Spirit Hall City, Offering Hall
"That is all, Great Elder. Young Miss has entrusted me with only these instructions."
Spear Dragon Douluo She Long knelt on one knee, addressing the golden-haired middle-aged man before him.
This man appeared to be in his thirties or forties, with a handsome face and a faint smile that exuded calmness and serenity, giving off an aura of comfort. He was tall but not overly muscular, dressed in a simple gray robe. His neatly combed golden hair cascaded down his back. Despite his plain attire, his mere presence commanded reverence.
This was Qian Daoliu, the Sky Douluo, one of the three Limitless Douluo of this era—Unrivaled Of The Sky.
On either side of Qian Daoliu stood three individuals:
- A white-haired elder clad in a golden robe with silver embroidery, radiating immense power at level 98—Golden Crocodile Douluo.
- A strikingly beautiful man with short navy-blue hair, cyan eyes, and bangs the color of azure skies. Dressed in a turquoise shrine robe, he was Qing Luan Douluo, with spirit power at level 97.
- A burly figure in golden armor and red robes, with fiery orange hair and beard—Lion Douluo, whose spirit power reached level 96.
- A youthful-looking individual with his left eye covered by frost, silver hair, and a left arm resembling ice due to his martial soul. Wearing a light gray robe, he was Guang Ling Douluo, also at level 96.
- A tall, handsome man with a black bun hairstyle, gray-blue eyes, and a scar over his right eye. Clad in golden armor and draped in a purple shrine robe, wearing a matching headband, he was Jiang Jun Douluo, with spirit power at level 96, titled Qian Jun.
- Another tall, handsome man with black short hair and dark red eyes, dressed in golden armor and a red shrine robe. Bearing a resemblance to Jiang Jun Douluo, he was the seventh elder, Jiang Long Douluo, also at level 96, titled Jiang Mo.
These were the highest combatants of Spirit Hall. Even Spear Dragon Douluo felt uneasy in their presence.
"Xiao Xue wants to recruit this young genius? Second soul ring a thousand years, third soul ring eight thousand years, and a staff-type martial soul? Sixth and Seventh Elders, are you interested?"
Qian Daoliu smiled inwardly, delighted. Qian Renxue had laid out the stakes clearly—to build her own foundation, eh? Hmph, she's grown up. (A/N: Qian Renxue is currently 17 years old and a Spirit King.)
"Though the second soul ring is impressive, he's still just a Spirit Elder. Teaching apprentices is too troublesome—it's far more interesting to fight strong opponents."
Jiang Long Douluo said casually, picking at his ear with his pinky.
The other elders and Spear Dragon Douluo: ...
"Seventh Elder! Show some decorum! Where is your dignity as a shrine elder?"
Jiang Jun Douluo reprimanded sternly.
"I understand, I understand," Jiang Long Douluo replied, straightening up after hearing his brother's words.
"What do you think, Sixth Elder?" Golden Crocodile Douluo knew Jiang Long Douluo was reliable only in battle, so he turned to Jiang Jun Douluo instead.
"Hmm... I believe we should observe further. If Young Miss can bring this child under her wing, it wouldn't be a problem for me and Seventh Elder to take him as our disciple. We lack a successor, and there are no outstanding talents among the younger generation of our Coiling Dragon Ancient Family.
If this child can assist Young Miss, then becoming his teacher wouldn't be an issue. He's only just begun his journey—we need to see more."
Jiang Jun Douluo remained calm and strategic, presenting the most balanced viewpoint. Adaptability was key.
"Very well. She Long, return and inform Little Xue that his talent is only beginning to show. The two elders wish to observe further. Ideally, try to bring him into Spirit Hall."
Qian Daoliu instructed Spear Dragon Douluo.
"Yes, I shall take my leave." Spear Dragon Douluo departed, carrying the Great Elder's message back to Qian Renxue while resuming his role as her guard.
The elders dispersed to their respective cultivation areas. However, one exception remained— Jiang Jun Douluo left the Shrine Hall and headed toward the Barak Kingdom.
Only Qian Daoliu noticed this, a faint smile playing on his lips. "It seems Jun values finding a successor greatly. He even left secretly. I suspect he intends to investigate the boy personally."
---
Meanwhile, Jiang Jun Douluo flew toward the Barak Kingdom
"I wonder if this kid lives up to the rumors of being a prodigy. I must see for myself. If he truly is talented, taking him as a disciple wouldn't be a bad idea. Unfortunately, our family has fallen on hard times—no one with innate spirit power above level eight."
Qian Jun Douluo muttered to himself.
At the speed of a Super Douluo, it would only take a few days to reach the Barak Kingdom.
Spirit Hall's intelligence network was highly efficient. Qian Jun Douluo already knew where Li Luochen resided. This time, he wanted to observe the boy up close to assess his abilities.

Barak Kingdom, Soto City, Shrek Academy
Currently, only Li Luochen, Dugu Yan, Li Yusong, and Lu Qibin remained at the academy. Flender and Zhao Wuji had taken Shao Xin, Oscar, and Ma Hongjun to the Star Dou Forest to hunt soul beasts.
Dugu Bo, after resting for a day, had set off to wander the continent, seeking out old rivals to settle past grievances.
At this moment, Li Luochen was sparring with Dugu Yan. Unbeknownst to him, he had already caught the attention of a level 96 Super Douluo.
"Come on, Yanzi, attack me. You're now a close-combat battle-type Spirit Elder. You need to hone your melee skills. Focus on aggressive close combat, with poison as a supplement. Combining both might yield surprising results."
Li Luochen spoke to Dugu Yan. After her martial soul evolved into the Golden Scale Azure Dragon, it became a top-tier beast-type martial soul, rivaling the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon. Additionally, she awakened the Dragon Transformation Secret Technique.
Her left dragon claw, empowered by Dragon Transformation, could stack multiple augmentations. Using a soul skill followed by Dragon Transformation doubled its effects—for instance, if a soul skill increased speed, attack, or defense by 50%, applying Dragon Transformation afterward raised the total amplification to 2.5 times. This made her even stronger than the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon.
Moreover, her dragon claws were laced with deadly poison. Once struck, the toxins would seep into the opponent's body, worsening their condition over time. In close combat, Du Gu Yan was nearly invincible—unless facing someone like Li Luochen, who was immune to poisons. Unfortunately, having previously focused on control-type techniques, she was still adapting to her new aggressive style.
However, Dugu Yan was a girl of great determination. With her fighting spirit ignited, her progress over the past few days had been tremendous. Her close-combat abilities had improved significantly, ensuring she wouldn't suffer the same beating she endured during their first encounter.

Outside Shrek Academy
"Hmm... This boy has quite a deep understanding of combat. So Dugu Yan's martial soul has evolved? It seems Dugu Bo has encountered great fortune—but it's none of my concern."
Jun Douluo had arrived some time ago and observed Li Luochen training Dugu Yan. He now had a new impression of the boy.
