A gunshot rang out.
Tony dodged just in time.
Shot smirked. "You're fast."
Aria lunged forward, aiming a punch at him, but Shot dodged effortlessly. Bang! He pulled the trigger again, and the bullet tore through Aria's arm.
Tony reacted instantly, grabbing Shot's arm and slamming him into the ground.
But Shot recovered quickly, twisting his body and delivering a powerful kick to Tony's chest. Tony stumbled backward and fell.
Bang!
Another shot rang out—this time hitting Tony in the leg.
Gritting his teeth, Tony forced himself back up, just as Aria did the same.
Tony clenched his fists. "I don't see a way for us to win this…"
"Tony! Watch your back!" Aria shouted.
Tony spun around—but it was too late.
Bang!
The shot hit him square in the chest. He collapsed to the ground.
Shot loomed over him. "You should have stood down."
Despite the pain, Aria remained calm. Sparks of electricity flickered around her gloves.
"Killer Shot… die."
With everything she had left, she unleashed a devastating surge of electricity—enough power to kill 100,000 blue whales combined.
The blast erupted, sending Aria flying backward from the sheer force.
The energy struck Shot head-on. His body convulsed as the electricity surged through him. He fell to the ground.
And then…
He smiled.
Shot tried to move his left hand—but it wouldn't respond.
He let out a low chuckle. "Didn't expect that…"
Slowly, he forced himself to stand. Aria was gone. The only one left on the ground was Tony, with Togo hovering beside him.
Shot pulled out his gun, aiming it at Tony's unmoving body.
"I have to make sure."
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
Five shots. Each one hitting Tony's chest.
Shot turned and walked away without a second glance.
Togo's voice rang with urgency. "Life in danger. Danger. Healing… Healing…"
Then, Togo paused.
"He… died."
In an instant, Togo teleported—vanishing from the battlefield and reappearing in a realm of absolute darkness. A place where everything had been destroyed.
Here, only shadows lived.
Togo's form began to shift. His mechanical body faded, revealing his true form—flesh and blood. His skin was pitch black, his eyes glowing an eerie blue. He wore pristine white robes that stood in stark contrast to the abyss around him.
He knelt on one knee and lowered his head.
"Master… Master… Master."
A figure emerged from the darkness.
An evil being.
Togo bowed deeper. "Master… he is dead."
The being's voice was calm. "I know."
Togo clenched his fists. "He has failed."
The being smiled. "No. He still has a chance."
Togo looked up. "What chance?"
The being snapped her fingers.
"Tony, win."
Togo vanished—returning to Tony's suit.
—
Back in the real world, Tony's wounds vanished. His body recovered instantly.
His eyes flickered open.
Slowly, he stood.
Shot turned around, sensing something.
His breath caught in his throat.
Tony was alive.
And his eyes… were filled with despair.
