You are My Addiction

Tired of Manik's constant harassment, Kavya arrived at the office nervously. As soon as she reached her desk, she saw Manik already waiting for her with a smile. "Good morning, sweetheart," he said softly, standing close. "You're so late. I was dying to see you." Kavya ignored him and quietly sat at her desk, but Manik sat beside her, smiling, and started showing her work.

Manik was unusually happy today — almost intoxicated with something — which made him even more troubling for Kavya. He would tightly hold her hand, sip her leftover coffee, and stick close to her, constantly brushing against her, making her incredibly uncomfortable. Fed up, Kavya asked him to meet her in the storeroom.

"Please, Manik, stop these shameless actions," she pleaded. "There's no relationship between us, and there never will be. Please stay away from me." But Manik didn't listen. After silently hearing her out, he grew irritated, pinned her to the wall, and leaned in close. "I told you once — I won't leave you. Don't make me lose my mind, Kavya."

Without warning, Manik forcefully kissed her, his obsession overpowering her protests. Despite her struggles, Manik's grip was too strong. His rough, aggressive kisses left her lips swollen and pale, tears flowing from her eyes. "Why are you doing this to me? What did I ever do to you?" she asked through her tears. Manik cupped her face gently, brushing her lips with his fingers, and said, "I wish I was just trying to take revenge. But the truth is, I'm madly in love with you. If you leave me, I'll lose my mind. Please stop resisting."

Kavya was furious with herself, wondering why she ever crossed paths with him. Angrily, she pushed him away and left for the office. But Manik's obsession only grew — "I'll make her mine, no matter what," he thought.

That evening, Kavya avoided everyone and went straight home, but Manik kept calling her. When she finally answered, she snapped, "Leave me alone!" But Manik only laughed. "Sweetheart, say something new. Anyway, I was worried when you didn't come to the bar. But okay, rest for now — and remember, I'm never letting you go."

Later, unable to resist, Manik went to her apartment. Kavya's friend Jyoti opened the door, shocked to see him. Before Kavya could react, Manik dragged her into her room, locked the door, and once again kissed her forcefully — playing with her soft pink lips until he was satisfied. "Sorry, I couldn't help myself. Please don't disappear on me again." Hugging her tightly, he left, leaving Kavya trembling in fear.

Kavya knew running away wasn't an option — it would ruin Jyoti's job and force her to explain everything to her family. She also couldn't go to the police — her family would never let her work again if they found out. Desperate, she spent the night writing her resignation letter, hoping it would end this nightmare.

The next day, when Kavya handed her resignation to Nikhil, he was shocked. "Is something wrong? Please tell me — I'll help you." But Kavya remained silent. Nikhil suspected Manik was behind it and immediately called him in. "What have you done, Manik? Kavya wants to quit. She's not herself anymore. Are you harassing her?"

Manik was already furious at the resignation news. "I love her, but she refuses to accept it. That's all." Nikhil was stunned — his best friend had fallen this hard, and he never even noticed. Meanwhile, Manik dragged Kavya into the storeroom, pinned her against the wall, and warned her, "I told you not to do this. If you resign, I'll do something you can't even imagine."

Despite her fear, Kavya stood her ground. "I know you just want to sleep with me, but I won't let you." Manik was shocked — yes, he had wild thoughts about her, but hearing her say it hurt. Furious, he stormed out, ripped her resignation into pieces, and warned Nikhil — "Tell her, she's not going anywhere without my permission."

At the bar that night, everyone knew about Kavya's resignation and tried to convince her to stay. Kavya sat silently, regretting showing up — terrified of what Manik would do next. Manik, drinking non-stop while glaring at her, was already losing control. When a friend jokingly mentioned Kavya's fiancé, Manik's world shattered. He stormed out with her, demanding to know if it was true. Fed up, Kavya snapped, "Yes, I'm engaged! Now will you leave me alone?"

Heartbroken, Manik returned to his apartment, destroying everything in sight. His heart ached more than his wounds. After finishing a whole bottle, he screamed, "You'll have to leave him. You're mine!"

The next day, Manik was waiting at the office — his aura so dark it terrified Kavya. He dragged her to the storeroom again, kissing her roughly despite her protests. Biting her lips, forcing his tongue into her mouth, his aggressive kisses left her crying. "I want to sleep with you, Kavya," he whispered. Disgusted, she slapped him hard — "You're disgusting."

Kavya skipped work for the next two days, driving Manik insane. Fearing she might have gotten married, he planned with Nikhil to lure Jyoti to a party, hoping Kavya would come. When she didn't, he broke into her apartment using a spare key. Drunk and desperate, he begged her, "Just once, Kavya — after that, I'll leave you alone forever."

Exhausted and realizing nothing would stop him, Kavya hatched a plan. She brought him a document — a legal agreement stating that after one night together, they would become complete strangers. Manik, too drunk to think, signed it immediately.

Kavya locked the papers away, telling herself, "Just endure tonight. After this, he'll be gone forever." She handed him a glass of lemon water, but Manik pushed it aside, pinning her to the wall — "I only want you, Kavya."
