The Calm before the Storm

It was surprising everyone who seen it, let out a tired sighed and screamed a cursed.

It was depressing another one appeared, they cannot take a brake they just wanted.

Finally landing on the ships, the nine hundred humans were spread out to the rest of the ships. The still sane persons was leading the others, mainly composed of professor and other personel. The only sane person in the students currently is Yue Min and that is really critical right now considering what she just did. 

Since most of the students passed out earlier, either dealing with their Sacrifice or just passed out from the explosion. Nothing really happened when they landed to the ships, most of the professors regained their consciousness and sanity since they were trained to handle terrorist. They were able to communicate to the soldiers immediately and put the students to rest. The soldiers were shocked at the condition of the students specially the people who has blessings that automated, - like rose - the soldiers were afraid to get near them because most of them react to hostility and presence.

After a while of delivering the students to vacant rooms letting them sleep and rest for a while, a Soldier came near her. 

The soldier saluted itself in face of Yue Min "Ma'am! Let me help you with so you can take rest." 

Yue Min looked at him with piercing gazed her eyes stared to the soldiers soul. "No, thank you. I can carry him on my shoulders." 

The soldier raised an eyebrow in confusion and tried to retort, but Yue Min quickly stopped him by adding the ominous message delivered by Bard earlier, " Besides we have more important matter besides this guy. Call the captain or the commander now, there's something that is needed to discuss. "

The soldier's lips lowered in sadness and frowned, " But still...I think-"

Yue Min's eyes deepen and darken as that of a bottom of the ocean, " No, But's. Go get your captain now! "

The soldier being intimidated by Yue Min finally left her alone, and went into the soldiers interior.

Yue Min seeing the soldier flee in nervousness, let out a sigh and dropped Russell in the railing of the ship. 

" Wake up!.." Said by Yue Min while holding his shoulders and shaking him up. 

Then Russell slowly opened his eyes, the feeling of being burned is still fresh in his mind. As he opened his eyes Yue Min's figure slowly revealed itself in his eye's. 

Russell let out a smile as the figure of Yue Min became clearer and clearer, " Do you know Yu... Your well known for being the ice queen of china in the university for being so distanced to everyone. Yet I always somehow find myself wrapped in your arms." 

The Russell looked around his sorrounding the people and the students that were there earlier already went inside the ship the two of them were the ones left in the deck. Then he added, " Alone at that..."

Yue Min's eyes turned sky blue her iris became of that a heart and she smiled ear to ear, " what can I say it's hard taking care of a wrath burden individual like you." 

Russell sat himself up, using the railings as a support for his back. His body still doesn't have enough energy, to support himself mainly due to exhaustion of being continuesly burned. 

They talk a little bit more, then a familiar voice came behind Yue Min scaring her and giving her chills. 

" Yo Russ! There you are! Oh and Good day to you too Ms.Yue " Hearing it, Yue Min nodded, Russell's face brighten and replied, " Takehiko!! " It looks like Takehiko regained his sanity, the government officials must have helped him.

Immediately Russell tried to stand up, only to fail and fell to his knees. Yue Min seeing it supported Russell immediately, before he hurt himself. 

Seeing it Takehiko face soften and with worries in his eye's, " Are you okay? "

Russell was embarrassed by what happened, but thanked Yue Min for the great save." Yes! Compared to you... What happened..?" 

Takehiko hearing it, raised his hand to his back head and scratched it. " Well...it's y'know my sacrifice... I will lost a part of my body whenever I activate my blessing and... Depending on how much I want I will lost more or less..." 

Russell frowned that was such a disgusting Sacrifice, as his friend in front of him right now were one handed. Summoning the fifteen soldiers earlier cost him an arm entire arm although powerful it has a nasty Sacrifice.

Russell seeing his best friend arm missing, were enraged his forehead frown, his lips curved downward, his hands clasped to a fist. 

In his fit of rage he called Bard about to activate his blessing again, but this time Yue Min interrupted him. " What are you doing Russell! Are you trying to destroy the whole ship? You know you can't control your fire! And not only you were still not use to it therefore you were actually in your weakest form when using your blessing, it brings panic to everyone in the vicinity. So don't use it! Okay?! I'll take care of this guy missing arm for now! Just stay put! Don't hurt yourself! "

Russell eyes widen in shock, it's rare for Yue Min to get mad. This is the second time Yue Min got mad at him, last time is when he got too casual at her when there's too many people around risking his life. Which happened when he first got admitted to the university.

That's why it's a shock for him, he's been careful not to make her mad. But this time strangely enough he can't control his anger..

Regardless he calmed down and smile at Yue Min, " sorry… I think my emotions got too out of control… I'll do better please heal Takehiko." 

Takehiko meanwhile wasn't listening it's as if he's thinking about something, " Yue Min-san I have a question… can you answer it?"

Both Russell and Yue Min raised they're eyebrows in confusion then Yue Min replied, " Yes…" 

Russell was silent… he doesn't know what kind of question he's going to ask, he's praying though that it wasn't a question regarding Russell and Yue Min's past..

Takehiko looked at Yue Min in the eye, Takehiko eyes shine for a moment and then, " do you perhaps know me? "
