The ruins of the Cyber Death Zone stretched before us, a wasteland of destruction illuminated by the flickering neon lights of broken billboards. Specter walked ahead, his movements calculated, his eyes scanning every shadow. My newly unlocked Phantom Dash still hummed with residual energy, my body itching to test it again.

"Keep your guard up," Specter muttered. "This place isn't just abandoned—it's a hunting ground."

I gulped. 24 hours? In this hellhole?

A sudden whirring sound filled the air. Specter stopped dead in his tracks. His head tilted upward, and I followed his gaze. High above, drone sentries with glowing red eyes patrolled the area, their metallic bodies reflecting the dim light.

[Enemy Identified: Cyber Sentinels]

"Move quietly," Specter whispered. "If those things spot us, we'll have an army of enforcers on our backs."

I took a deep breath, stepping carefully between the debris. My heart pounded as one of the drones hovered dangerously close. One wrong move and we'd be toast.

Then, out of nowhere, a piercing alarm blared.

🔊 [INTRUDERS DETECTED] 🔊

The drones opened fire, red laser blasts raining down. I activated Phantom Dash, teleporting behind cover. Specter flipped backward, his twin pistols blazing as he took down one of the drones mid-air.

More enemies emerged from the shadows—Cyber Enforcers, humanoid mechs equipped with plasma rifles and reinforced armor.

I had seconds to decide. My fingers twitched over the in-game interface. Hack into their systems!

I pulled up my HUD, focusing on one of the enforcers. A new option appeared.

"Perfect!" I activated the skill, feeling a rush of data flood my vision. The enforcer froze, its glowing red eyes flickering. Then, suddenly—

"Holy shit!" I grinned, watching as the enforcer turned on its allies, blasting them apart with ruthless precision.

Specter whistled. "Not bad, rookie. You might actually survive this."

But before we could celebrate, the ground shook violently. A deep, mechanical growl echoed through the ruins.

[WARNING: ELITE BOSS DETECTED]

A gigantic mechanical beast emerged from the wreckage, its body covered in pulsating red energy. A colossal scythe extended from its right arm, crackling with electricity.

[New Enemy Identified: Reaper-Class Annihilator]

Specter reloaded his guns. "You ready for this?"

I tightened my grip on my energy blade, feeling a new surge of adrenaline.

"Hell yeah. Let's take this bastard down."
