After eight years of marriage, I finally accepted the fact that my husband's heart only had room for pure love Serenity, not for me or our daughter.
Just as I had made up my mind to divorce him and was on my way to the airport to leave home, my daughter Melody and I were involved in a serious car accident.
The accident killed the driver instantly, Melody lost one of her kidneys, and I lost my own heart, replaced with an artificial one.
