Wake Up Healer!

< Half a day later >

Kim Seoyung and her husband Kim Jungho had brought their son to go visit healer Choi Minseok due to their growing concern.

Kim Jungho knocked on the wooden door two times and waited, but didn't get an answer so he knocked on the door again only this time he knocked 4 times and more loudly than before.

Choi Minseok opened the door and yelled "Damn it! Impatient scoundrels who is it what is it!? What's the matter with you-"

Choi Minseok rubbed his eyes to see clearly before speaking because he was still half asleep.

This was when he saw the familiar two the couple he called rabbits quite a few times on the day of Kim Yulryong's birth.

"Ah it's you fellows what the hell is wrong with you rabbit rascal hooligans do you want some vegetables from this old man?"

Before they could respond healer Minseok continued speaking.

"You insidious unscrupulous fellows dare to awaken this old man at the middle of the night why I ought to give you both a good beating-"

"Aah Kim Yulryong it's Kim Yulryong you brought him, you two rabbits brought him to my humble abode what's this about? Hmm quickly come on tell this old man don't be shy I'm wide awake now thanks to a certain pair of lovey dovey mischievious rabbit hooligans."

This was when Kim Jungho clasped his hands at Choi Minseok.

"Senior this junior and his wife have been quite troubled and concerned lately regarding our son Kim Yulryong we've come here to have you check on him."

Choi Minseok held his chin for a few seconds and then began stroking his beard

"Shameless juniors you want this old man to give another free divination hmm, hmm? Smart indeed smart, but shameless you have no tact!"

Kim Seoyoung nudged her husband with her elbow

Kim Jungho sighed

"Junior wants to gift the wise and handsome senior Choi Minseok for his kindness and grace towards me and my family."

Kim Jungho presented Choi Minseok with a small palm-sized bag of gold.

Choi Minseok closed his eyes while continuing to stroke his beard.

"It appears junior has learnt some manners these past few years, hmm that is pleasing for this old man to witness, but I couldn't possibly accept such a gift." Said healer Choi Minseok while keeping his eyes closed and stroking his beard

Kim Jungho smiled and said excitedly.

"Please senior there's no need to be so kind please accept this juniors gift."

Kim Seoyoung nudged her husband again

Kim Jungho grew a vein on the side of his forehead upon realizing the situation

He bowed down and offered another palm sized bag of gold while presenting them both to healer Minseok.

"Senior please accept this juniors lacking gift it's worthless; this junior only wishes he had the wealth to offer a more worthy gift for senior."

Choi Minseok kept stroking his beard and subtly peaked with one eye to see what the new gift was.

Once he saw another palm-sized bag of gold has been added he cleared his throat.

"Very well then since you are so adamant about it and since you said it's worthless then this old man accepts your gift."

The healer smiled and raised his right hand to take the gold.

After he took one bag Minseok reached for the 2nd bag of gold, but his smile faded to a frown because he noticed Kim Jungho gritting his teeth and not letting go of the 2nd palm-sized bag of gold.

"Senior please take the 2nd one as well there's no need to be so kind you are too kind hearted may the heavens bless you for your grace, but please accept this juniors gift."

Kim Jungho said while simultaneously smiling and gritting his teeth; his face slightly red and the vein on his forehead showing more.

"Damn it Kim Jungho your first gift was already more than enough for this old man."

He said while using more strength this time to try take the 2nd bag of gold

"Elder please-" he paused to resist the crafty senior Choi Minseoks attempts.

"Elder please this junior insists!" 

Kim Seoyoung would've stopped this a long time ago by nudging her husband to just give the gift, but the first tiny bag of gold was already most of their finances for the next 2 months so when she noticed the senior trying to accept the 2nd tiny bag of gold she began to root for her husband in her head.

"Damn it he sure is lively, oh to be young when I was young I had even more strength than he does, but for now the only way for my frail old body to be able to pluck this out of his stingy contradictory hand would be to use one of my cultivation skills or spells, but that would be too obvious." Thought Choi Minseok.

A few seconds later healer Minseok noticed his grip slipping so he punched Kim Jungho as hard as he could on the nose with his left hand

Kim Jungho yelped from both the shock and sudden pain and fell to the floor while holding his nose; before he could get up the cheeky healer crouched down, taking the bag of gold and storing it inside his robe.

"AH! Junior! Junior Minseok are you alright!? My hand appeared to slip in the air sorry I apologize maybe this old man really didn't get enough sleep today, goodness me."

Kim Seoyoung frowned and helped her husband back up.

Kim Jungho looked fiercely at Choi-Minseok, but didn't take long to cover it up with a smile and clasped his hands at the healer.

"No worries senior after all you are a healer so this should be nothing for you to heal, although if you do feel bad maybe you could assist us in paying for Kim Yulryong's education."

"This guy is far too crafty; I worry if his son whose future cultivation is going to be at a terrifying level one day posessing so much as half of his father's crafty sneaky vile nature."

Thought Choi Minseok shamelessly as though he truly thought his left hand slipped in the air while his right hand was gripping the '2nd gift' when he hit poor Kim Jungho and kept saying he wouldn't accept the gift while trying to pluck it from his hands a good multi-tude of times.

Choi Minseok's eyes widened a bit

"Actually this is a heaven sent opportunity if I'm in the good graces of such a future monster he will surely remember and reimburse my efforts hmm at least a hundred-fold or perhaps even a thousand-fold if he isn't too greedy hahaha!" He proudly said in his mind.

At this time the healer had a profound change and his eyes were sparkling as though a thousand Jade beauties were throwing themselves at him and pleading for him to bed them.

He waved his sleeve; then he slapped his chest and yelled.

"That's without question!Such a thing! It goes without saying! Hmph this old man is this childs God father after all!" 

Kim Seoyoung and Kim Jungho exchanged puzzled glances and then looked at the healer again.

The healer exclaimed that he was their childs Godfather so confidently that even the parents briefly believed it and tried to recall if they ever made him their son's Godfather.

Choi Minseok slapped his thigh with unparalleled fervor as if he owed himself a great deal of money and exclaimed again.

"I am this childs Grandfather, Ancestor and if need be I can be Kim Yulryong's mother and father as well!"

"Seoyoung... Doesn't healer Minseok look younger could it be that he's using or testing a new spell that prolongs lifespan and rejuvenates ones looks?"

Kim Jungho whispered to his wife.

"It- it indeed appears so honey if it's successful we should pester- I mean ask him to bless us with that spell also."

They both looked at each other and nodded aggressively.

Choi Minseok shed a tear of joy

"In fact whenever he wants any money or my help don't you dare not let him come to his dear Grandpa for help!"

Both husband and wife looked at each other in a state of disbelief again.

"Kim Yulryo- Eh where did he go where is our son, I mean your son he was just here a minute ago." The healer asked.

They looked around collectively and noticed the wooden door to Choi Minseok's house was slightly more ajar than usual they went inside and noticed Kim Yulryong crawled in there in the midst of all that and they also went inside.

"It's about time that they're finally here those circus clowns completely forgot about me what type of parents are they." Said Haji in his mind.

"Not good the distance between the group of teenagers and the powerful rank 2 geezer is lessening the old man appears to have found their traces and is closing in fast we have at most 3 days to steal the treasure that they stole from him." Haji's avatar suddenly said.

"Eh isn't that a little too fast even for a rank 2, forget it nevermind the question I'll steal that treasure long before then anyways I'll look for a chance to get out when no one's looking." Haji replied to his avatar in his mind.

Haji's avatar nodded and went back to cultivating.

Kim Jungho suddenly remembered why he came with his wife and son to visit the healer.

"Senior the reason we are here today is regarding Kim Yulryong these past few days he's been acting strange, we are concerned about him could you check his health and divinate his future for us?"

Minseok raised his eyebrow "My dear grandson has been acting strangely huh?"

Minseok sighed "What do you mean by strangely give some examples of what he's been like that worries you so."

"Our son... He sometimes makes stranger noises than usual baby noises it's even stranger... At times it sounds like he's either speaking an ancient unknown language or as though he's been hit in the head very hard and has gotten a brain injury."

Minseoks brows furrowed "Eh? You fellows are you taking care of your child or just letting him run into walls while you two are all lovey-dovey in your own little bubble, in your own little world!?" Shouted Minseok as he slammed his hand on the table while sitting cross legged.

Before they could respond he shouted again "You two damned whimsical reprobates better take care of my grandson!"

Kim Seoyoung was going to say something, but the old man was still angry he crossed his arms "Hmph!" and then he snorted coldly.

"Wait wait senior it's not like that we promise." Said Kim Seoyoung

"Hmmm alright you two explain yourselves for Kim Yulryong's Grandpa Choi Minseok!"

"Senior our son sometimes acts strangely as mentioned in the examples before not due to me or my wife neglecting him; in fact we've constantly been keeping an eye on him, in fact much more than other parents would with their child."

"However senior we don't know why he's like this lately it's gotten a bit worse he started being cross-eyed for a few seconds and rolling on the floor and sniffing his palm and then coughing it was very very peculiar."

Kim Jungho explained.

"That is very concerning... Alright leave it to Grandpa Choi Minseok."

Choi Minseok began checking Kim Yulryong's body for any physical or mental abnormalities while using his healing techniques, skills and spells.

"Hmm no there doesn't appear to be anything wrong wit-"

Choi Minseok gasped loudly

"I- I-I I can't believe it there's no way he's at Rank 1 mid stage already he's 5 fucking years old!!!"

Choi Minseok shrieked like a madman.

His parents were delighted to hear this news, but also very terrified.

Choi Minseok collected himself, controlling his emotions by suppressing his fear and shock.

"There's nothing wrong with this boy, you two are playing me for a fool huh?"

"Did you just want to surprise this old man with his Grandson's great talent his innate ability his skill his excellence already mid stage of rank 1, well that's indeed a good surprise." Said Choi Minseok with even more sparkles in his eyes than before.

"Actually we thought he had no cultivation at all." Said Kim Seoyoung.

Choi Minseok went to go bring tea for them and himself.

He came back with the tea and told Kim Yulryong's mother and father to take a seat and drink.

The Healer was the first to sip his tea.

"Listen our son, my wonderful Grandson even without divinating I can tell this fellow's cultivation and future is going to be brighter than the sun and sturdier than Mount Tai!"

Haji was staring at all this happening while pretending to be clueless.

"I wonder how this geezer could see through my cultivation; I'm going to need to find a way to completely hide it with that new dark aura technique from my avatar's comprehension of the 0 energy from Earth that turned into a dark aura I can use in this world that seems to negate almost everything; it would be great and much easier to use for erasing connections to items, pets and hiding cultivation level completely/partially since my cultivation is too low to be able to use it for offensive and defensive purposes for now."

Putting his cup down the healer stood up and walked towards Haji and placed his hand on Haji's head covering it entirely due to Haji being only 5 it looked like a grown mans hand entirely palming a ball that's slightly smaller than a soccer ball.

The reason he was essentially palming Haji's head like this was to get a better; more accurate divination.

At this time the healer began divinating.
