Third person point of view
Dev parked the bike in front of his house and Aravind got off. He gave the helmet to Dev. " Notes ". Aravind asked and Dev took out the books from his bag and gave them to Aravind. " Text me once you finish, so I myself will come and get them. Or bring them and give it to me. I am not letting you forget them ". Dev said in one breath and Aravind rolled his eyes.
He hit Dev on his back with the books and walked away. Dev chuckled helplessly. He watched Aravind walk into the compound of his house. " Don't forget that too ". Dev yelled and Aravind paused as he was not sure. So he turned around and saw the smirk on Dev's face. He understood what it was about.
" You think I will jump over this wall and beat you up ? " He asked and Dev laughed. " Don't. Go, go inside ". Aravind walked away after giving one hard glare. Dev went into the house and sat in his room. He changed into comfortable clothes and sat down at the desk to work on the project. He wanted to do a bit of research before getting into it.
He noticed his phone lit up and saw it was Bhargav and rolled his eyes. He put it screen down and continued to do his thing. After a while, his room door opened and he saw Aravind standing there with his books. " Done ? " Aravind nodded and put the books on the desk. " What are you doing ? " He looked at the notebook in front of Dev and then at the screen.
He understood it was about the project. He then looked at the notes and flipped the pages reading the content. He turned to the side and noticed Dev looking at him. He raised an eyebrow and Dev looked away. Aravind knitted his eyebrows and stood up straight. Dev picked up his phone and saw Bhargav's message.
He took a deep breath. " This guy needs to learn to mind his business. He is totally going to have a problem with me if he keeps texting all the time ". Aravind peeked at the messages and chuckled. Bhargav kept trying to make conversations while Dev just killed them with one word answers or sometimes just an emoji with no way to go forward.
" He is a lot more persistent than I expected ". Aravind couldn't help comment. He then saw Dev's expression. Dev really looked like he wanted to have a talk with Bhargav. " Are you jealous ? " Aravind asked and Dev nodded seriously. " I know very well that he finds you cute too and wants to hit on you. So yes, I am ".
Aravind felt the chip in his brain burn. Dev tilted his head. " My jealousy also comes from the fact that he can actually flirt with you without really caring ". Dev looked up at him. Aravind just stared at Dev completely not expecting that reply. He just wanted to get back at him for morning and tease him, but who knew Dev would answer that sincerely ?
Aravind was initially leaning with his hands on the desk but he stood up straight, looking flustered. He did not know where to put his hands and legs. " I will go back ". He quickly ran away from there. Dev laughed as he watched Aravind run away like he was being chased by a monster. He shook his head and continued his work.
Aravind quickly walked out of the house and went to his own. He went back to his room and sat down in front of the desk. He picked up the stress ball and started to squeeze it. His heart beat slowed down after a few minutes and he let out a breath. He felt a little conflicted about the whole situation.
" Aru, come out for dinner ". " Coming ". Aravind put the ball aside and went to have dinner. He finished dinner and went back to his room again. He sat down at the chair and turned his laptop on. He looked at the wallpaper and sat back looking at it. It was a drawing that Dev made for fun. When Aravind saw it, he really liked it and asked for it.
So Dev made it so that it would fit the desktop perfectly. Aravind clicked his tongue and swung his chair, side to side. He did a full round and went back to looking at the laptop. He shook his head. He definitely has to get work done instead of just sitting thinking about things. And so he did search up a little and looked for things which would help with the project.
He did that for a while and wasted some time on YouTube. He yawned and checked the time and it was 11:03. He turned the laptop off. He stood up and stretched. He closed the laptop and went to bed. He rolled around for a while but finally slipped into a deep slumber when he found a comfortable position.
