He opened his mouth, but no sound came out.
"Kellan, you're on your own now."
I turned away without mercy.
I thought that after learning the truth, Kellan would have the sense to stay out of my life.
But to my surprise, he managed to find out my address and showed up at my doorstep with Donavan in tow.
I was startled.
Kellan held a bouquet of white roses, his eyes full of emotion: "Vivienne, it's all my fault, every bit of it. Please give me one more chance. Don't ten years of feelings mean anything to you?"
Donavan, in a complete turnaround from his usual nasty attitude towards me, tugged at my clothes calling me "Mom."
"Mom, I knows she was wrong. Dad and I both need you so much. Please come back, Mom..."
I yanked my clothes free from Donavan's grasp and immediately called the property management: "There's a crazy person harassing me, waiting outside my door. Can you send someone to deal with this?"
