What have gathered is; Nivera is an ancient witch, based on the story's description. She adopted Russel whom she saved in one of he chapters. Then we jump years later where other witches hunt children I don't know for what reason and Russel is just trying to find Agari who is presumably dead. Ithink the story has a good background and promises a lot of development and I'm loving the characters so far, especially the guardian that is presented as this important entity but he's just a silly little boy, and Faolan. l'm super invested in his abilities. I'm still not sure about Cirrus even though he's supposed to be their leader, he seems to lack confidence, and we haven't seen him in a real fight. And the prince and princes cut on a Cliffhanger and an introduction to a puppet that could potentially be his own person which is super cool
I haven't read much but it seems interesting, I'm assuming Russel is the main character which is why he's the only one with a first point of view perspective, but it would be nice to have one for the other characters because I can't tell yet who would be the villain. I like the Guardian, he doesn't seem like much of an entity, more like an employee.
