Mythical Existence

The dragon lowered it's body, and suddenly it's near the two feeble humans.

The dragon stared at them, and they felt their soul trying to leave their body. It's was painful, it felt like your muscles leaving your body while the skin desperately constrict it.

Then it opened it's mouth, it's teeth was sharp they can feel space crack at the top of it's teeth.

It's mouth was black like the abyss, and they weren't able to see beyond it. They felt it's breath, it's breathe ran a huge storm of goosebumps on their body. It is an unsettling feeling, it's as if each hair on their body stood up multiple times without limping and standing again.

They just stood up, straighten as much as they can in front of the dragon multiple times.

Then a sound appeared in it's mouth, then everything in their body exploded.

Ear's was shattered, eyes gushed and become mushed, their body flew away. Colliding to the trees back in the forest stopping and colliding at the cave they killed the wolf like monster earlier.

But Yue Min got a little unlucky, instead of stopping on the collide she bounced and flew at the top of the mountain on top of a pretty large tree.

She wasn't able to escape, she wasn't even able to groan, she cannot see, she cannot hear, she cannot smell. Everything about her body was tired, she...was tired, continues fight has destroyed her and she was about to give up.

But then for some reason she felt pain, the only thing that spared her in the abyss of despair.

Her blessing ended, 10 minutes has passed. Her blessing was different from Russell but she has the same duration.

And when it ended in order for the sacrifice to actually effect, Bard healed her. Fixed some of her wounds that will cause her death, and so she was healed.

Her eyes came back, her nose was fixed, her ears was repaired, her senses was able to feel again. But it did not came out of good will, it was the opposite.

Even though she has different blessing activated, due to her also having no sacrifice she was given with the same sacrifice offer as Russell.

Her pain before the activation of the skill doubled, the cracking of her ribs felt like it was destroyed to a fine powdered.

The pain colliding with walls of the cave earlier doubled, now she feels that she was being crushed on a wall.

She was groaning in pain, screaming in pain. Her scream was loud and echoed through out the whole forest.

She doesn't want to live anymore, but because of the Bard healing she is.

Only the pain is what she's feeling, but her body was pretty fine now. The damage the dragons roar caused to her body was pretty much fixed.

The only actual damage her body is feeling is the pain of the her body colliding again with the cave earlier when her body flew. Which is almost nothing because of the buff from her blessing.

In hindsight she was lucky to slip and flew high to the top of the cave bringing her considerably away from the dragon.

Meanwhile Russell who collided with the remains of the cave and actually being stopped by it, is left facing the mythical existence of the crimson dragon.

He was healed by the Bard, and was in the same suffering as Yue Min. The feeling of his broken ribs got worse and felt like the broken bones were piercing his organs. Even though it was not, to him it was real enough.

Then his battered body earlier, felt like his body were crushed broke his bones all over his body.

He's suffering, but the dragon were only looking at him. It's seems like it was surprised that Russell the feeble human was still alive.

It looked at Russell curiously and Russell was dejected hope is slowly escaping his eye's. He never experienced this pain, even back when he still lives on the mountain fighting earth animals.

Tilting it's giant rectangular shaped head full of deady teeth's, death bringer horns, breathes that takes away sanity. It's existence were mythical and harrowing.

As the dragon looked at him he also is looking back, dejected but flame of anger is slowly creeping in his heart.

Honestly all this time Russell and the rest of the students, even humans of earth doesn't really have any major goal all this time. The students treat it like a terrorist attacked at their school which is basically their home.

So all this time his goal is to only survive, they have to survive and just that. Nothing grandiose as revenge or becoming a god just to survive.

Being at the top is nothing to them, afterall they are pretty much at the top. And that's why they are suffering with a different type of suffering beside physical pain.

Each of them never desired power, but freedom. To see their family again, to walk outside the walls of the academy, to be able to love someone you truly love.

Those kind mundane things is what pretty much every student in the academy wanted. But to Russell that was nothing, hell he liked it inside the academy a little because it's convenient.

So he doesn't have any grandiose reason when he was dragged away beside from being strong enough to survive. But that was slowly changing, fire of hatred swells deep in his heart. Slowly but surely, the more pain he felt the more hatred swells.

The dragon meanwhile is still curious, but a little flame immediately appeared on his mouth. Illuminating the dark abyss that he can't see earlier. It's disgusting as he thought, well it's pretty much the same as human throat. But something is bulging within at the top of it's throat, then the little fire got near it and suddenly became a fiery and chaotic the little flame was gone it became enormous.

The yellow base and orange tip of the fire was gone, it became red...crimson red, the base was darker almost akin to a black but there's a clear hint of crimson, it's tip became of that a red as it break-off from the base.

The flame was burning it was hot, he can feel the skin on his feet - the nearest body part he has to it's mouth. - start to melt from the heat of the flame.

But just as he was about to be cooked alive, the sun greeted the night. It was now a new day, normally the crimson dragon will just normally ignored it. As a new day doesn't really matter, but this particular area a new day means a new life.

That is because a particular mythical creatures also lived here in the forest, the main reason of why the crimson dragon wreck havoc in to this forest and burned the village.
