Moving into Ravenclaw Manor

The decision had been made—Ezekiel and Daphne would move into Ravenclaw Manor, an estate untouched by time, carrying the legacy of one of Hogwarts' founders. However, while it was the right choice for them, not everyone was thrilled about it.

Back at Malverne Manor, the family had gathered in the grand dining hall for breakfast. The atmosphere was warm, filled with the scent of freshly baked bread, roasted meats, and spiced tea.

Ezekiel placed his cup down and cleared his throat. "We've made a decision."

His mother, Marissa Malverne, raised an eyebrow. "Oh?"

Daphne, seated beside him, nodded. "We've chosen Ravenclaw Manor as our home."

A moment of silence followed before Alys smirked. "Finally. I was starting to think you'd stay here forever."

Thomas Malverne, their father, nodded approvingly. "A good choice. Ravenclaw Manor holds great historical and magical significance. As Lord Ravenclaw, it's only fitting that you reside there."

Ezekiel appreciated his father's support, but before he could respond, a small voice interrupted.

"No."

Everyone turned to look at Celeste Malverne, Ezekiel's youngest sister.

The little girl sat at the far end of the table, her spoon clutched tightly in her tiny hands, lips trembling as she stared at her brother.

"No," she repeated, this time louder. "You can't leave."

Daphne frowned, about to speak, but Ezekiel raised a hand, signaling her to wait. He turned his full attention to Celeste.

"Celes…" He spoke gently, but she shook her head, eyes shimmering with unshed tears.

"You're leaving me." Her voice wavered. "You're going away, and you won't be here when I need you."

A lump formed in Ezekiel's throat. He stood and walked over to her, kneeling beside her chair.

"Celeste, look at me."

She refused at first, but when he tilted her chin up, she met his gaze.

"I will always be your brother," he said firmly. "No matter where I live, nothing changes between us. You will always be welcome at Ravenclaw Manor."

Celeste sniffled. "Promise?"

Ezekiel smiled and kissed her forehead. "I promise. Anytime you want, you can come visit, stay as long as you want, and make it your second home."

She hesitated before finally nodding, though the sadness in her eyes remained. "Okay… but I will visit all the time."

Daphne chuckled. "I'd be disappointed if you didn't."

Alys smirked. "Celes will probably move in with you if you're not careful."

Ezekiel ruffled Celeste's hair. "Then I suppose we better make sure there's a room ready for her."

Celeste's face lit up at that, and though she wasn't entirely happy about his departure, she finally seemed to accept it.

The next day, Ezekiel and Daphne stood in the grand foyer of Ravenclaw Manor, watching as house-elves transported their belongings. Ancient chandeliers illuminated the entrance hall, their enchanted glow reflecting off the polished stone floors.

Daphne turned to Ezekiel, eyes filled with quiet excitement. "We're really doing this."

Ezekiel wrapped an arm around her waist. "We are. This is our home now."

She leaned into him. "It's perfect."

As the last of their belongings were set in place, the magic of the manor seemed to stir, as if welcoming them properly for the first time.

Their new life had officially begun.
