Chapter 51

Hoon's eyes locked onto the screen, his mind racing with possibilities. Who could be sending him these messages? And how did they know about their mission?

His assistant's voice cut through his thoughts. "Hoon, we need to trace the number," she said.

Hoon nodded, already on it. He quickly forwarded the message to their tech expert, who began tracing the number.

As they waited for the results, Jake spoke up. "We need to assume that the trafficking ring has a mole within our organization," he said.

His assistant's eyes widened. "You think someone on our team is working with the traffickers?" she asked.

Jake nodded. "It's possible," he said. "We need to be careful about who we trust."

Hoon's eyes narrowed. He didn't like the idea of a mole within their organization. He was determined to find out who it was and take them down.

Just then, their tech expert burst into the room. "I've got something," he said. "The number is registered to a shell company, but I managed to track the IP address to a location in the city."

Hoon's eyes locked onto the tech expert. "Where?" he asked.

The tech expert hesitated. "It's a warehouse on the outskirts of the city," he said. "But Hoon, I have to warn you. The IP address is still active. Whoever is sending these messages is still online."

Here's the next part:

Hoon's eyes locked onto the tech expert. "Get me the exact location of the warehouse," he said.

The tech expert nodded and quickly pulled up the location on his computer. Hoon's eyes scanned the screen, committing the address to memory.

"Let's move out," Jake said, already heading for the door.

His personal guards had joined him at the headquarters followed close behind with Jake, Their guns ready. Hoon brought up the rear, his eyes scanning the surrounding area for any signs of danger.

As they arrived at the warehouse, Hoon could feel his heart pounding in his chest. He knew that they were taking a risk by coming here, but he was determined to catch the person behind the messages.

Jake motioned for them to fan out, covering the entrances and exits to the warehouse. The guards took point, moving stealthily towards the front door.

Hoon covered the rear, his eyes scanning the area for any signs of movement. Suddenly, he heard a faint noise coming from inside the warehouse.

He signaled to Jake and guards they moved in, guns drawn. As they entered the warehouse, Hoon's eyes adjusted to the dim light.

And that's when he saw her. A figure, standing in the shadows, watching them.

Hoon stepped forward, his eyes locked onto the figure in the shadows. "I think it's time we had a little chat," he said, his voice low and menacing.

The figure didn't move, but Hoon could sense a flicker of unease. He smiled, his eyes glinting with amusement.

"Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "At least, not yet."

Jake moved forward, his gun still trained on the figure. "Hoon, let's not forget what we're here for," he said, his voice firm.

Hoon's eyes flicked towards Jake.

"Of course, Jake," he said. "I'm just trying to... facilitate the conversation."

The figure in the shadows took a step forward, and the rest could see that it was a woman. She was dressed in a simple white shirt and black pants, and her hair was pulled back into a tight ponytail.

"Who are you?" Leo one of guards asked, his gun still trained on the woman.

The woman's eyes flicked towards Hoon, and for a moment, Jake thought she saw a flash of fear. But then, the woman's expression smoothed out, and she spoke.

"My name is Elara," she said. "And I'm here to deliver a message from my employer."

Hoon's eyes locked onto Elara, "And who might that employer be?" Hoon asked, his voice dripping with menace.

Elara's eyes flicked towards Hoon, and for a moment, But then, Elara spoke.

"My employer is the one they call... the Archon."
