The Digimon Killer, Gizmon!

The first squad, along with Gizmon AT, was waiting outside the door. They had heard the loud crashes from within, but no Digimon emerged. They had been expecting an easy takedown, but their targets had already slipped away.

The report quickly reached the Guard Captain, who relayed the information to Kurata.

Kurata frowned—something wasn't right.

Soon, he received another update from the surveillance team.

Although the cameras inside the room had been destroyed by Moss, the ones outside were still operational. The footage showed Moss, leading a group of Digimon, escaping through a hole in the wall instead of using the door.

"Oh? She didn't take the obvious way out but instead broke through the wall?"

Kurata smirked.

"This Angewomon is unusual… She's not just some mindless beast."

His curiosity piqued, he decided to review past surveillance footage of Moss.

And when he saw it—he was stunned.

At some point, Moss had mysteriously disappeared from the facility. She had been completely missing for a period of time and had only just returned before breaking out of the stasis pod.

Kurata's face darkened.

This was a massive security breach—one that hadn't been reported to him!

Had his security staff been asleep on the job? Or were they all just incompetent fools who got their positions through nepotism?

But more importantly—where had this Angewomon gone? Why had she returned? Was it to rescue the other Digimon? And what had given her the power to escape in the first place?

Kurata's mind raced.

Something had happened—something completely beyond his understanding or control.

And that infuriated him.

Just like that man…

"Second squad, move in and surround them from the outside!" ordered the Guard Captain.

Kurata, however, gave a new command.

"Capture the Angewomon. Don't destroy her."

The Guard Captain hesitated. "But, sir… Didn't you say earlier that it wasn't necessary?"

"That was before," Kurata replied, his sharp gaze sending chills down the captain's spine. His lips curled into a sinister smile.

"I said… capture her."

It was no longer just curiosity—now, he needed to know what had happened.

The Guard Captain quickly adjusted the orders.

"Second squad, cancel the termination order. Capture them alive!"

Outside the Hospital

A sudden scarlet beam of energy rained down from the sky!

BOOM!

The red laser sliced across the grass in front of Moss, Vademon, and the other Digimon, leaving a deep scorch mark on the ground.

They looked up and saw a purple and green mechanical Digimon descending from above.

Its spherical body was flanked by two long, flat metal arms, and beneath it extended green, cable-like appendages.

Gizmon ATMature Level, Machine TypeA Digimon artificially created by Kurata. It has no self-awareness—it is merely a weapon.

"What the hell is that?!" shouted Vademon, alarmed.

The other Digimon trembled in fear.

They had spent their entire lives in the Digital World, and while some had never seen certain Digimon before, they had at least heard of them in legends.

But this…

This thing was completely unknown.

Even the Angewomon inside Moss' mind was taken aback.

"What… is that? I've never seen a Digimon like this before."

Moss was surprised. "You've never seen Gizmon?"

"No."

Moss frowned. "Then who captured you?"

"Quetzalmon."

Ah.

Moss instantly understood.

Kurata didn't just rely on Gizmon—he also had three Bio-Hybrid Hunters.

Those three had undergone Bio-Digimon Fusion, allowing them to transform into powerful Digimon using Bio-Digivolution. One of them—a prodigious young girl—could evolve into Bio-Quetzalmon.

That meant every Digimon here—including Angewomon—had likely been captured by those Bio-Digimon Hunters rather than by Gizmon.

Realizing this, Moss issued a stern warning.

"Be careful. If you get hit by its Laser Cannon, you won't even leave behind a Digiegg!"

Normally, when a Digimon is defeated, it reverts into a DigiEgg, allowing it to be reborn.

Even if they don't retain their memories, at least they have another chance at life.

But if a Gizmon AT kills them…

There is no rebirth.

No DigiEgg.

No second chance.

Nothing.

A true death.

Vademon and the others turned pale. "That's insane! Is this thing some kind of Digimon killer?!"

Suddenly, Gizmon AT lashed out—its long metal arms extending like whips, striking toward Moss from both sides!

Moss leaped into the air, spreading her wings and gliding away while keeping her eyes locked on Gizmon AT.

If it tried to fire another laser, she had to dodge immediately.

One hit, and she was done for.

Seeing Moss take to the sky, Gizmon AT immediately adjusted its trajectory, flying up after her.

Perfect.

Moss grinned.

As soon as Gizmon AT got close—

BAM!

A devastating punch slammed into Gizmon AT, sending it flying backward.

It skidded across the ground for several meters, tearing up the earth before coming to a stop.

Yet, it made no sound of pain.

It simply… realigned itself.

Like a soulless machine.

On its metallic body—where Moss' fist had landed—there was only a small dent.

"What the hell?! That's all?!" Vademon and the others were horrified.

Moss' expression darkened.

Her "Holy Spiral Punch" had been strong enough to punch through 20-centimeter-thick walls… yet it had only left a small dent on Gizmon AT.

How absurd is this thing's defense?!

Inside her mind, Angewomon quickly analyzed the data.

"You need to increase your attack power by ten times to break through its armor."

"TEN TIMES?!"

Moss nearly swore.

What was she, a Super Saiyan?!

Even if she had time to fully charge her attack, she could at most double its strength.

How was she supposed to increase it tenfold?!

This damn thing's armor is made of Digizoid, isn't it?!

Wait… maybe I don't need to break its armor at all.

Maybe I can just… stop it from moving.

Moss narrowed her eyes.

It was time to test something new.

"Full-Body Receive: Zombieman Satan Mode!"

Her clothes transformed into red bone-like armor.

Her legs were wrapped in high black boots.

Her angelic wings fused into massive demonic bat-wings.

And most importantly—

Her staff.

At the tip of her staff, a dark crimson gem gleamed with power.

A beam of cursed energy shot straight into Gizmon AT's singular eye.

A second later—

It collapsed.

"It worked! RUN!"

Moss deactivated her transformation and took off with the other Digimon.

If one Gizmon was this tough…

She did not want to be around when more showed up.

Run first. Fight later.

Kurata, watching through surveillance, was shocked.

He had raided the Digital World for years.

He had studied thousands of Digimon.

He knew everything about Angewomon.

Yet…

She had just transformed into something completely different.

An Angewomon… who could turn into a demon.

Kurata's lips curled into a smile.

"Well, well…"

"Looks like we have another mystery on our hands."

He picked up his phone and made a call.

"There's a new mission."
