Aziel was sitting in the lobby when the clerk called him.
"Aziel Mateo, please come inside the office to get your Identification Card." The clerk announced.
Although Aziel was alone in the lobby, he felt that there is some unfamiliar eyes watching him. He didn't mind the gaze though and just brushed it off. When he went inside the office, he was congratulated by the clerk, offering her hand for a handshake. Aziel find it weird but still took the handshake anyway.
"I Susan Armstrong, congratulate you on passing the test with a flying colors. Although it's not really that high, but still, it seem a congratulatory was in order." Susan said as she shook Aziel's hand.
"Thank you Miss Susan. What do you mean by flying colors? I'm sorry, I was from Viscount Von Rayshik's domain so I didn't really know anything about it." Aziel asked Susan.
"You don't really have to worry about it." Susan just waved her hands as she hand over Aziel's Identification card.
In the card, Aziel can see his face, name, age, and a big letter A indicating his ranking level.
The ranking system of the world consist of seven ranks which was arranged in a descending order from F down to A for the normal occurring ranks, and rank S being the strongest which was a very rare occurrence in an evaluation.
Aziel's face lit up from happiness, he didn't expect his ranking to be this high as he was considered a cripple just a year ago. As he was celebrating from happiness, he heard a familiar voice coming from his head.
"Congratulations, Aziel. I was so happy for your achievement." Eleanor congratulated him telepathically in a happy tone.
"Yeah, way to go kid!" Drako inserted.
It made Aziel smile happily as he missed both voices.
"Thank you guys, it made me happy even more after hearing your voices." Aziel replied telepathically.
"I know you are so happy right now and I am also happy for you, but be careful my child as I feel a watching eyes looking right towards you." Eleanor warned Aziel.
"Yes ma'am. I also felt it since earlier, do you know where that gaze is coming from?" Aziel asked Eleanor.
"I don't know who it was but it seem coming from there." Eleanor replied.
"There? Where was it?" Aziel was looking from right to left and around.
"Don't try to look where the gaze is coming from. You might gave them a clue about us." Eleanor ordered Aziel and it made him stop from looking around.
"I'm sorry ma'am. But what do you mean by 'There'?" Aziel asked Eleanor.
"It came from Mount Olympus, kid!" Drako couldn't help but butt into the conversation.
"Mount Olympus? Where was that?" Aziel asked further.
"It is where the 12 gods reside, my child. It wasn't in this world but out of it." Eleanor explained.
"What? How can that be? I never did something that could gave in my true intentions, so how? Aziel asked them both.
"You can't underestimate the powers of the gods, kid." Drako answered
"Alright, what do I do now?" Aziel was in a panic.
"Relax my child, you still haven't really gave them a clue about us. It looks to me like they were just trying to assess the students with a promising result in the evaluation that came towards their Kingdom. And by the looks of it, it must be Apollo, the god that governs this Kingdom. Just act naturally as you walk towards the Academy and you will be good, okay?" Eleanor calmed Aziel down.
"Yes ma'am." Aziel followed Eleanor's order and walked towards the Academy.
"That's it for now, my child. I will talk to you again soon, but always remember that we were here beside you throughout your journey." Eleanor assured Aziel.
"That's right, kid. Relax and enjoy your journey, we will be right behind you." Drako added.
"Okay Miss Eleanor, Sir Drako. I will talk to you both soon. Goodbye for now." Aziel said his goodbye to the two.
With that, Aziel went inside the Academy through its huge front gate.
The Academy looks out of this world, it was enclosed by a huge glass-like dome, and the Academy itself is also huge, having field inside it. Students were going from left to right either flying by using their powers or just walking.
In the middle of the hall of the Academy, just across th field, a huge statue of their god could be seen. Aziel was amaze by how huge the statue was. The hall had a glass roof, this was made so that the sun could illuminate the statue.
As Aziel was walking towards his class room, he bump into a weak looking kid with a glasses that was holding so many books. The books fell down to the floor with his glasses as they bumped into each other.
"I'm sorry, I wasn't really looking to where I was going." The kid said to Aziel, apologizing.
"No, it's my fault. I was actually new here, my eyes was venturing across the hall as I walk, and I haven't seen you. I'm sorry." Aziel replied as he helped the kid picking his books.
"Why do you have so many books with you? I'm Aziel Mateo by the way." Aziel introduced himself as he hand the boy's glasses that he picked.
The boy took his glasses after putting down his books to the ground, and introduces himself.
"I really like learning, that's why. My name is Rocky Shepard." The boy introduces himself by handing his hand for a handshake.
"Hi, Rocky." Aziel happily took Rocky's hand and shook it.
"I'm new here, and I really didn't have a friend. Can you be my friend?" Aziel asked Rocky.
Rocky was a bit hesitant answering the question, as he experienced something similar in the past but it ended in a way that he doesn't want. Rocky always experienced betrayal by his so called friends because he also has a very weak magical power, but it didn't stop him from working his butt in learning magic. Eventually, he accepted Aziel's offer but this time he wasn't so trusting anymore.
As the walk through the hall, they found out that they were going in the same class.
"We were in the same class after all." Aziel said to Rocky smiling.
"Yeah, you right, hehe." Rocky timidly replied.
Aziel let Rocky go ahead into the classroom as he went to meet his homeroom teacher to give his information papers that was given to him by Von. The personal information was requested by Von to his wife who is also his secretary.
"So, you are the new student? May I see your I.D card given by the Academy clerk? The professor asked.
Aziel hands over his I.D card towards the professor.
When the professor take Aziel's I.D card, it made him happy to see Aziel's rank.
"Alright, come with me. I'll introduce you to your classmates. Call me Professor Arnold Bridge, I will be your homeroom teacher for the whole year."
"Okay Sir." Aziel affirmed as he followed Arnold towards there room.
"Wait outside the room. I will call you after I made the introduction." Arnold said.
Aziel wait outside the room as he listen to Arnold's introduction.
"Class, there is a new student attending this class. He will be joining you from now on. Alright, you may now come inside." The professor called Aziel.
Aziel went inside the room. All the students were whispering to each other. The girls were discussing about Aziel's looks.
"He's good looking. A light-blue hair, a clear blue eyes. He's totally my type."
"He seem hot, standing tall with a muscular physic."
"I wonder if he has a girlfriend."
Everyone could hear their every words, it made most of the boys jealous towards Aziel.
"You may now introduce yourself." The professor said.
"Yes sir, thank you." Aziel replied.
"Good morning everyone. My name is Aziel Mateo, but you can call me Aziel. As you all know, I'm new here so please be ware with me. I hope to be friends with everyone." Aziel finishes his introduction with a warm smile.
This made every girl from the class go crazy.
"Waaah! I like his smile!"
"Please sit next to me!"
"Can I be your girlfriend?" A girl asked with a flirty voice that made every other girl gave her a glare. This made them go crazier.
"No! Please be mine!"
"No! Me!"
The room goes crazy when the professor, unleashed a little bit of his energy towards the class and yelled towards them.
"Be seated! You are to treat every other individual with respect. Be nice to your new classmate, and listen to your professors properly!" Yelled by Arnold that made the class settled down.
"Now, you can have a seat next to Rocky at the farthest back." Arnold said, pointing towards the chair beside Rocky.
"Rocky, please show Aziel around the school later, okay?" Arnold instructed.
"Yes, sir." Rocky answered timidly.
"Now, please take your seat Aziel." Arnold ordered.
When Aziel had taken a seat, Arnold made an announcement.
"Okay class. As I am in a good mood right now. I won't give a class today, but you are to use this time to study your lesson. I will see you tomorrow." Arnold finished his instruction and take his leave.
The children celebrated as they hate classes first thing in the morning.
"Aziel, why don't I give you a tour right now? Since Sir Arnold decided not to give a lesson today." Rocky asked Aziel timidly.
"That's great. Let's go. I really want to familiarize the Academy. I'm in your hands Rocky." Aziel quickly stood up and smile towards Rocky, which was seen by the girls watching, and they all gone crazy.
"Let's go Rocky, most of our classmates are weird." Aziel whisper to Rocky's ear.
This made Rocky burst out laughing.
"Pft! HAHAHAHAHA! I never thought to hear that from you! Come on lets go outside." Rocky walks out of the room laughing, he was starting to open up a little towards Aziel.
However, they were halted by a girl who really wants to have Aziel for herself. She stops Rocky by touching his shoulder. Rocky seem to stop laughing as the girl keeps her hand on his shoulder.
"You can wait for a minute right, Rick?" The girl asked Rocky.
"Yes ma'am." Rocky answered in a weird tone.
As Rocky turn around, Aziel could see his face. He looked like a dog with his tongue out of his mouth and his eyes were so dull, as if he seemed hypnotized by a mysterious power.
The girl walked towards Aziel, smiling.
