A gunshot rang out.
Aria screamed in pain as the bullet tore through her leg.
Tony, shocked, grabbed her and leaped into the air. Below, the gunman looked up, aiming his weapon toward the sky.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Three shots fired. All hit Tony. But he didn't scream. He simply covered his mouth, landing on a nearby building—far enough to escape immediate danger but not too far from the shooter.
"Togo, status?" Tony asked, his voice strained.
"Healing in progress," Togo responded.
Tony let out a relieved sigh. "I don't know what I'd do without you."
He glanced at Aria, noticing the wound on her leg.
"When I heal," Aria growled, her eyes filled with fury, "I'll kill that monster."
Tony frowned. "How do you plan to defeat him?"
Togo's voice echoed in his mind. "Scanning... He is a sea monster. Level—"
Aria's eyes widened. "Wait, what? A sea monster?"
Togo continued, "Remember when you two trained?"
Aria nodded. "Yeah, of course."
"I trained, too," Togo explained. "I upgraded my code and gained a new ability—I can scan the power of anything, even a rock."
Aria's shock turned to curiosity. "Then... how does Tony know?"
"Simple," Togo said. "I can send any scanned information directly into Tony's mind. That's why he left instead of fighting someone far beyond his strength."
Aria clenched her fists. "Togo, what's my level?"
"Superhuman level," Togo responded.
Aria frowned. "How far am I from the sea monster level?"
"Two levels below."
Aria gritted her teeth. "Then how do we defeat that man—"
Bang!
A bullet shattered the window, narrowly missing Tony's head.
"He found us," Tony muttered.
Without hesitation, he leaped out of the window, eyes locking onto the gunman below. The man stood there, smiling, his gun already raised and aimed at Tony.
Aria didn't hesitate. She pulled on her gloves, and in an instant, her vision shifted. The real world faded as she entered the Cyber World—a space filled with countless data streams and systems she could manipulate.
She saw everything. Weapons, security systems, even the electrical grid. All of it was at her fingertips.
Electricity surged through her body as she pulled her hand back. Her eyes snapped open as she exited the Cyber World.
She leaped into the air—Bang! The bullet was inches from Tony, but Aria intercepted, knocking him out of harm's way. She landed smoothly, her gaze locking onto the gunman.
"You're powerful," she admitted.
The man chuckled darkly. "Congratulations. You'll die a painless death."
Aria smirked. "You have no idea who you're messing with."
The man tilted his head. "Oh, I do. A weak child."
Aria clenched her fists but controlled her anger. "Before we fight, what's your name?"
The man grinned. "Killer Shot."
Aria scoffed. "I'll just call you Shot."
Before Shot could react, Tony struck, landing a powerful punch to his face.
"That's for shooting me," Tony said coldly.
Shot wiped his mouth and laughed. "Attacking a man while he's distracted? How dishonorable."
Tony didn't flinch. "Yes."
Shot's grin widened. He pulled out two guns, aiming one at Aria and the other at Tony.
"Stand down."
Tony's eyes burned with determination. "A hero never stands down."
Shot raised an eyebrow. "Why?"
Tony clenched his fists. "Because a hero must never look weak in front of his home."
Bang!
