Chapter 74: Morning Mischief

Ji-Ah stirred awake, feeling an unusual warmth pressed against her back. She blinked drowsily, her mind taking a moment to register the firm arms wrapped around her waist.

And then it hit her.

Evelyn.

Still naked.

Ji-Ah groaned internally. She tried shifting away, but the moment she moved, Evelyn tightened her grip, pulling her even closer.

A sleepy voice murmured against her ear. "Where do you think you're going?"

Ji-Ah sighed. "Away from this."

Evelyn hummed lazily. "You were fine with it last night."

"I fell asleep," Ji-Ah deadpanned. "I didn't agree to be your personal pillow."

Evelyn smirked, her lips brushing against Ji-Ah's shoulder. "Too late. You're already mine."

Ji-Ah rolled her eyes. "At least put on some clothes."

"No."

"Evelyn."

Evelyn sighed dramatically. "You're so difficult in the mornings."

"And you're always difficult." Ji-Ah turned to glare at her but immediately regretted it when she was met with a very bare, very smug-looking Evelyn. She quickly looked away.

Evelyn chuckled, clearly enjoying Ji-Ah's reaction. "You're so cute when you're flustered."

Ji-Ah groaned. "I swear, if you don't put something on—"

Evelyn smirked, leaning closer. "Or what?"

Ji-Ah grabbed the nearest pillow and smacked it against Evelyn's face.

A muffled laugh came from under the pillow before Evelyn dramatically fell back onto the bed. "So violent."

"Get dressed, or I'm leaving you here," Ji-Ah threatened, already sitting up.

Evelyn watched her with amused eyes before finally stretching lazily. "Fine, fine. But only because you asked so nicely."

Ji-Ah shot her a glare.

Evelyn only winked before finally grabbing a robe and slipping it on. "Happy?"

Ji-Ah exhaled, standing up. "Not even close."

Evelyn smirked, watching as Ji-Ah headed toward the bathroom. "You'll come around eventually."

Ji-Ah paused at the door. "Keep dreaming."

Evelyn grinned. "I always do."

Ji-Ah sighed and shut the bathroom door behind her.

This woman was going to drive her insane.
