Morning
As soon as Kavya opened her eyes, she clutched her head.
"Why is my head hurting so much? God, this headache will kill me..."
She slowly sat up on the bed and looked around the room. Suddenly, her gaze fell on her naked body. She peeked under the blanket and found herself completely unclothed. She looked at Manik, who was sleeping deeply beside her, with anger and hatred in her eyes.
"Beast… Monster...!!!"
Seeing Manik, all the memories of the previous day flashed before her eyes, making her even angrier. She felt like killing the beast in front of her, but controlling herself, she got off the bed and quickly put on her scattered clothes.
As soon as she stepped out of the room, she started searching for her passport because she had now realized that her missing belongings and passport were all part of Manik's plan to keep her with him. She pondered for a moment.
"Where could Manik have kept my passport? He's not foolish enough to leave it in my room. It must be in his room or hidden somewhere in the house."
With this thought, she ransacked his entire room, then the study room, followed by the other two rooms, and even the kitchen—but all in vain. The only place left was the living room. After thirty seconds of disappointment, anger flared within her again, and she restarted her search, this time throwing everything around in frustration.
Hearing the noises, Manik woke up. He noticed Kavya was missing from the bed. The loud noises from outside made him quickly put on his clothes and step out of the room. What he saw left him shocked. The entire house was in a mess, and Kavya was frantically searching for something as if she was trying to escape from someone.
Manik walked up to her and asked softly,
"What are you looking for, sweetheart?"
Hearing his voice, Kavya was startled for a moment but immediately yelled,
"My passport! I want my passport right now!"
Manik was taken aback.
"What? But why?"
Seeing how calm and normal Manik was acting, Kavya's rage only grew. There was not even an ounce of guilt on his face. She raised her voice,
"I want to go back to India! I want to go home! That's why, give me my passport right now!"
Kavya was losing her temper and demanding her passport. But Manik had no intention of letting her go. Just the thought of losing her pained him. Without thinking, he pulled her into his arms.
"No! I won't let you go anywhere! You will stay here, with me, forever!"
But Kavya was filled with hatred. She pushed him away and screamed,
"Stay away from me and give me my passport, understand?"
Now, Manik was getting angry too.
"No, I will not give it to you! And why do you want to go back to India? We can live together here!"
Manik held her face in his hands and said,
"I love you, Kavya. Please, don't do this. I'll go crazy without you..."
His endless pleading only infuriated Kavya more. She pushed him away and shouted,
"Then go crazy! I don't care! I just want my passport! I have to leave now!"
Tears were rolling down her cheeks as she kept demanding her passport.
"I'm leaving this place right now! I can't stand being with you even for a second!"
Saying this, she headed towards her room to get her things.
So far, Manik had been trying to convince her with love, but now this was beyond his tolerance. He immediately grabbed her and pinned her against the wall.
"I will NOT give you your passport! I will NOT let you go back to India to marry that idiot!"
Hearing this, Kavya furiously yelled,
"Why do you have such a big problem with Vicky?"
Manik fell silent for a moment. His anger peaked. How could she ask such a foolish question? She was talking about another man in front of him! He clenched his fists and shouted,
"Because it makes me furious! The way you talk about him, the way you think about him, the way you care about him—it drives me mad! So mad that I want to kill him!"
Kavya was shocked.
"So you want to keep me locked up here?"
Seeing her cry, Manik was losing his mind. He tried to explain,
"No, sweetheart! I'm not imprisoning you! I just can't let you leave me! Please try to understand!"
But the more Manik tried to convince her, the angrier and more aggressive she became. One thought kept haunting her mind—Manik has taken me hostage.
"You're controlling my entire life, Manik! What do you want?"
Finally, she threatened to commit suicide again. This terrified Manik, but he knew she was using his weakness against him. If he let her continue this, she would eventually leave him.
Taking a deep breath, he calmly said,
"Go ahead. Do it."
Manik stepped closer to her and said,
"But after you die, the people you love... I will make their lives a living hell. They will beg for death! If I can't live in peace, then neither will they—whether it's your family, your best friend, or your precious fiancé!"
Saying this, he stormed out in anger, unable to control his emotions.
Later...
Kavya sat like a statue until she was startled by the ringing of her phone. She checked the caller ID—it was Anu.
As soon as she answered, Anu spoke in a panicked voice,
"Kavya di, we've been trying to reach you for so long... Vicky met with an accident!"
Hearing this, Kavya's phone fell to the ground, and the call switched to speaker mode.
Anu repeated,
"Di, did you hear? Jiju had an accident! Please come back quickly!"
Standing by the door, Manik had heard everything.
The moment Kavya saw Manik, she lost control. She grabbed his collar and shouted,
"Did you do this?! Answer me! Did you cause Vicky's accident?!"
Before she could finish, Manik spoke in a deep voice,
"Yes. I did it. To show you what I will do if you try anything stupid."
Hearing this, Kavya broke down in tears and locked herself in her room. Manik thought she would come out after calming down, but morning turned to night, and she still hadn't come out.
Manik had no choice but to use his own methods.
He unlocked the door with a duplicate key and saw Kavya sobbing on the bed. Without wasting a second, he picked her up in his arms.
Kavya struggled and screamed,
"Manik! Let me go!"
But he didn't listen. He carried her into the bathroom and dropped her into the bathtub.
As she tried to get out, he grabbed her hand and pulled her back, running his eyes over her wet body.
In a seductive voice, he whispered,
"Sit down, sweetheart. Or I have other ways to make you obey..."!
