"The Abyss Expedition: Encounter in the Forest of Temptations"

With growing human curiosity about the Abyss and the desire to study its resources, the first expedition was organized after the second earthquake. This team consisted of three Class B guards — Jack, Izem, and Kuro — along with two renowned scientists, Steven and Dom.

The team gathered, all preparations were complete, and the leaders of both organizations, Arisu and Archie, were present. Just as Arisu was about to deliver some encouraging words to the team — "You are the hope of hum…" — he was interrupted by a terrifying, powerful sound. A scream echoed from the depths of the Abyss, freezing everyone in place with fear. As they exchanged nervous glances, Archie broke the silence, trying to ease the tension:

"The Abyss is an opportunity for humanity to advance. With the resources inside, we can discover and create things beyond imagination. Carry this responsibility with pride."

In unison, the team responded, "Understood."

The expedition began, and they entered the first layer, known as the Forest of Temptations. The plants were strange, with vibrant, mesmerizing colors. The animals were unfamiliar, but surprisingly peaceful — they showed no signs of aggression.

As they walked and explored, Jack spoke up:

"Hey, guys… don't you feel like the Abyss has changed a lot?"

Kuro nodded, replying, "Yeah… These beautiful sights weren't here before, and the creatures weren't this calm."

As they continued, a faint sound reached their ears — soft crying.

"Do you hear that?" Izem asked. "It sounds like a child… crying."

Steven listened closely and said, "Yes, but it seems a bit far. Izem, since your hearing is sharp, you should take the lead. Let's follow the sound."

They carefully tracked the crying, moving deeper into the jungle. Step by step, the sound grew clearer until they finally reached its source — a young boy, no older than eight, with black hair and dark eyes. His thin body was covered in cuts and bruises, and he wore tattered rags.

The moment their eyes met the boy's, Jack, Kuro, and Izem felt a heavy pressure weighing down on them, freezing them in place. Then, just as quickly as it came, the sensation vanished, leaving them unsettled.

Izem cautiously stepped forward, kneeling beside the boy.

"How did you get here? Are you lost?" he asked softly.

But the child remained silent, staring at them with teary eyes.

Jack shifted uneasily. "I think we should leave him here and head back. I've got a bad feeling about this."

Izem and Dom glared at him.

"How could you even think about leaving an innocent child behind?" Dom snapped. "Don't you have a heart?"

Jack scowled, his voice sharp. "You're letting emotions cloud your judgment! We're inside the Abyss — we don't know its secrets or the creatures that live here. This could be a trap, and it could get us killed!"

Kuro stepped between them.

"Enough. Let's settle this with a vote."

In the end, the votes were cast — Izem, Dom, and Steven voted to take the boy with them, while Jack and Kuro voted against it.

With the decision made, they ended the expedition and began their journey back to the surface, bringing the mysterious child along.
