Eyes of a Wolf.

The fight was over.

Wei Liang adjusted his uniform, stepping over Taegon's barely-conscious body. The once-arrogant brawler groaned, clutching his ribs, too winded to even curse.

Silence. Then whispers.

"Did you see that?"

"He dropped Taegon like it was nothing!"

"That wasn't a fight. That was a massacre."

Wei didn't care about the reactions. He had made his point. J High wasn't Gun Park's only hunting ground anymore.

But as he turned to leave, a slow, exaggerated clap echoed through the crowd.

"Tsk. What a show-off."

Wei stopped.

Leaning casually against the fence, arms crossed and his signature black sunglasses in place, Vin Jin smirked. His posture was lazy, but there was a sharpness in the way he tilted his head, as if sizing Wei up.

"Another wannabe tough guy trying to make a name for himself, huh?" Vin scoffed, pushing himself off the fence. "You new kids always think you're something special."

Wei met his gaze or rather, the dark lenses covering it.

He could already tell. Vin Jin wasn't like Taegon.

There was no fear in his stance, no hesitation in his words. If anything, he looked amused.

Wei turned away, uninterested.

That made Vin click his tongue. "Oi. I'm talking to you."

Wei stopped but didn't turn. "And?"

Vin's smirk widened. "You're pretty good, I'll give you that. But let me make one thing clear J High already has its top dogs."

He gestured around with a lazy wave of his hand. "And you? You're just another stray."

The crowd tensed.

Wei finally turned his head slightly, just enough to glance at Vin over his shoulder. His cold, unreadable stare made the air feel heavier.

"Then let's see who bites harder."

Some students audibly gasped. Others murmured in shock. No one talked back to Vin Jin like that.

Vin let out a low chuckle. "Heh. You've got guts, I'll give you that."

Then he took a step forward, lowering his voice just enough for only Wei to hear.

"But don't get too cocky, newbie."

Wei's expression didn't change.

He didn't need to say anything.

His presence alone sent a message.

Everyone would know his name.

And no one not Vin Jin, not anyone was going to stop him.
