Looking at his daughter's excited eyes, he appeared in front of her and gave her a nod and put a finger on his lips.
Lu Renshu nodded and stood up and bowed and left the room with happy steps.
It didn't take much more time before both Lu Fin and Lu Feng'er awakened their martial spirits. Lu Fin's martial spirit was also the Immortal Jellyfish while Lu Feng'er was the Golden Shark Trident.
Lu Feng'er looked around and only saw her brother in the room messing around with his martial spirit and a little smile appeared on her mouth as her eyes narrowed.
She suddenly stood up and pointed the Golden Shark Trident at her brother and yelled, "Damn jellyfish, die under this queen's hands!"
"Huh? What are you doing sister?"
Lu Feng'er didn't answer him and attacked him with the trident. Lu Fin had no choice but to use his Immortal Jellyfish Spirit and a bunch of blue tentacles appeared out of the raised left arm and wrapped around the hilt of the trident.
"Sister, what are you doing!" Lu Fin said and tried to pull the trident away, but his sister held it with a tight grip and refused to let go.
The two of them played tug-a-war for a while until Lu Xiaofeng appeared in front of them and slapped both of their heads.
"Stop messing around!"
Feeling the force hitting their heads, they both retracted their martial spirit and rubbed their heads in pain.
"Your sister is waiting for you outside." Saying that, Lu Xiaofeng left the room and went outside where Lu Renshu sat and was playing with her jellyfish spirit.
Seeing that both her brother and sister came out, she couldn't help but ask, "So, what did you two awaken?"
"Golden Trident Shark!" Lu Feng'er said, summoning her martial spirit and started to wave it around.
"Immortal Jellyfish." Lu Fin said in a flat tone and sat down next to Lu Renshu while looking at her jellyfish spirit.
"You also awakened the Immortal Jellyfish?"
"Hmm." Lu Renshu replied.
Lu Fin nodded and then looked at his other sister who was still waving around her trident.
While the three were immersed in their excitement, Lu Xiaofeng clapped his hands, gaining the attention of all three of them.
"Feng'er, you sit down." Lu Xiaofeng said and waited for her to sit down before he continued.
"Now that all of you have awakened your martial spirit, it's time to decide what kind of spirit master you wish to be. For the three of you, you can either go down attack, support, or defense. I am a defensive spirit master, but I'm also an attack spirit master. This is because I'm also a spirit formation master, which can be classified as my second profession. Your second profession will be key in your future development."
Lu Feng'er looked up and raised her hand and asked, "What other second professions are there besides spirit formation?"
"Good question. There are three other main second professions: Spirit Blacksmith, Spirit Formation, and Spirit Medicine. These are the only ones that can be considered true professions. Besides them, there are a few side professions such as Spirit Tailor and Spirit Chef. I suggest not going down that route unless you want to live a mediocre life."
The three of them sat there lost in thought. Even Lu Feng'er didn't speak out and sat on the chair quietly.
"You three can take your time. This is a life choice after all. If any of you wish to learn formations, you can come to me. If you wish to learn medicine..." Lu Xiaofeng paused for a moment and touched his chin.
He didn't know if he should say the rest but...
"You can worship your mother as a teacher and she can teach you. Although she is only a rank 5 Spirit Medicine Master, it's still relatively high. As for Spirit Blacksmithing, you have to ask around at the Royal Dipped Academy."
The three nodded and Lu Xiaofeng stood up and put his hands behind his back.
"Now, let's get to training, shall we?"
Lu Feng'er cheered, while the other two seemed a bit reluctant, but stood up and nodded their heads.
"Alright, let's start with some combat training."
Lu Xiaofeng then disappeared from their sight, only leaving a gust of wind to hit their face alongside the smell of the coastal sea.
"Humph, this time we can use our martial spirits! We'll at least hit him once." Lu Feng'er said while she jumped her way to the backyard.
Lu Fin followed along quietly behind Lu Feng'er while Lu Renshu only sighed and dragged her body alongside them.
"Dad's not gonna be easy on us. I just hope that the academy will be better."
Lu Fin turned his head at his sister and shook his head.
"Dad personally said that the training at the academy is much stricter. You must remember that dad is the grand tutor at the academy and personally trains five of the most talented individuals in the academy."
Lu Renshu couldn't help but smile. She felt a little sorry for those five.
"Let's do our best. Maybe dad won't be that hard."
"I don't think that's possible, but whatever you say." Lu Fin said, his tone was still cool and collected.
The two of them soon met up with Lu Feng'er in the backyard and found Lu Xiaofeng waiting there.
"Now, the three of you can use your martial spirits. Do you think you can win?" Lu Xiaofeng smiled.
The three looked at each other. This time it was Lu Fin that spoke out.
"No."
"Hmm." Lu Xiaofeng pondered, but was quite happy at his response.
Before he could give his approval, Lu Feng'er jumped out and summoned her Golden Shark trident and a white spirit halo appeared beneath her feat and pointed her trident at Lu Xiaofeng's head.
"Of course we'll win!"
Lu Fin and Lu Renshu both turned to look at their younger sister speechlessly.
"Well, I was going to praise all of you, but now I'm only going to praise Lu Fin and Lu Renshu. Having a calm mind when faced with your own increase of power will help you live longer and take fights that you don't need to take."
"Huh, only cowards run!" Lu Feng'er replied, and attacked with her martial spirit.
Lu Xiaofeng looked at the trident that's coming toward his head and suddenly an indifferent glint showed in his golden eyes and simply dodged the attack.
Seeing his dodged attack, Lu Feng'er became more and more bold and started attacking relentlessly, aiming at all kinds of vital points.
But of course, she never reached any of the spots she aimed for and kept missing.
Seeing their youngest sister fighting their father so aggressively, Lu Fin and Lu Renshu just decided to leave her be.
She kept on trying to hit Lu Xiaofeng and at some point, she even resorted to using her fist, and he stopped them without a change in his expression. It seemed that it was just a routine where she had no hope of reaching him, but suddenly, she caught a small opening and took the chance.
"HA!" She shouted, putting in all her strength into this one blow.
Water started to form at the tip of her trident and transformed into a powerful drill and sped towards her father's right arm.
