"Sarah, I—can I meet up with Beth?"
I texted Sarah, knowing it would arouse suspicion to whomever might probably be watching over Beth if I texted her directly.
But, on second thought, I thought it wasn't going to be a good way to start the chat, so, I deleted it and texted again...
"Hey, greetings," I texted, and as soon as the message delivered, I got a reply from Sarah.
"How are you doing? Miss me already?" She replied.
Well, it was going to be a bad idea if I made out straight to let her know I actually thought of Beth, so, I played it cool.
"Yes dear, I feel lonely," I replied her.
We had chats, back and forth until she brought about their family issues. I thought it was a good idea to bring in Beth's topic to her.
"I want to see Beth, can you make it happen?" I asked.
"I wish you can, but that's going to be difficult," Sarah replied.
Even though I didn't beseech her presence, I could feel she was weighed out by the problem too.
I thought about it, and understood that Sarah might also be monitored, since all she had wanted was her daughter's happiness. According to our chats, she was never in support of the idea of marrying off her daughter for the sake of power and influence.
"I understand. But, find a way to invite Beth out to go shopping with you," I texted her, assuring her that I was going to send over the location details later. "Good night."
"Night night," she replied.
"As today ends, I will only have a day blockage to Monday. Work." I sighed myself to sleep, and turned my head to the side, allowing sleep to take control of my innocent body.

I woke up the next day in a positive note to realize I had slept for half the hours of the next day. But it didn't matter. It was Sunday.
I collected my phone from the side table where I kept it, and checked the time. It was 12:49 p.m.
I laid down my goals for the day, and headed downstairs only to be greeted first by my mom.
"Good afternoon," she greeted.
My heart skipped a bit, because as I rushed down the stairs, I didn't expect her to be standing by the rails. "Good afternoon beautiful."
She stared at me so intently as if I was suspicious.
My mind immediately ended up with the thoughts of my experience with Sarah. 'Did Sarah, maybe tell her about that?'
However, I kept my cool and asked her what the problem with the stars meant, and her reply relieved me a lot of stress.
"Did you sneak a girl in last night?" she jokingly asked. "I mean, why are you waking by this time?"
"For you first question, I wish?' I replied her with a smirk. Of course, I was going to ignore the latter question. I had things I had to take care of.
My first goal was to text Sarah the details concerning the venue where she should meet me with Beth. I don't know how, but I hoped they would be able to come out.
"Today, invite Beth out in pretence of taking her for shopping. I will be there waiting, don't tell her about my presence though," I sent her the text.
Remembering I didn't text her the location, I did that immediately. "Location is at the Diamond Boutique in the Diamond mall at the outskirts of the city. Let me know when you arrive."
After a few minutes, she replied the message. "Time?"
"Oh, how can I forget that too. Hoping to see you by 16:30 p.m." I texted back.
"Yes, daddy."
I sat back on my bed, with my phone placed beside me. I was already impatient with meeting Beth. I wondered how things were going to turn out, but I decided to lower my expectations to avoid surprises later on.
My mind suddenly drifted to those days I had workout with my dad on Sundays. Being a Champion in Muay Thai, he taught me the art of destroying the human body with the usage of any deadly weapon, art of defense.
Funny though,he taught me that the best defence remained walking away while you could. According to him, we owe no one proof of our ability but ourselves.
With all these thoughts ravishing in my mind, I remembered I've not worked out since my dad passed away. I never got the vibe like those days with him, you know. How things tend to turn out after a change it affected to it.
He was gone in reality, but has always remained alive in my heart. His values and ideas were with me.
I, however, got the urge to visit our gym, so I did.
Poow! Poow!
Boom! Boom!
I rained several attacks on the punching bag, adrenaline taking over my body as I continued. The feeling was getting back, it's empowering.
'I love this,' I thought to myself.
After couple of minutes of intense workout I felt fatigued, refreshed, different and good about myself, all at the same time.
Heading out the door, I was greeted by my mom at the door step. She had been watching all the while, but her face looked somewhat foggy. As if she was about to cry.
"I'm proud of you, Tony," she said, and immediately, I cringed unto her. Hugging her tightly.
"In no due time mom, you won't have to worry about me any more," this I said only caused her to tighten the embrace.
After sometime, I pulled her from the hug and led her to the kitchen. "Prepare me something, my lady."
"Yes sir," she said, reciprocating my smile.
"Alright then," I said, turning to the kitchen door. "I want to go have shower."

Done with the shower, I came out with my bathroom towel wrapped around my waist, only to be welcomed by my mother.
"You got a message," she said, looking at me curiously.
I picked up my phone and almost casted myself with a gasp. 'Has she seen this? Is that why she shot me that look just now?'
She noticed my countenance and asked, "Who is it?"
I flinged my head slightly sideways to let her know it's not something of a big deal. But it was, just if only my mother had the capability to unlock my next chapters—reality chapters.
The message was a blue image. A porny image of Sarah, posing in the doggystyle format with her breasts protruding.
'This woman,' I thought.
"Well, we shall see," I said, and sent her a smirk emoji.
Inwardly, I continued to thank God my mom didn't get to see the message, except the pop down notification.
If only she did—hmm.
