Chapter 227: The Miraculous Healing Magic

Chapter 227: The Miraculous Healing Magic

"We're near your school, but we can't find its location."

Black Widow said somewhat awkwardly.

Originally, they intended to go directly to the school to seek George's help, but after arriving in the vicinity, they found they couldn't locate the school at all, not even with the previously developed equipment.

What was even stranger was that the school's location, which had been determined using S.H.I.E.L.D.'s technological positioning system, had completely disappeared from the system.

This led them to circle the area several times without any clue, forcing them to use the communication device they had previously left behind to contact George via phone.

"Oh, I just made a small upgrade to the school's defense system.

Tell you what, stay where you are, I'll come pick you up."

George suddenly realized—it was his Fidelius Charm that was keeping them outside the school.

Spreading his wings and flying out of the school, he quickly found the injured Black Widow and the others on the roadside near the school.

"Quite a lot of people."

Aside from the familiar Black Widow, Coulson, Hawkeye, Hill, and May, there were also over a dozen S.H.I.E.L.D. agents he didn't recognize, most of them visibly injured.

But that was understandable—over thirty Winter Soldiers, each with strength comparable to Captain America under normal circumstances, made it nearly impossible for these S.H.I.E.L.D. agents to prevail.

"George, I know you don't like getting involved in our affairs, but if Hydra's plan succeeds this time, the whole world will be thrown into chaos."

Seeing George appear, Black Widow emphasized the seriousness of the situation once again.

"If you're willing to help, once S.H.I.E.L.D. is rebuilt, you'll receive a reward that will satisfy you."

Based on her understanding of George's personality, she knew he wasn't someone driven by a strong sense of justice—he needed an incentive to be willing to help.

"Let's get to the school and heal first, then you can tell me the details."

George nodded and led Black Widow and the others to the school gates.

He honestly had no real demands from S.H.I.E.L.D.—they didn't have any magic he could learn, and he didn't dare to learn magic from the Marvel universe anyway.

All of Marvel's magic has defined origins, each linked to corresponding demon gods. Using the magic of a demon god means paying the corresponding price, even if he uses his own magical energy.

For instance, the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak from Kamar-Taj originate from the demon god Cyttorak.

The Shield of the Seraphim originates from the demon god Seraphim.

The Sacred Sword of Vishanti originates from the Vishanti.

That's why he had never gone to find the Ancient One or tried to learn magic at Kamar-Taj.

Besides, the Ancient One was a mysterious, deep figure, heavily connected with Eternity, and George didn't want to get involved with that—for now.

Unless one day, he becomes powerful enough to rival those demon gods, capable of deciphering their dimensional magic and recreating it using his own magical knowledge.

To be honest, he was quite interested in Kamar-Taj's portal that can teleport across planets.

But if he had to say what really interested him about S.H.I.E.L.D., it would probably be the Cosmic Cube.

As one of the six Infinity Stones born from the Big Bang, it contains the fundamental laws and powers of the universe. The weapons created just by studying it are already incredibly powerful.

Like the energy weapons Hydra created during World War II using the energy extracted from the Space Stone.

Or how Captain Marvel gained her immense power thanks to a light-speed engine developed by a Kree scientist using the Space Stone.

If he could obtain the Space Stone and use its infinite energy to meditate and enhance his magic, wouldn't that be an inexhaustible magic crystal?

"This is our school, the Academy of Supernatural Abilities."

As George spoke the words "Academy of Supernatural Abilities," the entire school suddenly appeared out of nowhere in the eyes of Black Widow and the other S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.

When casting the Fidelius Charm on the school, George had made himself the sole Secret Keeper.

Which meant that only those who learned the school's location from his mouth could see it. Moreover, only the individual who directly heard it from him could see it—the school's location couldn't be passed on to others.

For example, now that he told these S.H.I.E.L.D. agents the location of the school, they could see it. But if they tried to bring someone else later, a strange phenomenon would occur:

No matter how hard they tried to explain, or even if they carried someone directly into the school, those people still wouldn't be able to see it.

That's the power of the Fidelius Charm.

So even though Snape was a member of the Order of the Phoenix, because he wasn't the Secret Keeper, he couldn't reveal its location to Voldemort.

Of course, Snape was actually a double agent—this was merely the official reason for why Voldemort couldn't find the Order's location.

Even if the Secret Keeper was captured and tortured, unless they willingly revealed the location, no one could find the place protected by the Fidelius Charm.

That's also why Sirius Black immediately knew that Pettigrew had betrayed them when he learned Voldemort had killed the Potters.

"Amazing!"

Coulson muttered while clutching his blood-soaked arm.

He had read reports about the Academy of Supernatural Abilities and heard about its wonders from Nick Fury and Black Widow.

But seeing it with his own eyes still felt unbelievable.

As for the other S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, it was even more shocking—most of them hadn't even heard of the school before. It wasn't until after Fury's death that Black Widow and several senior agents brought them here and revealed some information.

"Restore to Perfection!"

After bringing Black Widow and the others to the school's main conference room, George used telepathy to notify Professor X to temporarily suspend classes and bring all the teachers. He then began using healing magic to treat the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents one by one.

The wounded agents watched in shock as their injuries gradually healed completely under George's magic.

These were wounds that would have required months of hospitalization—and now they were fully healed, not even a scar remained.

They didn't realize that, for a wizard, such injuries were truly nothing. Even if a body part had been severed, as long as it wasn't lost, healing magic could reattach it perfectly.

"No need to lift your clothes—I can heal through them."

One female agent had a wound near her chest. When it was her turn, she immediately pulled up her entire top without hesitation, exposing important areas. Fortunately, George stopped her just in time and she lowered it again.

Once he finished healing all the agents, Professor X and the rest of the school's teachers arrived at the conference room.

"So, tell me—what exactly happened? Why were you defeated so badly? Weren't you supposedly gaining the upper hand before?"

Seeing everyone was present, George gave a rough summary of the situation and then turned to Black Widow for the full details.
