell to the floor, groaning and returning back to his human form.
I looked at Sienna, and got up, pushing her behind me as I fought the men. Some came behind, trying to drag her and she kicked them off, scratching them hard with her nails.
They kept coming like insects, and I was losing control over my blood rage. I had less than five minutes to be in control.
This has to end now!
Crant ran out of bullets and transformed into half of his werewolf form, aiming at Sienna. I ran forward, transforming into half of my werewolf form just in time and pushed him away.
My teeth dug into his skin, tearing as he yelped.
How dare he attack her?
I threw him away to the far end of the room and he roared, running towards me. I braced up for impact, and threw him to the floor striking him with my claws.
He barely had time to recover with my claws striking him repeatedly, drawing blood.
He tried to block my attacks and I threw him to the end of the room. He groaned, struggling to get on his feet when I yelled. "Enough!"
My voice thundered, causing everyone to stay still.
Caius finally got to his feet, and his eyes turned blood red with anger. He was breathing hard, and I shifted back into my human form.
The blood rage roared in my head, threatening to burst but I remained still, acting like I was alright and in control.
"I won't kill today," I announced, taking three steps forward. "I'll make you a deal."
The first three men I struck moved, their wounds healing. I slowly exhaled, grateful I hadn't let my blood rage control me.
Caius groaned and pulled out the sharp object from his leg, throwing it to the floor. "Now, you want to talk after forcing yourself in," he growled, yet looking surprisingly calm.
Crant got up, cleaning the blood off his lips. "What could you possibly offer that's better than her?" He said, looking at Sienna for a brief moment.
"One of your own," I said and he looked at me in surprise. "Ronan."
Crant eyes widened in shock for a second, then returned to normal at the mention of his name.
"He's of no value to us," Crant answered.
"He's a lot stronger than you all combined. I was about to make him an offer. And you won't like how it would turn out," I replied, cleaning the blood on my claws with the shirt of one of Caius men.
"And you expect me to accept this and walk away?" He asked.
"Yes," I answered, looking at him. "You're outnumbered and weak. Why not do yourself the favour and take the offer?"
Crant eyes darted between Sienna and me, then he shook his head. "Fine. We'll take Ronan and leave. This is far from over."
"We never forgive a betrayal," he added, looking at Sienna.
I smiled, taking his challenge. "Neither do I."
*********
I had Ronan released from the cell, ready for the exchange at the entrance of my packhouse.
My men stood at alert, checking the area and a car drove in. Crunt got out, took over the exchange and took Ronan from us.
"I'll see you again, soon," he said and stretched his hand for a handshake. I refused it.
"Good bye, Crunt,"I said and turned, walking back to the packhouse.
I heard Crunt drive away, and an earth shattering scream followed. It was Sienna.
I ran as fast as I could racing past the men and car and up the stairs. I was close, and made a turn when I spotted masked men dressed in black.
How the hell did they get in?
The door burst open and Sienna fell out, rolling to her side. Another masked man walked out of the room. He was much stronger than the others and I guessed he was their leader.
"What the hell, now?" I muttered under my breath.
