The room was filled with bright sunlight streaming in through the window in the morning. The rays falling directly on her eyes disturbed Kavya, and she slowly opened her eyes. As soon as she did, she felt a sharp pain all over her body, making it difficult for her to even sit up. After a night full of intimacy, Kavya didn't have the strength to get out of bed. She slowly turned her gaze to the other side of the bed, where Manik was sleeping peacefully.

One week ago...

Kavya worked at a company in Mumbai along with her friend Jyoti. Her life was going pretty well — work, family, friends — she was complete and happy in every way. But two days ago, a colleague named Dinesh had forced Jyoti to get into a relationship with him. When Kavya found out, her anger shot through the roof. That crazy idiot... how dare he! An angry Kavya spent the next day at the office looking for Dinesh, but then found out he was on leave. So, after work, she got some information from a friend about Dinesh and went to meet him.

She stood outside a café, waiting for Dinesh, who was sitting inside with someone. After some time, when Dinesh stepped out of the café, Kavya walked straight up to him and gave him a tight slap, saying angrily, "If I see you near my friend again, I'll kill you!" Dinesh was left rubbing his cheek, too scared to say a word. But all of this was witnessed by Manik, Dinesh's best friend, who had just returned from the US that very day.

The moment Manik saw Kavya, it was like he lost all sense of reality. He stood there, smiling, unable to take his eyes off her boldness and beauty — something Kavya had no idea about. Completely unaware that someone was eyeing her with such intensity, Kavya left after warning Dinesh.

After Kavya left, Manik mocked Dinesh, saying, "That slap must have hurt! By the way, who was that daring angel?" Dinesh, still holding his cheek, replied bitterly, "Angel? She's not an angel — she's a living ghost!" Manik couldn't help but laugh. "Really? Well then, I definitely need an introduction. What's the name of this angel... I mean, ghost?" Dinesh was surprised to see Manik so interested in Kavya. "Her name is Kavya. She's the most popular, hardworking, and hottest girl in the office. But let me tell you — don't even think about making a move on her. She's way out of your league."

The more Dinesh talked about Kavya, the more intrigued Manik became. "If she's that tough, it'll be even more fun... Kavya — her name is as bold and beautiful as she is."

From the moment Manik saw Kavya, nothing else seemed to matter. He lay on the top of his car on a deserted road, thinking about her. "This girl is going to be difficult, so I'll have to take a tricky route." Her face was stuck in his mind. After a while, he called someone, "I want every single detail about Kavya, no matter how small — before sunrise." Without waiting for a reply, he hung up the call.

The next morning, Manik woke up, checked his phone sleepily, then suddenly sat up and grabbed his laptop. He opened his email and found a file — it was Kavya's complete profile. "Oh God… this girl is really smart." After thoroughly going through her details, Manik made a call, summoning someone to his house immediately. After hanging up, he headed for the shower.

Later, all dressed up and having breakfast at the dining table, the doorbell rang. When Manik opened the door, Nikhil stood there in his formal suit. "Hello..." Nikhil's greeting was ignored as Manik returned to his breakfast. Annoyed, Nikhil asked, "At least say hello — we're meeting after so long! Anyway, why did you call me here?" Without looking at him, Manik said, "I'm going to join the company as an intern. Assign me under Kavya."

Nikhil was completely shocked and a bit irritated. "Are you joking? You own the company, and you want to work under someone?!" Nikhil was already frustrated with Manik's erratic behavior. "You didn't show up at the office yesterday, then you asked for Kavya's details, and now this internship stunt? What the hell is going on with you?" But Manik, as usual, remained calm. "Any problem, Mr. Manager? Anyway, I'm not here to argue — just do it as quickly as possible."

Nikhil tried hard to reason with Manik, but knowing his stubbornness, he realized it was pointless. In the end, Nikhil had no choice but to agree. "Fine, but at least tell me why." Manik wasn't ready to reveal anything yet. "Ask me later. I'm going out now. If I'm not hired by tonight, your job will be in danger tomorrow. See you." With that, Manik left, leaving Nikhil wondering, What the hell is wrong with him?

As usual, Kavya was at her desk working when Nikhil called her into his office. There, he introduced her to Manik. "Kavya, this is Manik — our new intern. I want you to train him." Unaware of Manik's obsession, Nikhil handed her over to him.

Without any questions, Kavya simply said okay and led Manik back to her desk. Almost every girl in the office was eyeing hot and sexy Manik, except Kavya. Manik wondered, Is she into girls or something? A guy like me is sitting right next to her, and she doesn't even care?! Lost in his thoughts, Manik sat beside Kavya while she explained work to him. But Manik wasn't paying attention to the work — his entire focus was on her. She's even more beautiful up close — her lips, her eyes, her hair… God, everything's perfect. All Manik could think about was Kavya.

Throughout the day, Manik kept trying to get physically closer to Kavya — holding her hand, leaning in too close — basically flirting with her. But Kavya, being focused on work, didn't notice much. Morning turned to afternoon, but Kavya didn't fall for Manik's charms. No girl has ever ignored me like this… It's frustrating but fun. Kavya's really something.

When lunchtime came, everyone went to the cafeteria, where Manik sat directly across from Kavya. Once again, she didn't react. Frustrated, Manik asked, "Do you like girls?" Shocked, Kavya glared at him, their eyes locking for the first time. Manik's heartbeat quickened. This was the first time since morning that she even looked at him. Slamming her spoon on the table, Kavya replied, "No. I'm into guys. And by the way, I'm sorry if I disappointed you, but I'm not interested in you at all." With that, she walked away, leaving Manik stunned. "I've never been rejected like this before… Unbelievable. No wonder Dinesh calls her a ghost."

After work, some of her friends dragged her to a bar for drinks and games — all part of Manik's plan. They started playing Truth or Dare, and when Manik's turn came, he chose Dare. A girl dared him to kiss any girl in the bar. Before anyone could stop him, Manik walked straight up to Kavya and softly kissed her lips. Kavya was stunned, speechless, and angry. "What the hell?!" Grabbing her bag, she stormed out.

Manik followed her, grabbing her hand. "Kavya, wait, please listen…" She yanked her hand away, shouting, "Stay away from me!" Manik, losing patience, blurted, "I love you!" Shocked, Kavya slapped him hard. "Don't come near me again!"

But Manik wasn't ready to give up. Drunk and desperate, he pushed her against the wall and kissed her deeply. Furious, Kavya pushed him away and left, tears in her eyes.
