163: This is outrageous! Even Lord Third never kept us waiting this long!

Faint, warm air rose.

Inside the Hokage's office, two figures stood close, leaning against the door.

"O-Okay... can you stop now?

"You brat, Natsuki! You have the nerve to bully your sister now!! I-If you keep this up, I'll get angry!" Kurenai's face was flushed crimson as she leaned weakly against Natsuki, her hands firmly pressed against his right hand, which was hidden beneath her clothes.

This little rascal was too naughty. Who knows who taught him to be so bold!

"Hmph, I'm the Hokage now."

"Who's older, the Hokage or this older sister of yours?"

"What's age got to do with anything? The Hokage is the most honerable person in the entire village. So, you're obliged to do whatever I say." Natsuki blinked, a playful glint in his eyes.

"Fuck off!!! I'm your older sister! Even if you're the Hokage, you're still my little brother. How dare you disobey me?" Kurenai put her hands on her hips, trying to look imposing.

After the Nine-Tails' Rampage, if it wasn't for her taking him in, would he be where he was today?

She had to establish her dominance in the family hierarchy today; otherwise, there would be no chance in the future!

However, this posture made her forget to restrain Natsuki's hand. Instantly, his arm snaked upwards from beneath her clothing, gaining the upper hand.

"Ah..." Kurenai gasped, her imposing demeanor vanishing like smoke. But before her cry could fully escape, Natsuki's lips once again covered hers.

Instantly, Kurenai lost all her strength. Her head buzzed, leaving her bewildered. Just then, a knock sounded from behind the door.

Knock, knock, knock!

"Lord Fifth Hokage, what business do you have with us?" Outside the Hokage's office, Homura Mitokado frowned as he knocked.

Koharu Utatane stood beside him.

As Hokage advisors, their daily task was to assist the Hokage.

Naturally, the office door was always open for them and anyone who needed to consult the Hokage.

However, for some unknown reason, the door to the Hokage's office was now tightly shut.

Not only were they summoned, but they were also kept waiting. It seemed necessary to teach the young Hokage some manners.

Inside the room, Kurenai's eyes widened in panic.

She felt her scalp explode, her limbs stiffening, her hands turning icy cold.

Separated by a single door, it felt like being caught red-handed.

She quickly pushed Natsuki away, opening her mouth to speak but unable to utter a word.

After all, they were ninjas with sharp senses.

The slightest change in tone would be detected. It was better to catch her breath first.

Her anxious expression clearly urged Natsuki to stop; Konoha's elders had arrived.

Natsuki was initially startled, but seeing Kurenai's flustered state, his playful spirit surged.

Ignoring everything, he leaned in and kissed her again.

"Mmm..."

This time, Kurenai completely gave up, resigning herself to fate.

She no longer cared if the elders find out, it didn't matter anymore.

Those two old geezers couldn't beat her little brother anyway. Besides, Natsuki was the Hokage, the highest authority in the village.

What was wrong with them waiting for a bit? They could try removing him from office!

In fact, Kurenai would be happier that way; her brother wouldn't be used as a pawn anymore.

Having thought this through, Kurenai wrapped her arms around Natsuki, a gentle fragrance emanating from her as she relaxed completely.

Natsuki was still a head shorter than her afterall, she could assert her authority as long as she fought with her all.

Knock, knock, knock!

"Lord Fifth Hokage? I'm leaving If you don't open the door right now." Homura yelled impatiently after waiting for another fifteen minutes.

He could sense that there were people inside.

Could the little Hokage have fallen asleep while organizing documents? Impossible! He had clearly heard faint movements earlier.

Moreover, while the boy might be young in other aspects, his strength was undeniable.

He probably sensed their presence the moment they entered the Hokage Tower.

No, he couldn't leave now.

He would break down the door if he had to, just to see what this kid was up to.

"Natsuki! I know you're in there. If you don't open this door, don't blame me for tearing it down!

"Don't forget, you're the one who was rude first.

"Even Lord Third never made me wait this long!" Homura's forehead throbbed with a visible vein.

"Homura, why waste your breath on this brat? Just kick the door down!

"I strongly opposed you and Danzo recommending him as Hokage. See? He doesn't have an ounce of respect for you." Koharu sneered, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

She was about to kick the door open when Natsuki's voice finally came from inside.

"Wait a moment, I'll be right there."

"What? Wait longer?!" Koharu, even more short-tempered than Homura, shrieked in her raspy voice, "That old monkey, Hiruzen, wouldn't dare treat us like this!

"Today, I'll teach you some respect for your elders!"

With that, she raised her right hand, preparing to use a jutsu to demolish the Hokage's office.

Suddenly, a delicate hand grabbed her wrist.

Koharu turned to see that it was the ANBU operative who had summoned them, a female ninja with long purple hair.

"Lady Advisor, please calm down!

"This is the Hokage Tower. Any dangerous action in here will be considered an act of violence against the Hokage." The masked ANBU's voice was calm but firm.

Several killing intents surged from various parts of the Hokage Tower, silently threatening to bury the two elders then and there if they dared to make a move.

"Oh, very well! Hiruzen sure trained his ANBU well." Koharu laughed in fury.

These ANBU were mostly trained by the Third Hokage, a special guard loyal only to the Hokage.

Originally intended to pave the way for his son, Asuma, the plan was disrupted by Orochimaru's attack during the Chunin Exams.

Hiruzen hadn't had time to make other arrangements before he died, leaving this advantage to the new Fifth Hokage—Natsuki.

"Alright, Koharu, let's not make a scene.

"Natsuki is still young, a newly appointed Hokage. He doesn't understand many rules and etiquette.

"Let's just wait a little longer." Homura quickly intervened.

Although he was also angry, starting a conflict with the ANBU inside the Hokage Tower without even seeing the Hokage would be too embarrassing.

Moreover, they were old. If they were younger... Hmph! He would show these youngsters the might of Konoha's Wise Men! In his youth, his strength was no less than the Third Hokage's.

"Hmph!" Hearing Homura's words, Koharu snorted and ceased her jutsu preparation.

Seeing them calm down, Yugao Uzuki quickly retreated two steps, her purple hair swaying as she melted into the shadows in the corner.

They waited for another half hour.

A vein pulsed on Homura's forehead again.

This time, he couldn't endure it any longer.

He took two steps forward, raised his right hand, ready to knock twice before blasting the door open.

Just then, the door to the Hokage's office quietly opened. The suddenness almost threw Homura off balance.

"Oh? You two are finally here." Natsuki looked pleasantly surprised, as if he had just realized their arrival.

Wait, who was the one who answered from inside just now?

"Pfft!" Natsuki's shamelessness made a vein on Koharu's forehead to pop.

Only ANBU operative Uzuki, hidden in the shadows, blinked innocently.

'Has the Fifth Hokage... developed senility at such a young age?'
