kavya stood outside the company for a long time, debating whether she should go in or not. After much hesitation, she finally decided to step inside. As she entered, she carefully observed everything around her, but she couldn't go far because the security guards refused to let her meet Vivek Oberoi without an appointment.

She had overheard Manik mentioning Vivek Oberoi's name in a phone conversation the night before. Vivek Oberoi was one of the top businessmen, and the fact that Manik was associated with him raised several questions in her mind. What connection did Manik have with such a powerful person? The thought was eating away at her.

It was shocking for Kavya, but she had no time to get an appointment. She knew that meeting Vivek Oberoi might give her some answers about what Manik was doing behind her back. The guards asked her to wait in the waiting area, but she had limited time. It was already getting late, and she had to return before Manik got home. If he found out, he would be on alert.

After waiting for a while, Kavya decided to leave. Just as she was stepping out of the company, she accidentally bumped into a girl and fell. She quickly apologized, as her mind was preoccupied elsewhere. She was about to walk away again when her eyes caught a reflection in a large mirror—it was Nikhil!

"Nikhil sir...!" Kavya exclaimed in surprise.

Hearing his name, Nikhil turned around, and for a moment, he couldn't believe his eyes. "Kavya? Is that really you?"

Nikhil was just as shocked as he was happy. After all, the best employee of his company and the lead of their project was standing right in front of him. "Kavya, you have no idea how happy I am to see you here! But how come you're suddenly here?"

Kavya and Nikhil went to a nearby café to talk. Nikhil explained that their project had been taken over by Vivek Oberoi, which is why their entire team had to move here.

Listening to him, things started making sense to Kavya. "So, this was all Manik's dirty plan!" she thought angrily. She was furious that she had walked right into his trap so easily. Suddenly, Jyoti came to her mind.

"You said the entire team is here, right? Can you please tell me about Jyoti? I haven't been able to contact her."

Hearing this, Nikhil chuckled. "Jyoti is in high demand these days. Even Manik was asking about her a few days ago."

At the mention of Manik, Nikhil suddenly fell silent for a moment before asking, "Wait… is Manik with you?"

"Yes, for now. We're staying at his brother's house," Kavya replied.

Nikhil was shocked because he knew that Manik's brother was already living in his own house. Suspicious, he asked for the address. Kavya, without questioning him, shared the address and then asked again about Jyoti.

Nikhil told her that Jyoti had a minor accident and had taken some time off. "If you want to meet her, she comes to the hospital every evening for checkups," he added.

Kavya immediately left for the hospital. After some searching, she finally spotted Jyoti walking out of a doctor's cabin.

"Jyoti!" Kavya called out.

Seeing her, Jyoti was completely stunned. "Kavya… you're here?"

The two best friends hugged tightly, overwhelmed with emotions. They hadn't spoken in days, and their reunion was long overdue. Jyoti took Kavya to a nearby restaurant. As they ordered food, she noticed something was off with Kavya.

"You look so lost. Is everything okay? And are you here to rejoin the company?" Jyoti asked curiously.

Kavya had no answers. She could tell that Jyoti had no clue about the messages or Manik's involvement. If she told her now, she would only worry. She had to find a way to escape Manik's trap and return home.

Changing the topic, Kavya asked about Jyoti's condition.

"Oh, it was just a small accident," Jyoti smiled. "As for surviving here, it wasn't too bad. Do you remember Dinesh, our team leader? He helped me a lot. In fact… he even quit his job for me. I feel shy saying this, but… we're dating now."

Hearing this, Kavya's mind went blank. Everything was now clear to her. Her last doubt had been resolved—so it was Dinesh who had sent that disgusting message! That bastard!

Snapping out of her thoughts, she forced a smile. "Jyoti, why don't you come with me? You can meet Manik and thank him personally!"

Jyoti thought it was a great idea, so she quickly paid the bill, and they left together.

Meanwhile, Nikhil kept calling Manik to thank him for bringing Kavya to Bangkok, but Manik ignored all his calls, irritating him.

"This idiot never picks up!" Nikhil muttered.

At that moment, Manik was relaxing in a café with Dinesh, discussing their future plans.

"You should call your brother, Manik," Dinesh suggested. "He's been searching for you like crazy. After all, you left such an important job."

Manik sighed in frustration. "Absolutely not. I'm in no mood to listen to his nonsense right now."

On the other hand, Kavya had figured out Manik and Dinesh's entire plan. Now, it was time to let Manik know that she wasn't a fool. She made Jyoti sit in the living room and went to make coffee. Meanwhile, she texted Manik:

"Someone is here to meet you."

The moment Manik received the message, his head spun. Who could it be? Only Dinesh knew he was here. Could it be Vivek Oberoi? If so, he was in big trouble. He couldn't let Vivek meet Kavya under any circumstances!

Panicking, Manik rushed home. But as soon as he saw Jyoti sitting there, his world shattered.

No! This can't be happening! Of all the people in this huge city, why did Kavya have to meet Jyoti?!

Kavya smirked at him. "You're here! I ran into Jyoti at the hospital, and she wanted to thank you, so I brought her here. I did the right thing, didn't I, Manik?"

Manik knew exactly what she was implying. His face turned pale.

Before he could say anything, Jyoti ran up to him. "Thank you so much, Manik! You helped me get through such a tough time!"

Manik was barely listening. His heartbeat was out of control, and he couldn't even look at Kavya.

"Enough talking, Jyoti! Let's celebrate!" Kavya interrupted. "To my arrival in Bangkok and our reunion!"

For Jyoti, these words sounded normal, but for Manik, they were sharp taunts.

As Kavya and Jyoti drank happily, Manik secretly texted Dinesh:

"Jyoti is at my house. Take her away immediately!"

Kavya was drinking excessively. Unlike Jyoti, her happiness was fake. Inside, she was breaking apart, realizing how easily Manik had fooled her. She wanted to cry her heart out, but she had to stay strong in front of Jyoti.

Manik, however, could see the pain in her eyes. Please be strong, Kavya… I'm sorry… don't punish yourself like this… he thought.

After two hours of drinking, both girls were completely drunk. By then, Dinesh had arrived and tried to take care of Jyoti while Manik, furious, ordered him to take her away.

Once Jyoti left, a heavily drunk Kavya stumbled toward Manik. "You're a terrible person… I hate you, Manik… you fooled me…" she slurred before breaking into tears.

As Manik tried to comfort her, she pushed him away, laughing, crying, and dancing randomly. She was a mess.

Seeing her like this, Manik had no choice but to carry her to the room. But when she became uncontrollable, he tied her hands to the bed.

"You monster! I'll report you!" Kavya screamed in her drunken state.

Manik sighed and brought her lemon water. But when she refused, he had to force-feed her… mouth-to-mouth.

And in that heated moment, something changed between them.
