My husband took our daughter shopping, and in the blink of an eye, she vanished.
The next day, the kidnappers sent us one of her fingers, demanding $10 million for her release.

I widened my eyes, not expecting her to blurt out the truth so shamelessly. I closed my eyes and took several deep breaths, barely resisting the urge to throw my phone and kill them both.


In the end, I didn't reply to her message either.


Because I was afraid that if I replied, I would lose control and go insane!
