Katherine lay on her bed, swaddled in a comfy blue blanket. She was in her pajamas, eating dinner as the TV played a random reality show titled "Love At Paris" in the background. The soft glow of the screen illuminated her face as she called Hailey. 


"Absolutely fucking not!" Hailey's voice rang please loudly through the phone, almost blowing Katherine's brain out. To be honest, she'd expected this reaction form Katherine. "There's no way in hell you're actually considering this." 


"But, I'm curious," Katherine replied, her voice soft as usual. 


"Sweetie, you read books. Haven't you ever come across the phrase 'Curiosity killed the cat?'" Hailey retorted. 


"Well, not knowing is also killing me. Can one conversation between us really end up badly? Zayn said he has no intention of starting a relationship with me," Katherine argued.
