I want to make him feel better

My aunt got home late yesterday, she looked sad and had dark bags under her eyes and when I asked her about it she said that Liam's father had died so now I'm on my way over to his mansion. I get that he may not want to see me but I need to see if he's okay or not. I wanna comfort him and make him feel better.

I knock on the door but none answers so I open it and walk inside. It's just like when I was here before but there's something sad and dark about it, like it's spark is gone.

I walk up the stairs and notice that the master bedroom door is open so I step inside and see him lying there on his bed curled up on the bed. He looks devastated. He looks up from where he is lying and his eyes turns darker.

"What do you want?" He asks coldly.

"I-I wanted to see if you were o-okay..." I stammer slightly under his intense gaze.

"Leave." He says coldly and I decide it's best that I leave since he is sad and broken right now.
