"Who is Vanessa here?" Mason's voice echoed in the classroom.

Vanessa raising her hand. "I'm Vanessa. What do you want, huh?"

Mason walked towards her and slammed his hand on her desk. "How dare you say those words to Hannah?"

(When he slammed his hand, both Vanessa and Chloe flinched at the unexpected action.)

(Vanessa's friends quickly stood up from their desks.)

Chloe: "What the hell are you doing? How dare you talk like this to a girl?"

Amber and Sasha: "Yeah! How dare you?"

Amber: "Why are you slamming your hand on Vanessa's desk? What if she gets hurt?"

Mason, in an angry tone: "She hurt "

he chuckle .

THen again he's face goes serious "she hurt Hannah first!"

Chloe: "Hey, st—"

Before she could finish, Vanessa stood up from her chair and interrupted.

"Chloe, why are you stopping him? Crybaby's protector has come to defend her."

Mason slammed his hand on the desk again. "Shut up! Don't say anything about her! She is innocent, and that was just an accident, okay? So don't you dare talk about her like that again!"

Vanessa smirked. "Oh? And what will you do if I talk about her, huh? What can you do? Nothing, right?" She laughed mockingly. "You know what? You're just a crybaby protector and a nobody to me. NOTHING. So shut up and go away,

Pro -te-ctor."

Mason's anger flared. "How dare you—"

(Just as Mason was about to do something, Kai stepped in and stopped him.)

Kai:Mason, stop it! Stop this now!"

Mason, still fuming: "Kai, get out of my way! She's insane! She always thinks she's superior and never cares about how others feel! Let me go!"

Kai: "Enough! Stop it now! Don't do anything stupid, okay? Calm down. I'll talk to her."

Kai turned to say something to Vanessa but he stopped mid he's eyes locked with Vanessa . (Kai's thoughts) Oh God… she's beautiful. Whoa… so she is Vanessa. Beautiful, just like her name. Her hair, her eyes… oh God, why is my heart beating so fast? Bump. Bump. Bump… I feel I get heart attack anytime. Kai tried to control himself. Control, Kai, control… he thoughtbut how? She's so gorgeous…

Vanessa frowned. "Hey! Why are you staring at me? Do I look like a clown to you?"

Kai smiled and mumbled. "Beautiful…"

Vanessa narrowed her eyes. "What did you just say?"

Kai snapped out of his thoughts. "Oh! Sorry, I meant… beautiful… umm… beautiful day!". (Kai extended his hand for a handshake.) By the way "I'm Kai.

Vanessa refused to shake his hand

Vanessa scoffed. "Whatever."

Kai looked a little disappointed but quickly recovered. "Alright, I just wanted to clear things up. Mason got angry because Hannah was crying, so don't mind okey.

Mason: "Kai! Why are you apologizing to her?"

Kai: "Mason, stop. Let me handle this, okay?"

(Just then, Ryan, Yuna, and Hannah arrived.)

Hannah walked straight to Mason. "Mason, are you okay?"

Mason's expression softened when he saw her. "I… I'm fine. Are you?"

Hannah nodded. "Yeah, I'm okay too."

Yuna approached Kai. "What's happening here ?"

(Vanessa rolled her eyes.)

Kai: "Nothing, just talking to Vanessa."

Yuna looked confused. "Talking?"

(Before anyone could say anything else, the classroom door opened, and a man's sweet voice filled the room.)

"Settle down, everyone. Lunch break is over. It's time for class."

(Everyone quickly returned to their seats.)

The man smiled. "Alright, class. I'm your science teacher, Mr. Bennett. I'll be teaching you biology, chemistry, and physics. But don't worry, I'm also your friend." He grinned. "If you ever need advice or counseling, you can come to me. But—" his expression turned playful, "—you should be scared when I'm teaching! I don't like disturbances, Ok-ay?"

(The class chuckled lightly.)

Mr. Bennett clapped his hands. "Alright! Today, we're starting Chapter 1 of Chemistry. Are you all ready?"

The class responded weakly, "Yes, sir…"

Mr. Bennett raised an eyebrow. "Come on, guys! Where's the energy? Didn't you eat lunch?"

The students groaned. "Yes, sir!"

Ryan's stomach growled slightly, and only Mason heard it.

Mason smirked. "You didn't eat anything?"

Ryan sighed. "Nope."

Mason: "Me neither… ugh, we'll focus on class first. Then we'll figure out how to fill our empty stomachs."

Ryan nodded. "Sounds like a plan."

Mr. Bennett again say : "Okay, class! One more time—ARE YOU READY?"

This time, the students shouted, "YES, SIR!"

Mr. Bennett smiled. "That's the spirit! Now, open your books to Chapter 1. Let's begin!

And The class began, and Mr. Bennett started teaching.

Kai: "Ugh… my stomach is growling."

Yuna: "Mine too."

Kai: "What do we do now?"

(Yuna take her bag and opened it started searching for something. A moment later, she pulled out a lunch box and opened it. Inside were neatly wrapped vegetable rolls.)

Yuna smiled. "Kai, look! My mom packed this in my bag. Take one."

Kai's eyes lit up. "Whoa, Yuna!" He quickly took one wrap and took a bite. "Ooooh… heaven!"

Yuna noticed Ryan and Mason sitting nearby. "Hey, Kai, give some to Ryan and Mason too. And tell Mason to pass one to Hannah."

Kai nodded, took the lunch box, and leaned toward Ryan, whispering. "Ryan… Ryan!"

Ryan turned to him. "What happened?" he whispered back.

Kai handed him the lunch box. "Give some to Hannah and Mason too."

(Ryan's eyes lit up as he took the box and take on wrap and passed it to Mason.)

Mason took one wrap. "Who gave you this,

Ryan: Kai?"

Mason trun towards Kai but Kai pointed towards Yuna, and Mason turned to her, mumbling a soft "Thank you."

Yuna smiled.

Ryan: "Mason, pass one to Hannah."

Mason: "Me?"

Yuna smiled.

Ryan: "Mason, pass one to Hannah."

Mason: "Me?"

Ryan: "Yes, she's sitting right next to you. Just give it to her."

Mason hesitated for a second but then took the lunch box in his hand and leaned toward Hannah, whispering. "Hannah."

Hannah turned to him. "What happened?"

Mason held out the lunch box. "Yuna gave this… so you don't feel hungry." He mumbled the last part.

Hannah's eyes lit up as she took the box and started eating the wrap . Mason couldn't help but smile while watching her.

Ryan nudged Mason's shoulder. "Focus, or Mr. Bennett will catch us eating." He whispered.

Mason chuckled. "Okay, okay."

(They continued eating quietly while Mr. Bennett's voice echoed throughout the classroom, carrying on with his lesson.)

The bell rang.

Mr. Bennett smiled. "Okay, class, I think our lesson is over now." He picked up his bag. "Take care, everyone."

All the students stood up. "Thank you, sir!"

(He smiled and walked out of the classroom.)

(Hannah, Mason, and Ryan walked toward Kai and Yuna's desk. Hannah handed Yuna her lunch box.)

Ryan sighed in relief. "Yuna, you're an angel! I thought I was going to die from hunger."

Kai: "Same! But Yuna your mom is amazing."

Hannah: "Yeah, the wrap was really good. Your mom is such a great cook."

Mason: "Agreed. I liked it a lot."

Yuna smiled. "Thank you!"

Ryan stretched. "Alright, let's go, guys. I think it's P.E. period now."

Mason smirked. "Yeah! My favorite period."

Ryan rolled his eyes. "Typical athletic student."

Mason : shut up Ryan

Yuna chuckled. "Let's go, then!"

Kai: "Yeah, let's go!"

(They all headed to change their clothes, and a few minutes later, all the students gathered on the playground, chatting with their friends. balls were scattered around the ground.)

(Vanessa spotted one ball and smirked when she saw Yuna, Kai, Hannah, Mason, and Ryan standing together. An idea popped into her head. She grabbed a ball and threw it toward Hannah.)

(But instead of hitting her, the ball landed near Hannah's feet.)

(Hannah turned when she noticed the ball.)

Vanessa crossed her arms. "Hey, crybaby! Give me the ball."

(Hannah bent down to pick it up.)

Before she could, Mason spoke. "No, Hannah. Hey, Vanessa, take it yourself."

Vanessa chuckled. "You think I'm going to pick it up myself? Seriously? You expect me to bend down for that ball? No way, Protector." She smirked. "Just hand it over."

Mason: "No. Come and take it yourself."

Vanessa: "Seriously?"

(She started walking toward Mason and Hannah. Behind her, her friends followed, forming a group.)

(Yuna and the others stood firm. Now, both groups were face-to-face, tension filling the air ) ....
