{T/N: Demon-Sealing Douluo is Jiang Mo Douluo, the brother of Qian Jun Douluo}

Half a month after returning to Shrek Academy, one night, as Li Luochen was reading a book, a voice suddenly reached his ears.

"Disciple, meet me at the usual place."

Upon hearing this, Li Luochen went outside Shrek Academy to a secluded valley—this was where Qian Jun Douluo had previously instructed him in staff techniques.

Li Luochen immediately activated his Dragon Wing soul bone to fly. Since Qian Jun Douluo already knew about his external soul bone, there was no need to hide it.

Before long, Li Luochen arrived at the valley. This time, however, not only was Qian Jun Douluo present but also a man who bore a striking resemblance to him—about seventy percent similar.

Li Luochen guessed this must be Jiang Mo Douluo. When Qian Jun Douluo saw Li Luochen, he frowned slightly.

The last time he had visited, Li Luochen's soul power was at level forty-five, but now it had soared to level fifty-seven.

"Sixth Brother, is this your disciple? Fifty-seven levels? Didn't you say he was at forty-five? How did he improve so much?" Jiang Mo Douluo muttered after taking a closer look.

Qian JunDouluo instantly teleported to Li Luochen's side and placed a hand on his shoulder, using his soul power to investigate.

He was worried that his disciple might have learned some forbidden techniques from fallen soul masters, which could explain the sudden surge in cultivation. If that were the case, he would have no choice but to take drastic measures to ensure the peace of the land.

However, upon investigation, he found that Li Luochen's soul power wasn't chaotic or unstable—it was incredibly deep and refined, comparable in quality to that of a Soul Douluo. It didn't resemble the soul power generated by evil methods at all.

Moreover, his blood vitality was strong, and his soul power was pure—not tainted by any malevolent forces. But why had his cultivation risen so quickly? Qian Jun Douluo couldn't understand.

"Disciple, can you tell me why your cultivation has advanced so rapidly?" Qian Jun Douluo asked cautiously, aware that this might be a sensitive secret his disciple wasn't willing to share, even with his master.

"Well, when Grandpa Dugu went traveling, he encountered several rare heavenly treasures. I consumed one called the Singular Velvet Sky Chrysanthemum, which caused my soul power to skyrocket.

Additionally, when I was younger, I discovered the unique properties of whale jelly. It's not just an aphrodisiac—it's actually a type of heavenly treasure that can enhance a soul master's level and physical conditioning. My second soul ring was obtained this way. As for how exactly to use it…

That's pretty much it. By absorbing higher-level soul rings and obtaining a right leg bone, I reached level fifty-seven."

Li Luochen gave a simplified version of the truth, omitting certain details. Qian Jun Douluo and Jiang Mo Douluo weren't sure whether to believe him—could whale jelly, typically used as an aphrodisiac, really have such effects? They decided to test it themselves later.

Qian Jun Douluo had already received quite a few surprises from Li Luochen. During their first meeting, Li Luochen had casually mentioned information about the Hao Tian Sect. After returning to the Hall of Elders, Qian Jun Douluo privately sought out Qingluan Douluo.

He asked Qingluan Douluo to secretly visit the Hao Tian Sect and investigate its current state. Though Qingluan Douluo didn't know why he was asked, he went anyway—and what he discovered shocked him.

The current leader of the Hao Tian Sect, Tang Xiao, had reached level ninety-five, while the second elder had peaked at level ninety-three. Aside from the seventh elder, who was still at level eighty-nine, all other elders were Title Douluos.

The Hao Tian Sect now boasted five Title Douluos—a revelation that stunned the Hall of Elders. How had the sect accumulated such strength in just a few years after going into seclusion?

It was hard to imagine. Even Qian Jun Douluo was surprised—he didn't know how his disciple had learned this information, but it was undoubtedly valuable intelligence for the Spirit Hall. During his covert investigation, Qingluan Douluo had uncovered some additional details.

The Hao Tian Sect was secretly plotting to overthrow the Spirit Hall, steadily amassing strength while waiting for Tang Chen's return or for Tang Xiao to break through to level ninety-nine.

Qingluan Douluo sneered at such ambitions. Waiting for Tang Chen's return seemed more realistic—breaking through to level ninety-nine? How absurdly difficult!

Even Qingluan Douluo, whose soul power had reached level ninety-seven, had been stuck at the peak of that level for over a decade, unable to advance to level ninety-eight.

Though gaining insight into one's spirit could aid in progression, the best method was acquiring a hundred-thousand-year soul ring. All three Limit Douluos possessed such soul rings, and the sole level ninety-eight Gold Crocodile Douluo also had one.

Despite Qingluan Douluo's ninth soul ring being a ninety-five-thousand-year one, there was still a noticeable gap compared to a hundred-thousand-year soul ring. A hundred-thousand-year soul ring could transform a soul master's body enough to smoothly reach level ninety-eight.

Possessing a hundred-thousand-year soul ring was essentially equivalent to having the potential to reach level ninety-eight. The bottleneck for Super Douluos was significantly smaller, which was why hundred-thousand-year soul rings and soul bones were considered priceless treasures.

They could elevate soul masters to unprecedented heights. Starting from level ninety-seven, each level represented a new realm. Without such resources, weaker soul masters would be easily crushed by stronger opponents.

Take the previous Sword Douluo, father of the current Sword Dao Chen Xin, Chen Jianjun. Despite possessing the top-tier offensive weapon spirit, the Seven Kill Sword, and reaching level ninety-seven, he was severely injured by the Great Elder Sky Douluo Qian Daoliu with ease.

Qian Daoliu simply used his overwhelming soul power to repel Chen Jianjun's nine "Kill" strikes, injuring him in the process. Not long after, Chen Jianjun passed away.

Setting aside the Limit Douluos, even the level ninety-eight Gold Crocodile Douluo was terrifyingly powerful. With his current strength, he could easily handle a combined assault from Qingluan, Xiongshi, and Guangling Douluos.

Though the Gold Crocodile Douluo had lost his ambition and fighting spirit, he was still unmatched by Qingluan Douluo.

As for the ignorant members of the Hao Tian Sect claiming that Tang Xiao could ascend to level ninety-nine—they were delusional. Qingluan Douluo could clearly see that Tang Xiao's limit was level ninety-seven; breaking through to ninety-eight might take decades.

For those like him, stuck at level ninety-seven without a hundred-thousand-year soul ring, advancing to ninety-eight was exceedingly difficult. Unless they experienced a sudden burst of enlightenment and broke through in one go, they could only rely on time to slowly grind forward.

For now, Qingluan Douluo couldn't see a clear path to level ninety-eight. The only person in the Hao Tian Sect with a chance to reach level ninety-nine was Tang Hao—but he had already been expelled from the sect. How laughable! The mighty Hammer of War Souls, the towering Hao Tian Sect? What a joke.

Without Tang Chen, they were nothing but stray dogs. The so-called strongest weapon spirit? Pathetic.

Back to Qian Jun Douluo and Li Luochen

Li Luochen briefly explained his recent opportunities, omitting details about his Spirit-Crushing Demon-Breaking Head Bone, Tyrant Dragon Spine Bone, and the Ice-Fire Dual Eye. He shared everything else he could.

On the continent of Douluo, the bond between master and disciple was sacred. A soul master could only have one teacher in their lifetime (a rule introduced by some fool). Li Luochen felt that Qian Jun Douluo was a decent teacher who wouldn't covet his soul bones.

Both Qian Jun Douluo and Jiang Mo Douluo were astonished by Li Luochen's opportunities. At this point, the Coiling Dragon Staff in Li Luochen's hands seemed to surpass their own Dragon-Coiling Staves.

"You say you want to go to the City of Slaughter for training? Do you even know what kind of place that is?" Jiang Mo Douluo immediately felt that this young man was overly confident and unaware of the dangers.

"Of course I do. It's a haven for criminals and a gathering place for fallen soul masters. But I've heard there are opportunities there. Moreover, I want to experience real combat and hone my staff techniques."

Li Luochen spoke calmly. He wanted to temper himself in the City of Slaughter, and perhaps even make a favorable impression on the God of Slaughter. He was confident that he was no weaker than the young Tang Chen—in fact, he believed he was far stronger.

After all, the youngest Title Douluo record was set by Tang Hao, and Tang Chen certainly hadn't become a Title Douluo by age forty-four.

But Li Luochen was confident he could achieve the title before turning thirty-five. Surely, that alone should catch the God of Slaughter's attention?
