CHAPTER 10 : Blood on the Ropes

The first punch came fast. Too fast.

Alexander barely dodged it before another cracked against his ribs. The room was filled with shadows and the sickening sound of fists meeting flesh. He fought back, harder, faster, until his knuckles were raw.

Then a scream.

Eve.

His blood turned to ice. He turned—just in time to see a gun raised to her head.

And in that moment, he knew—this fight had never been about him. It had always been about breaking him.

And they had just found his weakness.
