Katherine stood in front of her full-length mirror, slipping into her casual yet eye-catching outfit. She chose a fitted white blouse that tucked neatly into high-waisted black jeans, accentuating her figure without being over the top. The blouse had pearl-embellished buttons that added a touch of elegance, while the jeans were ripped at the knees, giving the ensemble a laid-back vibe. Over this, she threw on a cropped, studded leather jacket that oozed attitude. Her combat boots, glossy and adorned with silver buckles, gave the perfect flash of edginess. She added a pop of color with a crimson scarf, casually draped around her neck, and completed the look with bold gold hoop earrings and a stylish wristwatch. Her dark hair fell in loose waves, and a touch of mascara brought out the green in her eyes. 


Just as she was reaching for her boots to pull them on, her phone buzzed on the bedside table. She leaned over to pick it up, noticing a text from Zayn.
